1. Praise: It is amazing to see how God has arranged it so that on the only Shabbat in the year when Messiah Yeshua was still in the tomb, the prophetic portion the Jewish people read is Ezekiel 37:1-14 – the resurrection of Israel's dry bones!

    • We thank You for the modern example of Your resurrection power in the restoration of the nation of Israel to its land (Ezek. 37:11-14).

    • God, we give You all of the glory for Israel's restoration which fulfills Your Word (Ezek. 36:22-23).

    • Lord Yeshua, we praise You for being the First of the First-fruits harvest (Ex. 34:26; 1 Cor. 15:20).

    • What a comfort to know that death has been defeated by You (Isa, 25:8; Hos. 13:14; 2 Tim. 1:10).

    • We praise You Yeshua, and declare You Lord of the living and the dead (Rom. 14:9)!

    • We bless You for being the resurrection and the life to all who believe (John 11:25).

    • Lord Yeshua, thank You for revealing by Your Spirit that both You and Your Father were active in Your resurrection (Acts 3:15; Eph. 1:19-20 [God the Father]; John 2:19; 10:17-18 [God the Son]).

    • Fear not; I am the First and the Last: I am He that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and I have the keys of hell and of death.Rev. 1:17-18
    • Because You are alive and are interceding for us, we have confidence that You who have begun a good work in us will, by Your grace, complete it (Rom. 8:31-39; Phil 1:6).

  2. Salvation: During this Passover/Unleavened Bread feast we prayed for many Jews to receive Messiah Yeshua, and we will continue to pray for all Israel to be saved (Rom. 11:26). Since this is in line with His will, we have confidence that He has answered, and will continue to answer our prayers (1 John 5:14-15). We also asked the Lord Yeshua to lead all new believers to their specific place in the His Body.

    • Lamb of God, You are our Passover and we bless You (John 1:29; 1 Cor. 5:7).

    • Lord, as You and Moses were discussing Your journeying with Your nation despite the grievous sin of the golden calf (in Shabbat's Torah portion), both You and Moses emphasized Your grace as the reason why You would not forsake Your nation (Ex. 33:12-13, 16-17, 19; 34:6, 9). We thank You, Almighty God, for Your amazing grace which was openly revealed in the Old Testament (Psa. 118:1).

    • God, turn Your people away from man's/rabbis words and back to Your Word (Psa. 80:3, 7, 19).

    • Abba, please send forth more laborers into the harvest for the Jewish people (Matt. 9:37-38).

    • Anoint all whom You have raised up to be evangelists to Your people (Gal. 2:7; Eph. 4:11).

    • By Your grace, lead all the recently born-again Messianic Jews in paths of righteousness for Your holy name's sake (Psa. 23:3).

    • By Your Spirit, guide them to their assigned place in Your Body (Rom. 12:3-8; 1 Cor. 12:12-20).

    • Prepare the messianic "barns" for the outpouring of Your Spirit on Your people (Joel 2:27-28).

    • Raise up pastors after Your heart who will shepherd them in Your ways (Jer. 3:15; Eph. 4:11).

    • Use their new nature in Messiah to impact all who know them, provoking unbelievers to jealousy (Rom. 11:11, 14; 2 Cor. 5:17).

  3. Aliyah: We believe God has also heard our prayers for the Jews in exile to realize that it is way past the time to come home. So we asked Him to clear their paths of all that might cause them to hesitate, to get frustrated, to give up, or simply to change their minds.

    • Lord, the word in Isaiah 62:10 is in the context of intercession (62:6-7). so in prayer we go through the gates; prepare the way of the people…cast up the highway; gather out the stones, as we ask You to remove everything which is hindering Your people from coming home to Israel.

    • Remove all hindrances in Israel as well that makes it harder than it should be to return (Isa. 60:11a).

    • Cast down all the obstacles – whether bureaucracy, racism, religious beliefs, etc. (2 Kin. 23:12).

    • Lord Yeshua, raise up more intercessors in Your church to see that this is a major part of what You are doing in today's world, and who will co-labor with You for its completion (Jer. 31:10; 1 Cor. 3:9).

    • Lay the burden to pray for and to pay for the aliyah on many more believers (Isa. 49:22; 60:5-6).

    • Let elders encourage their churches to invest in what You are doing in Israel today (Jer. 32:41).

    • Lead Israel's government to prepare for the massive influx of new immigrants and to build more houses, and roads, and create new jobs for Your people who return (Isa. 65:12; Amos 9:13-15).

