1. Praise awaits You in Zion, O God.

    • I will love You, O LORD, my strength. LORD [YHWH] is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

      Psalms 18:1-3
    • We thank You that this word is as true today as the day it was written by David.

    • We bless You that You are the same - yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

    • How grateful we are that You have answered so many of our prayers already. Therefore, we are encouraged to continue to press in and seek You for Your Kingdom purposes to be worked out here in Israel - unto the ends of the earth.

And your eyes shall see, and you shall say, LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel.

      Malachi 1:5
  2. Israel's water situation continues to be very critical.

    • Ask of LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

      Zechariah 10:1
    • Abba, although we are not in the time of the latter rain yet (around Passover season) we are coming to You and simply asking for rain.

    • Thank You for all the rain You have given us this winter - but Lord we need much more.

    • Please fulfill Your word which says that when You bring the children of Israel back to Your/their land, the land would be very fruitful, to the extent that it will be as the Garden of Eden. Since all this is for Your Holy Name's sake, we boldly ask You to do it.

    • But you, O mountains of Israel, shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to My people Israel; for they are at hand to come...I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit. I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and you shall know that I am LORD.

      Ezekiel 36:8,11
    • They shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. Then the gentiles that are left round about you shall know that I LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

      Ezekiel 36:35-36
    • Lord, although we as a nation do not deserve anything from You, we remember what Your Son said and stand on that:

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

      Matthew 5:45
    • Use this issue of water scarcity to open the eyes of those in Israel who think that giving the Golan Heights to Syria is a good idea. The Golan has a third of all Israel's water sources.

  3. One reason for praying for rain is the increase of Jewish immigrants [olim] returning to the land of their fathers.

    • I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am LORD their God, and will hear them...and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.

      Zechariah 10:6,10b
    • Thank You for the increase in aliyah - the immigration back to Israel of Your people - that we had last year.

    • Continue to bring them home - especially from the West.

      Behold, I will save My people from the east country, and from the west country;

      Zechariah 8:7b
    • Since You said in Zechariah 10:10 that there would not be enough room, we are asking for a huge number of Jews to return this year.

    • Isaiah 60:9 says that many will come back with their silver and gold. May the Jews in the West be among those. Do not allow them to wait until the full rage of the hunters is released (Jeremiah 16:16).

    • Give veteran Israelis a heart to welcome and help the new olim.

    • We ask You to clear out the stones of stumbling from the path of Your people - especially those in the ministry of interior.

Go through, go through the gates; prepare the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

      Isaiah 62:10
    • Again, we boldly ask You to bring the Jews home - for Your Holy Name's sake.

I will sanctify My great name, which was profaned among the gentiles, which you [Israel] have profaned in the midst of them; and the gentiles shall know that I am LORD ...when I shall be sanctified in you [Israel] before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

      Ezekiel 36:23-24
    • Release the Jews from Iran and the other Arab nations to have the freedom to come back.

    • Help Messianic Jews see that they too need to be open to returning - and make the way wide open for them to do that.

The ransomed of LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

      Isaiah 35:10; see 51:11
    • Thank You for raising up Natan Sharansky as the new head of the Jewish Agency. Bless and anoint him for this very important role.

  4. There has been a huge uproar over the execution in Dubai of Mabhouh, a top Hamas terrorist. It was not an assassination as this man boasted of his kidnapping and killing of two Israeli soldiers years ago. Not only that, but if it was the Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency, it was a just cause as he was the main weapons liaison between Hamas and Iran.

    • Lord, the response of the world is so hypocritical, as none of them - in particular Western nations - have not done and would not do the same to a living threat against their people.

All our enemies have opened their mouths against us.

      Lamentations 3:46
    • Whether the Mossad did this or not, send the fear of Israel on Iran and the rest of Israel's enemies.

The Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt: and no man could withstand them; for the fear of them fell upon all people.

      Esther 9:2
    • Because of this fear, let Iran make many stupid mistakes.

Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

      Psalms 129:5
    • Protect the Mossad. If the execution was carried out by them, do not allow those who did it to get caught.

    • Strengthen Prime Minister Netanyahu and the head of Mossad at this time. In fact, if now is an advantageous time to do more exploits like this - do not allow them to hold back.

    • Therefore says the Lord, LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, I will ease Me of My adversaries, and avenge Me of My enemies.

      Isaiah 1:24
  5. We prayed into the Iranian situation in two ways. First, that God would sovereignly deal with this threat to His kingdom purposes in Israel. Next, if God was going to use Israel to deal with Iran, that she would be ready to fulfill all of His counsel.

    • Let God arise. let His enemies be scattered. Let them also that hate Him flee before Him.

      Psalm 68:1; cp. 3:7; 9:19-20; 17:13
    • Continue to shake Iran - politically, spiritually - and if need be, physically.

    • Protect and use the new head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Yukiya Amano, who seems to see Iran's nuclear program as very dangerous.

    • Shine Your light on the true nature of Iran's nuclear program and use that to shake up the nations who are still in denial of this clear and present danger to Western civilization.

    • If Israel needs to attack Iran, give her all the intelligence she needs - to know when, where and how to do it.

    • Anoint all the Israeli leaders in the decision making circle concerning this Persian threat.

    • Give Netanyahu an ability to hear Your clear instructions in this situation.

    • As David defeated Goliath, let Israel deal with Iran in an unconventional way that takes them completely by surprise.

    • Prepare us - here in Israel and wherever we are - for Your answer, because if You do use Israel, there will be dramatic changes in many areas - the global economy being one of them. There will also be rising anti-Semitism and a good possibility of a major war in the Middle East. Yet we trust You to watch over Your word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).

    • Now also many nations [including Iran] are gathered against [Israel], that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion. But they know not the thoughts of LORD, neither do they understand His counsel - for He shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor. Arise, thresh, O daughter of Zion - for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs brass - and you shall beat in pieces many people. And I will consecrate their gain unto LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.

      Micah 4:11-13
    • That is what we want to see as the ultimate end result of Israel dealing with Iran - for You, Lord, to receive all the glory and honor.

    • In the face of Iran's continued threats to destroy Israel, we proclaimed, Thus says LORD, who gives the sun for a light by day, the ordinances of the moon and stars for a light by night, who divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; LORD of hosts is His name: If those ordinances depart from before Me, says LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before Me for ever.  (Jeremiah 31:35-36) Amen!
  6. We finished our time praying for the salvation of Israel.

    • Lord, according to Zechariah 12:10, You save Israel as a nation in a time when the nations are against us - a time of increased pressure and war (12:2-3). Therefore, we ask that You would save many - soon and suddenly.

    • For thus says LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, shout among the chief of the nations: publish, praise, and say, O LORD, save Your people, the remnant of Israel.

      Jeremiah 31:7
    • Abba, please reveal Messiah Yeshua to many medical professionals, Holocaust survivors, leaders in government, industry and the military, rabbis of various persuasions, the settlers - in particular, the settler youth - and the yordi'im, Israelis who are living in the nations.

    • Simon Peter...said, You are the Messiah, Son of the living God. Yeshua answered... Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed it unto you, but My Father who is in heaven.

      Matthew 16:16-17
    • Glorify Yourself in the salvation of Your people (Ezekiel 36:23-28).

Thank you for your faithful prayers.
