1. Praise:

This past week Israel celebrated its 75th anniversary, or as someone said, "Israel is 75 years old – give or take 3,000 years!" To be alive at this time and to see this incredible fulfillment of God's prophetic promises is a privilege for which we praise Him. It Is amazing to consider that He has brought each of us into His kingdom for such a time like this (Est. 4:14b).

    • Abba Father, we bless and thank You for bringing us into Your Son's kingdom today (Col. 1:13).

    • We praise You for opening our eyes to see these wondrous things coming to pass (Psa. 119:18).

    • We are encouraged by of Your faithfulness to Your nation which for the most part is not yet saved, and so how much more faithful will You be to us (Deut. 7:9; Psa. 89:8; 1 Thess. 5:24; 2 Thess. 3:3).

    • We gratefully remember that You, Lord Yeshua, chose us to be a part of Your people (John 15:16a).

    • Sanctify yourselves and be holy, for I am YHWH your God… I am YHWH who sanctifies you. (Lev. 20:7, 8b) Thank You Lord, for working in us to will and do of Your good pleasure (Phil. 2:13).

    • We bless You for calling us to co-labor with You through prayer (Prov. 15:29b; 1 Cor. 3:9).

    • We know and trust that You are a God of order and not chaos – despite what we see happening in the world today, and often even in our own lives (Gen. 1:2-3; 1 Cor. 14:33).

    • We still have enemies, yet we praise You for preparing a table for us in their presence (Psa. 23:5).

    • Thank You for telling us to call on You and so be saved from our enemies (Psa. 18:3).

  2. Government & society:

There are verses in the Torah portion which could make Israel's internal situation much nicer if more Israelis, especially its politicians, would heed them, with the most important being Leviticus 19:18b: …you shall love your neighbor as yourself…

    • Lord, use Your command in Leviticus to convict Israelis who are walking in disobedience to this word today, especially those in leadership roles who can set an example for the nation (Isa. 55:11).

    • Please restore a godly respect for one another despite deep differences (Ex. 23:4-5; 1 Thess. 5:15)

    • [The anti-government demonstrations are now also against the "occupation" of "Palestinian" land.] Lord, as this is so unbiblical, we ask You in mercy to intervene and stop these demonstrations by the left-wing and political opposition who in fact did lose the last elections (1 Sam. 12:20-22).

    • Use this display of the flags of Israel's enemies to cause many Israelis to wake up to the real reason behind these demonstrations and to stop supporting them (Psa. 34:14; Prov. 11:21).

    • Seeing the deep divide, turn more Israelis to seek You as the only answer (Psa. 80:3, 7, 19).

    • Lord, speak to Jews who live outside of Israel to be very circumspect about interfering in the internal affairs of a nation in which they do not pay taxes or have their children fight for (Prov. 20:3; 26:17).

    • [Last night there was a pro-government, pro-judicial reform rally outside of the Knesset that drew somewhere between 200,000 to 600,000 people.] Thank You for these Israelis who are encouraging the coalition to move ahead with their election campaign promises and pass a judicial reform package.

    • Let the judicial reform be passed with all the changes that You want, but none of the changes which would make it useless in putting a halt to Israel being rule by unelected judges (Deut. 16:18).

    • We again ask You to fulfill Isaiah 1:25-26, and then receive the glory for fulfilling it (Psa. 115:1-3).

    • Prevent PM Bibi Netanyahu and the rest of his coalition from compromising on anything that would draw Israel further away from Your will for it at this time (Prov. 21:1).

    • Lord, help the coalition to pass the budget without giving in to any political extortion (Prov. 16:8).

    • Anoint Bibi and Finance Minister Smotrich to fight the battle against Israel's extremely high cost of living in a righteous manner by giving them plans that are from You (Job 12:13; Psa. 16:7).

  3. Internal security:

Israel expected that once Ramadan was over terrorist activities against the Jewish State would not stop. This has proven to be true, and it is being exposed that Iran is behind most of this – whether through finances or weapons or the brainwashing of Palestinians.

    • We see that the terror attacks have not slowed down, so we ask You to arise and miraculously scatter Your enemies, particularly those who delight in war (Psa. 68:1, 30b; Isa. 41:10-14).

    • Use the arrogant pride of the Palestinian Muslim terrorists to be their downfall (Prov. 16:18).

    • Shepherd of Israel, guard over all Israelis wherever they live on Your land (Psa. 80:1-2; Jer. 31:10).

    • Lord of hosts – aid the IDF to be an absolute terror to the terrorists (Isa. 41:15-16; Rom. 13:3-4).

    • Thank You for the supernatural success that the IDF has in fighting its foes, and we pray for this to continue and to increase in intensity (Psa. 44:4-8; 68:35; Zech. 10:3b-5).

