1. To start, we read 1 Chronicles 16:34-36:

    • Give thanks to YHWH, for He is good, for His covenant-love endures forever, and say, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us, and deliver us from the nations, so that we may give thanks to Your holy name, and glory in Your praise. Blessed be YHWH, the God of Israel forever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised YHWH.1 Chr. 16:34-36
    • Lord, for 3,000 years Israel has prayed this. Thank You for hearing and answering (Psa. 50:15).

    • In Your great love, You have chosen this people and its land (Deut. 7:6-8).

    • Great is Your faithfulness to Your persecuted people throughout history (1 Pet. 4:19).

    • Eternal God, since You exist outside of time nothing takes You by surprise. Hallelujah! Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. (1 Tim. 1:17)

  2. The UN General Assembly's annual meeting is taking place this week. Yesterday, Palestinian President Abbas lied to the world about Israeli intentions on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, saying Israel is planning to divide it. The last time Abbas lied about Israel's plans for the Mount, the "knife-intifada" began and many people – both Jews and Arabs – were killed or wounded.

    • Lord, deal with these lies which we condemn in the name of Yeshua (Isa. 54:17).

    • Forbid that Abbas' false words would ignite another spat of terrorist attacks (Psa. 68:1, 30).

    • YHWH, destroy and divide their tongues, for I have seen violence and fighting in the city.Psa. 55:9
    • Impart an extra alertness to all Israelis – both security forces and civilians (Mark 13:37).

    • Abbas did say, "Jerusalem is not for sale." We say amen, and thank You for giving this city to Your people – for Your holy name's sake (Isa. 37:35).

    • Guard over the Temple Mount and aid Israeli security forces to put out all fires instantly.

    • Use this obvious lie to show the Israeli opposition in the Knesset that there really is no Palestinian leader with whom Israel can seriously talk to about a peace deal (Psa. 55:21; 140:2).

    • Yet please keep Abbas in office as long as he continues to be a major stumbling block to any plans to divide Your land in a peace deal (Prov. 22:28).

    • Replace any spirits of fear from Israeli security personnel and impart a spirit of trust in You (Heb. 13:6).

  3. In another meeting yesterday, Abbas threatened to cut off all financial aid to Gaza. He is trying to put pressure on Hamas so that they will hand over all control of Gaza to the Palestinian Authority. Yet usually, in situations like this – Israel become the scapegoat for all their anger. Meanwhile, the Friday Gaza border demonstrations have recently turned into a daily affair.

    • Lord, wake up the Gazans to see who their real enemy is – their Hamas rulers (Ex. 1:14).

    • Let them direct their anger and frustration against both Hamas and the spirit of Islam.

    • Save many of them at this season (John 3:16).

    • Lord, their children have been brainwashed. Set them free by Your grace (Matt. 18:6).

    • Set the Hamas leaders against each other as the pressure of financial lack increases (Psa. 129:5).

    • Protect all IDF forces in that area that are protecting the Israelis who live near Gaza (Psa. 44:1-8).

    • Renew their strength, courage and alertness. Even the young shall faint and be weary, and young men shall utterly fall; but those who wait on YHWH shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (Isa. 40:30-31)

    • Do not allow a spirit of discouragement to come upon them (Psa. 42:5-8).

    • Use the believers in the IDF to be salt and light to their companions (Matt. 5:13-16).

    • Abba, help Israel devise a low-tech solution to this attack of low-tech incendiary devices (1 Sam. 17:50).

    • Protect all Israeli communities in the south – both sovereignly and through the plans of Israel's leaders.

    • Show us how to pray so that Israel can eventually retake Gaza (Jam. 1:5).

  4. Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu also spoke at the UN yesterday. He exposed a new Iranian nuclear warehouse and challenged European nations to learn history's lesson – especially that appeasement of Hitler did not work, so why do they expect that appeasing the Iranian leadership would be any different.

    • Thank You for Bibi's directness and truthfulness – regardless of how the world sees him (Gal. 4:16).

    • Set European leaders free from the fantasy of appeasement as the way to deal with Iran (Prov. 16:5).

    • Thank You for the Eastern EU leaders who are not deceived by the spirit of Islam. The fear of YHWH is to hate evil; I hate pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the wicked mouth. (Prov. 8:13)

    • Raise up credible voices in the EU who are against trading with Iran.

    • Wake up the Body of Messiah in the EU to intercede for their leaders and their nations (Ezek. 22:30).

  5. At a press conference yesterday, US President Trump honored the Kurds, while saying that the US was considering what to do next in their relationship with these precious people. We have been praying for the creation of a Kurdistan for some time now, and this encouraged us to continue to do that.

    • Thank You for Trump's off-the-cuff recognition that the Kurds are a separate nation (Gen. 10:5).

    • Do not allow America to desert them at this time.

    • Strengthen Israel's ties with the Kurds and keep them hidden at this time.

    • They have a history of blessing Israel and the Jews, therefore we ask that You would bless them with the establishment of a Kurdistan (Num. 24:9).

    • …Blessed be My people Egypt, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance. (Isa, 19:25) As the Kurds live in the area of ancient Assyria, bless them as the work of Your hands.

    • We also ask for the greatest blessing to fall upon them – the unveiling of Messiah Yeshua as their Lord.