    • Abba, scare the "exile" out of Your people who stubbornly remain in the nations (Jer. 16:16).

    • Use the increase of anti-Semitic attacks in the West to wake them up (Isa. 59:14-15a; Mic. 7:2).

    • Show many Israelis who now live among the gentiles that it is time to come home (Psa. 137:1-6).

    • Lord, wake up the Jewish leaders and rabbis in exile to return and to lead their flocks back home.

  4. Current government: Depending on how negotiations for the next government proceed the current government might still be in office for several months. And if we go to another election, which is a definite possibility, then we are looking at another five to six months in which Israel's current government is still running the nation.

    • Lord, do not allow this government to miss anything it needs to do during this time (Neh. 7:3).

    • Yet do not allow them to touch anything that is to be reserved for the next government (Psa. 32:8-9).

    • Thank You that Bibi Netanyahu is still Israel's prime minister in all the world's chaos (Psa. 75:6-7).

    • Strengthen him for as long as You have ordained him to lead Your nation (Psa. 80:17).

International Criminal Court: Responding to the illegal and blasphemous ICC accusations against Israel of war crimes needs to happen by next week. Yet reportedly, as of this alert, there have been no meetings to discuss what Israel's strategy should be. Could that be an answer to prayer?

    • For YHWH is our judge, YHWH is our lawgiver, YHWH is our king; He will save us.Isa. 33:22
    • Guide Israel's leaders to know whether to respond directly to this – or to ignore it (Prov. 26:4-5).

    • Speak clearly if Israel is to stand still and see You fight for it as You did at the Red Sea (Ex. 14:13).

    • Thank You for the non-Israelis and the few nations who are defending Israel against this ICC case.

    • Watch over Psalm 21:11-13 against the ICC and its judges and regardless of what happens, we desire that You alone receive the glory (Psa. 115:1-3).

Covid-19: In this battle against Covid-19, we look to God, not to the government, to heal His people. Yet we are told to pray for and heed the government as well (1 Tim. 2:1-4; 1 Pet. 2:13-16).

    • Thank You for the new breakthroughs on the medical side that Israelis have developed (Jer. 29:11).

    • All that are from You, please anoint and move into use quickly. Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. (Jer. 33:6)

    • Continue to guide and modify all Israel's government's guidelines re: Covid-19 (Prov. 19:21).

Biden: We are very concerned with what is being said by US President Biden's administration in relation to Israel and the Middle East. They have just affirmed that they view Israel as an occupying force in Judea and Samaria – Israel's God-given biblical heartland! They are also beginning to give funds once again to the terrorist-leaders who are running the Palestinian Authority.

    • Lord, let Israel use Your Word to break Biden's demonic lies about Your land (Isa. 55:11).

    • Show Israel how to respond to Biden's plans to return to Obama's anti-biblical "land-for-peace" peace plan with a Palestinian people who still train their children to hate all Jews (Psa. 120:1-7).

    • Keep Biden and VP Harris so busy that they cannot concentrate on pressuring Israel to again make dangerous "compromises for peace" with the Palestinians, which only results in more dead Jews.

    • Please handpick the next US Ambassador to Israel (Psa. 103:19).

    • Continue to anoint Israel's US and UN Ambassador Gilad Erdan (Job 32:8).

    • Place Your Word in his mouth and let him declare in as he defends Israel (Eph. 6:17b; Heb. 4:12).

    • As Israel sees how divided America is, let them trust You and not any nation or man (Psa. 121:1-8).

  5. New government: As of this writing, the successful formation of a new government is as likely as the need for another election in 2021. We have asked God for a government which is in line with His will, and again this week we asked for that and also prayed for Him to block the formation of any government which would move this nation away from His sovereign will for Israel today.

    • Lord, bring order out of the political chaos that has gripped Israel these past few years (Gen. 1:2).

    • Creator of Israel (Isa. 43:15), please miraculously create a stable and unified government.

    • Give to Israeli President Rivlin great wisdom as to whom he should choose to have the first chance to form the next government (Prov. 8:15-16). [He will make that decision this coming week.]

    • Overrule all the plans of man by Your sovereign plans (Psa. 33:10-11).

    • We plead with You to raise up the leader of Your choice for Israel at this time (Dan. 2:21).

    • Continue cleaning out the dross from Israel's political scene so that righteousness will finally prevail (Isa. 1:25-26).

    • Abba, where are the shepherds whom You said You would raise up for Israel when it returns from exile (Jer. 23:3-4)? Show us specifically who they are so that we can pray for them (Amos 3:7).