    • Guard over all of Israel's spies and collaborators among the Palestinians and provide them with all of the accurate actionable intelligence Israel needs to stop attacks and save lives (Job 34:21-22; 42:2).

    • Impart wisdom to every Israeli who is tasked with analyzing this data (Ex. 35:31a; Job 38:36).

    • Shield each soldier in every way – especially from the hate emanating from the enemy (Psa. 3:3-8).

    • Use Messianic Jews and Christians in the IDF to be Your witnesses Lord (Acts 1:8; 2 Tim. 2:2).

    • Increase the internal unrest that is rising against the Palestinian Authority and let the various terror groups fight against and destroy each other (Psa. 70:2; 71:13; 129:5).

    • Uncover every Iranian agent embedded anywhere in Israel or among the Palestinians (Amos 9:2-3).

    • Provide angelic protection over Israel's roads against traffic accidents and terror attacks (Psa. 121:8).

    • Lord, let Israel hear You speak in the Torah portion and have the courage to extend its sovereignty over all of the land west of the Jordan River (Lev. 20:24a).

    • As more Jews make aliyah have the government settle them throughout Your land (Jer. 33:10-14).

  4. External security:

While Iran and its proxies, especially Hizbullah, are the obvious threats to Israel, most Western nations are becoming much more dangerous as they actively oppose Israel, with increasingly strident voices and threats, whenever it tries to fulfill God's will. The two main issues today are Israel possessing its possessions in all of God's land (Obad. 1:17), and its war against terrorists and its other enemies – whether they are inside or outside of its borders.

    • Continue to move Israel to be a nation separated from all other nations (Num. 23:9b) and to be holy, i.e., sanctified, and separated unto You – as You said in the Torah reading (Lev. 20:24b, 26).

    • Grant divine wisdom to Netanyahu, Foreign Minister Eli Cohen and all of Israel's other diplomats when it comes to dealing with the nations – especially China and Russia today (Prov. 4:5-7).

    • Show Your nation when it needs to quit the UN and give it the courage to do so (Psa. 33:10-12).

    • Anoint Israel's UN Ambassador Gilad Erdan as he deals with that anti-Israel institute (Psa. 5:8-9).

    • As most Western nations, including the US, are still trying to appease Iran into giving up its nuclear programs, yet ignoring their other terror activities, open Israel's eyes to see that it will need to deal with this Iranian threat by itself and through trusting in You (Psa. 20:7-9; Isa. 31:1-5).

    • As America is reducing its stockpile of ammunition in Israel to help Ukraine fight Russia, and as it appears that it will not be replaced anytime soon, use this to cut off Israel's dependency on America and cause it to seriously look to You for its defense (Psa. 59:8-9; 94:22; 121:4).

    • Reveal to Israel anything it is not aware of that it needs to know concerning Iran's plots against it, as well as where it's at in its development of nuclear weapons (Job 12:22; Psa. 27:11).

    • Bring the IDF's Iran Command and Israel's other military and political leaders into one accord when it comes to its plans to defend Israel against Iran (Psa. 133:1; 2 Cor. 13:11).

    • Remove all the confidence that the leaders of Iran have in their false god and cause them to become totally confused and depressed and paranoid – leading to major geo-political mistakes (Job 12: 24-25).

    • Then, Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek Your name YHWH. (Psa. 83:16)

    • Drain all finances from Iran and its proxies which are dedicated to anti-Israel activities (Job 21:13).

  5. Aliyah:

As Jew-hatred increases in the West, Jews living in their gilded cages need to wake up to the danger that is lurking outside those cage doors. So far the results of God's releasing of His hunters throughout the West (Jer. 16:16) have been very disappointing to chase His people home, with Western aliyah even slackening off recently. What will He allow next?

    • For Your glory's sake, and with as much mercy as possible, bring Your people home (Isa. 43:5-7).

    • Speak to the Jews in exile that You are doing this because You deeply love them (Jer. 31:3-5).

    • Send Your angels as with Lot to pull Your reluctant people out of today's Sodom (Gen. 19:15-16).

    • Send forth a spirit of adventure upon the younger generation and let them set their sights on coming home to Zion and being like Joshua and Caleb, willing to fight the giants in the land (Num. 14:6-9).

    • Cause such massive numbers of Jews to return that the government must make this one of their top priorities in receiving and settling Your people in Your land (Isa. 43:5-7; Jer. 33:10-14).

    • Let Israel take on a huge expansion in housing, and even use some of the illegal homes which the EU has built for Palestinians in Area C for Your people as they return home (Psa. 83:12; Isa. 65:21).

    • Bring home many Israelis who are today living among the gentiles (Isa. 11:11-12).