    • For it is God who said, "Out of darkness Light shall shine;" who also shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Yeshua the Messiah.2 Cor. 4:6
  6. This past week Trump said that the best way to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the two-state solution. He also said he does not care how it is done; he just wants a "deal". He also said that this is hard because it is a "real estate" deal. This means we have our prayer work cut out for us – and if you are an American, even more so as this is much more a crucial issue for your nation than for Israel.

    • Lord, please deal with Trump, and since he is a friend of Israel – make him a friend in the biblical way and not in the way of the world (Jam. 4:4).

    • Where are his Christian advisors? Why have they not confronted him with the biblical truth of what it means for a nation that messes with Your land (Joel 3:1-2)?

    • If the fear of God has been replaced by the fear of man in this group, shake them up now (Psa. 118:9)!

    • Open Trump's mind to hear when Zionists warn him that dealing with Your land as if it were only a real estate deal is super dangerous and actually blasphemous in Your hearing (Ezek. 35:12-13).

    • Thank You for Naftali Bennett's declaration that there will be no 'Palestine' established in this land while he and his Jewish Home party are part of Israel's government (Lev. 25:23).

    • Abba, do not permit Netanyahu to compromise on this, and let him learn the lessons of modern history, re: giving away land for peace (Zech. 2:8).

    • Give Bibi wisdom on how to put the brakes on this "peace" process (Job 28:28).

    • Keep Israel's Prime Minister as alert to the dangers of this deal as if he were a soldier on guard along any of Israel's borders (Neh. 4:9).

    • Surround both Netanyahu and Trump with godly advisors and remove all ungodly ones (Prov. 15:22).

    • We pray these verses for Bibi: O Lord, how my foes have increased! Many are the ones who rise up against me. Many say of my soul, There is no deliverance for him in God. Selah. But You, O YHWH, are a shield for me; my glory, the One who lifts up my head. I cried to YHWH with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill. Selah. I laid down and slept. I awoke, for YHWH kept me. (Psa. 3:1-5)

    • We do thank You for how You have so miraculously sustained him up to this point (Psa. 80:17).

  7. The Israeli-Russian relationship is still very tense. After Syria shot down a Russian reconnaissance plane, the Russian military blamed Israel – yet Russia's President Putin tried to calm things. That did not work and we sense a power struggle between the military and Putin who has been up to this time, on friendly terms with Israel and especially with PM Netanyahu.

    • Lord, intervene unless this is something You are orchestrating (Psa. 33:10-11).

    • And if You are behind the scenes of this, show us how to pray (Luke 11:1).

    • Whatever it takes, continue to allow Israel to have the freedom to attack all Iranian weapons shipments and storage facilities in Syria, or anywhere else they are placing them (Mic. 4:11-13).

    • If advanced equipment – the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, and electronic jamming equipment – is made available to Syria, and if Israel has not figured out a way to deal with them, then reveal to Israel how to make this equipment obsolete.

    • Lord, would You please favor Putin in his struggle against the Russian military leadership (Rom. 9:21).

    • Remind him of the lessons of history – that in every war in modern times in which Israel has had to face Russian equipment and jets, Israel has made a mockery of them all (Isa. 41:10-16).

    • Arrange the timing and topics of the soon-to-take-place meeting between Netanyahu and Putin.

    • While we do not trust in "horses and chariots," we do thank You for the very advanced ones You have provided for Israel's armed forces (Psa. 20:7-9).

  8. Municipal elections are going to take place throughout Israel on Oct. 30th. Runoffs would be in Nov. if needed. We focused on praying for Jerusalem as its mayor has an extremely challenging and important job.

    • Thank You Lord for reducing the number of candidates that are running for this Jerusalem position.

    • Lord, show us Your choice (Dan. 2:20-23).

    • If Zeev Elkin of Likud is that choice, please confirm it to us (1 Sam. 16:7).

    • Give Jerusalem a person who has the vision to prepare this city for Your soon return (Zech. 14:16).

    • Raise up throughout Israel "shepherds" whom You have anointed to feed Your people (Jer. 3:14-15).

    • Raise up leaders who line up with Zechariah 8:16: These are the things that you shall do: each man shall speak the truth to his neighbor. Also, judge with truth and justice for peace in your gates.

  9. Israel's water situation is desperate. While we have desalinated water for household needs, the water for Israel's agriculture and nature come from above, and we are entering into a 6th year of drought.

    • Lord, we remind You that this is Your land and You promised to make it like Eden (Ezek. 36:35).

    • We ask for a very wet fall, winter and spring – to replenish all that is lacking in this land (Zech. 10:1).

    • While Israel is far from being a righteous nation yet, still Messiah Yeshua said You pour out the rain on the just and unjust (Matt. 5:45b). So for Your glory's sake, please do it this year (Ezek. 36:36).

    • Confound all the meteorologists and other experts with Your gracious provision (Jer. 9:23-24).

  10. And that lead us to pray for spiritual water on this nation. On October 1st, is the final day of the feast, and most likely it was that day in which Yeshua said this: And in the last day of the great feast, Yeshua stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, "Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." (But He spoke this about the Spirit, which they who believed on Him should receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Yeshua was not yet glorified.) (John 7:37-39) Please pray for the salvation of Israel and the Jewish people in exile over this weekend.

Thank you for standing with us. Remember the goal of our intercession – both in Israel and in our lives – is nothing more nor less than that our Lord Yeshua would be exalted – to the glory of God the Father (Phil. 2:9-11).