    • Lord, forbid any government that would consider dividing this land for any reason (Lev. 25:23).

    • Instead give Israel a government that will boldly extend its sovereignty over all the settlements and over much of Judea, Samaria and all of the Jordan Valley (Judg. 11:22-23).

    • God, do not allow a government to be formed that depends on anti-Zionist parties (Mark 3:25).

    • While compromise is the life of politics, may the next government refuse to compromise on any biblical or life and death issues for the sake of "peace" with the Palestinians (Psa. 140:4).

    • In Shabbat's Torah portion, Moses prays for grace for Israel so that they will be seen as Your nation which You have separated from all the other nations (Ex. 33:16). We ask for grace for the next government to continue to keep Israel as a nation which dwells alone (Num. 23:9b).

  6. Internal security: The rumors about the up-coming Palestinian elections continue to fly. One of the most popular Palestinians to challenge Abbas is the terrorist Marwan Barghouti who is serving several life sentences in jail in Israel. If he wins, expect pressure from an anti-Semitic, anti-Zionistic world to fall on Israel to release him, with likely unfair comparisons to Nelson Mandela.

    • In Shabbat's Torah portion You warned Israel against making covenants with inhabitants of the land (Ex. 34:12). Use this over this weekend to speak to many Israeli politicians about the Palestinians.

    • Lord, in Shabbat's Torah portion, You said You would cast out the land's inhabitants and enlarge Israel's share (Ex. 34:24). As this lines up with Jeremiah 12:14-17, we ask for a sudden increase of emigration of the Palestinians from Your land (Psa. 10:16).

    • May You be the One who determines whether there are Palestinian elections or not (Psa. 96:10).

    • If there are elections, prepare Israel to know how to respond – regardless of the outcome (Isa. 43:9).

    • If there is Palestinian infighting, as is likely, show the IDF what to do or not do (2 Chr. 20:23-24).

    • Defend the settlers with a huge host of angels as they settle Your land (Psa. 34:7).

    • Give Israel courage to stop all the EU backed illegal Palestinian building in Area C (Neh. 2:20).

    • Warn the EU nations who are encouraging – and financing – the Palestinians to build there that You really do curse those nations that curse Your people (Num. 24:9; Joel 3:1-2).

    • Do that same with all EU NGOs who are also supporting this illegal building activity.

  7. External security: Today all of Israel's dangerous external security issues come from Iran and its proxies: Hizbullah in Lebanon and Syria; Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Gaza; the Houthis in Yemen and the various Iraqi proxies Iran is trying to establish. Iran's proxies in Yemen now have long range missiles which can reach Israel.

    • Help Israel and its Arab Gulf allies, including Saudi Arabia, to work together and develop military plans to stop Iran's nuclear weapons programs (Psa. 44:4-7; 68:20).

    • If need be, let these Arab nations lend their full support to an all-out Israeli attack.

    • Let Israel look to You in the midst of Biden's unclear dealings with Iran (Psa. 68:1, 30).

    • So far Biden has been more severe with Iran than was expected. Keep his feet on the brakes and force the Iranian regime to compromise (Jer. 49:37).

    • Lord, Creator of all, we ask You to use the very elements of the earth – as You did in the ten plagues You brought on Egypt – and totally destroy Iran's and its proxies military abilities (Ex. 10:7; 14:25).

    • Draw Hizbullah into Your trap and set the Lebanese and Israelis free from them (Psa. 141:9-10).

    • Send deep division into Hizbullah's organization, as well as between them and Iran (Matt. 12:25).

    • We pray for a similar division to be sent into the terror groups in Gaza (Job 12:17; Psa. 129:5).

    • Place a deep desire into Syria's leaders to pull away from Iran as soon as possible (Job 12:23-25).

    • If Iran is planning anything that Israel is not aware of – reveal it quickly (Job 12:22).

    • Break the bow of Iran, preventing them from launching their missiles and rockets (Jer. 49:35).

    • Continue to drain all of Iran's finances, yet have much mercy on the people in the street (Job 12:15).

    • Use the Iranian church as Your secret weapon in that nation as they bless Israel and teach them how to intercede effectively both for and against their government (Gen. 12:3a; 1 Tim. 2:1-4).

Shabbat shalom, and blessings from Jerusalem – the city in which Messiah conquered death!

For the IFI team

Yeshua said to Thomas, 'Touch me and behold my hands; and thrust your hand into My side. Be not faithless, but believe!' Thomas answered, 'My Lord and my God.' Yeshua said, 'Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed.
Blessed are they who have not seen, and yet believe.John 20:27-29
