1. Shabbat's prophetic portion includes God's promise to David.

    • Before God declares His promise concerning David's Son, He says, Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime, (2 Samuel 7:10)

    • God, You are so faithful to watch over Your promises to both Your people Israel - and to Your people in Messiah Yeshua.

    • We are confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in [us] will finish it in the day of Messiah Yeshua: (Philippians 1:6)

    • We thank You for providing for us and Israel all that we need in these days to glorify You.

  2. Israeli PM Netanyahu canceled plans to attend the Nuclear Security Summit being held in Washington D.C. this coming week, apparently because of a concern that some of the 40-plus nations in attendance would turn this into another anti-Israel fest over her policy of "ambiguity" concerning nuclear weapons. Intelligence Minister Dan Meridor will represent Israel instead of Netanyahu.

    • Abba, please give Israel's leaders wisdom to resist the global pressure to disarm and submit to all sorts of plans that do not line up with Your word.

    • Give courage to Netanyahu and the rest of the governing coalition to know how to steer through the increasing rough waters that Israel will face in the foreseeable future.

    • LORD [YHWH] voids the counsel of the nations, He frustrates the thoughts of the peoples. LORD's counsel stands forever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations.

      Psalms 33:10-11
    • Anoint Meridor to be sharp in his presentation of Israel's case and use him for Your glory.

    • May Iran and her illegal development of nuclear weapons be the major concern of all at this conference. Remove all political correctness and allow these leaders to speak truthfully.

    • Reports are that Turkey and Egypt, Israel's "friends", are going to use this time to push Israel to open herself up to international inspection of her nuclear facilities. Block them from having any success.

The words of [their] mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in [their] heart: [their] words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords.

      Psalms 55:21
    • Make an uproar, O you peoples, and be broken in pieces. Give ear, all you of far nations: gird yourselves, and be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall be brought to nothing; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

      Isaiah 8:9-10

      Amen.

  3. Prime Minister "Bibi" Netanyahu needs the prayers support of the saints. President Obama wants a written answer to a number of unbiblical demands that he has placed on Israel regarding the current "peace" process with the Palestinians and with Syria. So far, thank God, Bibi has not replied.

    • Lord, we hold Bibi into the anointing that You have provided for Israel's Prime Minister at this time. We hold up his hands in this battle and bless him in the name of Messiah Yeshua, King of the Jews and Lord of all!

    • We thank You that so far there has been no capitulation to Obama's unholy demands.

    • Continue to use Foreign Minister Lieberman to speak the truth - even when it is not easy for the rest of the world to hear. Protect and save him.

    • Harden Israel's stance on issues of security and land.

    • Do not allow the enemy to succeed in dividing any more parts of Your land that You have given to Your people (Leviticus 25:23).

    • May Israel's leaders fear offending You more than fearing man.

    • We pray this word for Israel's current government:

There are many devices in a man's heart; But the counsel of LORD, that shall stand.

      Proverbs 19:21
    • We pray for Bibi:

A man's heart devises his way; But LORD directs his steps.

      Proverbs 16:9

The king's heart is in the hand of LORD as the watercourses: He turns it wheresoever He will.

      Proverbs 21:1
  4. Next year, heads of four Israeli organizations - all having to do with Israel's security - are leaving or being replaced: the IDF [Israel's army]; Military intelligence; Shin Bet [internal security]; and the Mossad [international security].

    • Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are His: And He changes the times and the seasons: He removes kings, and sets up kings: He gives wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

      Daniel 2:20-21
    • Lord, since You knew all about this, we ask that You raise up exactly the people whom You have in mind for this time. Prepare and anoint them now.

    • We hold before You Your promises of raising up anointed, courageous leaders for Israel as You restore her to her land in the last days (Isaiah 1:26; Zechariah 9:13; 12:6, etc)

    • Cause to arise military leaders who will look to You - like Joshua and King David did.

    • If all of this is a diversion to catch Iran by surprise, give Israel the wisdom to know what to do and when to do it.

  5. A spy scandal has broken out in Israel. A young lady, working in the IDF's command center, stole thousands of classified documents and leaked them to a young reporter. The IDF says the documents threaten the security of the state. Yet some of Israel's mainstream media sees this as a battle between security and democracy. But the bottom line is that this lady stole something and that is a crime.

    • Help the IDF to recover all the documents. Do not allow them to fall into the wrong hands.

    • Give the IDF wisdom to know whether they need to change their strategic plans because of this theft.

    • Help the IDF to close up this weak link in their security procedures.

    • May Israel's justice system deal with this situation righteously and not in a liberal manner.

    • For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

      Ecclesiastes 12:14
    • Lord, help Israelis see that we are at war and need to deal with life with that in mind. And because of that, we cannot just deal with reality as a nation who is either at peace or secure.

    • Raise up both religious and secular "prophets" to speak truth to Israel.

    • Wake up Israeli youth to the reality of Israel's situation.

    • Convict the young woman and the reporter of their sin of stealing.

    • Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

      Isaiah 5:20-21
  6. This Sunday Israel observes Yom haShoah - Holocaust Remembrance Day.

    • God of all comfort, we ask that You provide all that the Holocaust survivors need in their final days on earth.

    • Especially, we ask that You to open up their eyes and let them gaze on Yeshua.

Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced him: and all families in the land shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.

      Revelation 1:7
    • Thank You for all the Christians You have raised up to minister to them - especially those from Germany.

The sons also of them that afflicted you shall come bending unto you; and all they that despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you, The city of LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

      Isaiah 60:14
    • Help the children of survivors see You in Your capacity as a Loving Father.

    • May the same spirit of the fighters in the Warsaw Ghetto - that we may die but we will fight - permeate this nation, especially the youth, at this time.

  7. We ended by praying again for an increase in aliyah - the immigration of Jews from exile to home. Since the word is so clear that this is God's will, we will pray into this until He does that which He has said.

    • Fear not: for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring My sons from far, and My daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by My name: for I have created him for My glory, I have formed him; I have made him.

      Isaiah 43:5-7
    • We ask that You gather Your people from the ends of the earth - for Your holy name's sake (Ezekiel 36:23-24; 39:27-29).

    • Bring home all remaining Holocaust survivors. Let them see Israel with their own eyes.

    • Release the American Jews to come home now - with their silver and gold (Isaiah 60:9).

    • Renew the efforts of the Jewish Agency and Nefesh b'Nefesh to aid in gathering together Your elect from the ends of the earth. Provide all the finances they need to do this.

    • Bring in multitudes of young people who will settle here and provoke their elders to come home as well.

    • Open wide the doors in Israel to receive all those whom You are calling home - including the Messianic Jews.

Blessings abundantly from Zion,
Shabbat shalom

"Fear not; I [Yeshua] am the first and the last.
I am He that lives, and was dead;
and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen;
and I have the keys of hell and of death."