    • Keep the gates of Israel open for all whom You see as Jews – and not just those whom Rabbinic Judaism labels as Jewish (Isa. 62:10).

    • Streamline the process of enabling a Jew to become an Israeli citizen (Isa. 60:11; Rev. 3:8a).

    • Wake up the Body of Messiah to see that the restoration of the land of Israel to the people of Israel and the return of the people to the land is setting the stage for all Israel to be saved (Zech. 12:2-10).

    • If there are any genuine prophets in Your Body today, have them speak openly to believers of their responsibility to aid the Jews to return home – as this is for Your holy name's sake (Ezek. 36:23-24).

    • Show the Body that what You are doing today is the only thing in all of Your Word that You said You would do with all of Your heart and soul – planting Your people back in Your land (Jer. 32:41)!

  6. Salvation:

The Torah portion begins with Leviticus 16 – God's instructions on how Israel was to observe Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. These instructions are impossible to follow today as there is no temple or high priest or sacrificial system. Yet it is specifically the Levitical priesthood and sacrificial system that Yeshua has already fulfilled (Lev. 16:10, 21-22a).

    • Lord, use this chapter on Yom Kippur to cause Jews to seek You for how they can be saved and forgiven of their sins today (seek: Psa. 9:10; 22:26; save: Psa. 6:4; 34:18; forgive: Psa. 25:18; 130:4).

    • Let Your people not just accept how the rabbis ignore this following verse, but have them seek You for Your answer: For the life of the flesh is in the blood and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul (Lev. 17:11).

    • God, reveal the truth of how Yeshua has today fulfilled the function of the High Priest as well as the Yom Kippur sacrifice to many of Your people at this time (Heb. 2:17; 7:26-27).

    • Remind all Jews who have been provoked to jealousy by believers that we believers see Yeshua as our atoning sacrifice (Rom. 5:11; 11:11).

    • Lord, strip away all the unbiblical attire which both the Church and the rabbis have clothed You in from the minds and hearts of Jews who desire to know the truth (Gen. 45:1-8; 2 Cor. 11:4).

    • Save the younger generation of Israelis – especially those without hope (Job 7:6; Psa. 130:7-8).

    • Save the younger generation of Orthodox Jews who are uncomfortable with much of what their rabbis teach them today (Psa. 119:97-100).

    • We ask for the salvation of all remaining Holocaust survivors in and outside of Israel (Isa. 61:2b-3).

    • Also, please save many Israeli politicians and their aides; IDF commanders and soldiers in all the various divisions; other security forces including its police; drug users and sex-traffickers; prisoners and prison guards; teachers and professors and students; scientists; high-tech personnel; medical professionals and hospital staff; Israel's ambassadors and diplomats in the nations; Israelis living in the nations; Jews who have yet to return home; unsaved loved ones of Messianic Jew; etc. (Jer. 31:7).

  7. Body of Messiah:

Leviticus 23:2 and 4 declares that what most of the Church calls the Jewish Feasts is in fact the Feast of YHWH. The Hebrew word for "feasts" in these verses is moedim which indicates that God has set aside these specific times to meet with His people, and that includes gentile believers as this verse from Leviticus 16 concerning Yom Kippur explains: This shall be a statute forever to you: that [on this day] you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger [ger – a gentile who has come under the wings of the God of Israel, like Rahab or Ruth] that sojourns among you, for on that day shall atonement be made for you to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before YHWH. (Lev. 16:29-30)

    • Lord, as You promised Yourself a Bride without spot or wrinkle (Eph. 5:27), we ask for You to lift the blindness from Your Body towards what comprises Your complete Word, which includes the Old Testament, (2 Tim. 3:15-16) and who You are referring to when You mention Your chosen nation, i.e., Israel (Deut. 7:6; 14:2; Psa. 33:12; Psa. 105:6, 43; 106:5; 132:13; 135:4; Isa. 41:8-9; 44:1-2).

    • Impart much discernment to the Body to be able to perceive those who pretend to be prophets but are actually wolves in disguise (Matt. 7:15; Acts 20:27-32).

    • Show Your Body, especially in the West, that as their nations have become unfaithful allies of Israel (Ezek. 29:6-7), Your curse rests on those nations (Num. 24:9b), yet You are still seeking for someone to stand in the gap so that You can have mercy in the midst of Your judgment (Ezek. 22:30; Hab. 3:2).

    • From the Torah reading: You shall be holy, separated from the world in order to be separated unto God, for I YHWH your God, am holy. (Lev. 19:2a) Amen.

  8. IFI:

The intensity of the warfare over Israel and over those of us who stand with it in prayer and various other ways, has increased noticeably in recent days. Please continue interceding for us to stand and not falter in the task He has given us (Rom. 12:12; Heb. 12:1-2).

Shabbat shalom and blessings from Zion
