And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all you his servants, and you that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns.

Revelation 19:5-6
  1. With the Feast of Sukkot coming to a close, the season for rain begins. Forecasters are saying that this winter will be a dry one, so we began this morning asking the Lord to supply Israel with water.

When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue fails for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together.

    Isaiah 41:17-19
    • We ask that there would be an abundance of water so that the world can witness Your blessing on this Land.

    • May the forecasters be completely shocked and surprised by the amount of rain we get.

    • Let the rain also be a sign to the children of Israel that You are still providing for them.

    • Let Israel see her dependence on You and not on the work of her own hands.

    • We have not been a faithful people, so we ask for Your grace and mercy concerning our water situation.

    • May water come from other sources and not just from the rain. Open up the fountains of the deep and may snow come to the Hermon.

    • Lord, You promised to release water to those who are thirsty - fulfill Your promises in Israel during this rainy season.

  2. Sukkot is one of the feasts in which the Lord commands the children of Israel to come up so that He might meet with them. May the people who came here go away with a longing to be gathered permanently to this Land through making Aliyah.

And say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land.

    Ezekiel 37:21
    • May the seed of Aliyah You have placed in every Jewish heart be watered this year and bring forth great fruit.

    • Remember Your Word Lord, concerning the drawing back of Your People to this Land.

    • Speak directly to the hearts of Your Jewish people and bring them back to this Land You have promised them.

    • Thank You Lord for the increase in Aliyah this year, may it continue to increase next year.

    • My our people see the signs of danger in the nations and be moved to make Aliyah.

    • Transform and quicken the hearts of Your people.

    • Let that age old Jewish longing and yearning for a homeland come forth.

    • Speak to Your Body around the world and cause the support for Aliyah in the church to increase.

    • Make Israel ready for the increase in Aliyah and may this nation be a welcoming place for people to come.

  3. When we pray for Aliyah, we are not praying just for the sake of Aliyah. God has a purpose in drawing His people here.

And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

    Ezekiel 37:22-23

The God of Israel will meet with His people here and they will see His Salvation.

    • In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

      John 7:37

This was declared by Yeshua on the last day of Sukkot (yesterday) and we declare it again over our people that in Yeshua is true life.

    • Thank You Lord that we can see Your purpose and promise to save Your people.

    • Pour out Your Spirit on Israel as a spiritual rain this year.

    • Israel is a barren and thirsty nation, and she is desperate to be watered.

    • Cleanse Your people as You have promised - remove from them their idols.

    • Remove the veil that has been place over the hearts of the Jewish people.

    • Comfort Your people and heal their feeling of rejection.

    • Remove the spiritual pride that rests over Your people and let them see how much they need You.

    • Cause the Body here to have the boldness and sensitivity needed to share Your Word in Israel.

  4. Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government are still in desperate need of prayer. It was reported that Obama, with the help of Ehud Barak (Israel's Defense Minister), sent a letter to Netanyahu promising to do certain things if Israel would only extend the settlement freeze for 60 days. Netanyahu rejected this obvious bribe outright. Today the White House is denying that it sent any letter at all. The Arab League intends to bring the issue of settlements before the UN Security Council. Europe is demanding that the settlements remain frozen. With all the manipulation and pressure coming against this government, it is in constant need of our prayers.

    • He fashions their hearts alike; he considers all their works. There is no king saved by the multitude of a host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. A horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

      Psalm 33:15-19
    • Give to the PM strength and wisdom so that he would not break under the enormous pressure upon him.

    • Hold this government together and use it as a sword of truth to cut through lies.

    • Guide us as a nation that we may see what is truth and what is deception.

    • Remove from us the seduction of seeking the world's approval.

    • Protect our leaders from false "offerings" that are really threats veiled by a smile.

    • Let Netanyahu see that our strength doesn't lie in who our friends are but in who our God is.

    • Bring advisors around Netanyahu who will not allow him to be manipulated, seduced, or pressured.

  5. There have been many mixed messages coming our of the current government. Foreign Minister Liberman gave a very blunt message to the UN General Assembly last week that has been widely criticized by the world. Ehud Barak seems to be actively working with President Obama to help bring certain amounts of pressure on Israel's government. Netanyahu is holding together a coalition that seems to be solid one week and on shaky ground the next. We need unity in this nation that comes from the Lord and a unified message of truth that comes from God himself.

    • Bring forth in this government a unified message that comes from the truth of Your Word.

    • Hold this government together that it may be a tool in Your hands.

    • Thank You for leaders in this government who say they are regularly reading Your Word.

    • Cause Your Word to establish the right message that needs to come forth.

    • May Your Word, however much it is read, transform hearts in this government.

    • Let the divisive voices within the government be marginalized.

    • Take away the authority of those who would undermine Your purposes for this government.

    • Let all "opinions" be silenced by Your Truth.

    • We thank You for raising up this government and we ask that You would use it to fulfill Your Word.

    • May this nation see the need to be united and that divisions among us can be a great enemy.

  6. We can praise the Lord for reports telling us that there has been a setback in one of Iran's nuclear facilities! However, the president of Iran reiterated this week at the UN his intentions concerning Israel. Iran remains a very real threat in the region and an existential threat to Israel. We cannot let up our prayer watch over this situation.

    • He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me. They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay. He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

      Psalm 18:17-19
    • Defend Your people Lord against those who would destroy them!

    • Be our Rock and place of refuge!

    • Hear the words spoken by our enemies Lord and take action.

    • Continue to use any means to confuse and disrupt the plans that were formed against this nation.

    • May Israel continue to be vigilant and ready for what ever is coming.

    • Let our government discern rightly the season and act accordingly.

    • Give us good and accurate intelligence so that correct decisions can be made.

  7. The Israeli Body has seen growth over this last years but we are definitely still in need of prayer. We are a living representation of God's Salvation here and this is something our spiritual enemy hates. We need the Lord's grace to walk difficulties we experience here in the natural and in the spiritual.

    • Don't allow us to become stagnant in our faith.

    • Lead us into true unity we can only find in Yeshua.

    • Fulfill Your purposes You have for the Body here.

    • Protect the leadership here that seems to be under constant attack.

    • Let us not be isolated in our own personal kingdoms or congregations but remind us that we are all part of One Eternal Kingdom.

    • Let the truth of Your Word be spoken out clearly in our congregational meetings this week.
