1. We blessed God for His faithfulness and promises.

    • Yeshua, Lamb of God, worthy is Your name (Rev. 5:5-14).

    • The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runs into it, and is safe.

      Prov. 18:10
    • We bless You that You never change (Mal. 3:6).

    • We affirm Your presence - by Your Spirit - with us. We believe You that when two or three are gathered in Your name, there You are in our midst (Matt. 18:20).

    • Yeshua, we proclaim You as Lord over this meeting and submit to Your leading.

    • The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies. Your people shall be willing in the day of Your power…

      Psa. 110:2-3
  2. A light rain is falling over most of Israel that could last to tomorrow.

    • Abba, we bless You for every drop of rain that You send to Your land.

    • Yet Israel needs much more. Be gracious and bring it.

    • Direct the rain to fall in all the right areas.

    • As You increased the oil in the widow's jar in Elisha's day (2 Kings 4) and multiplied the loaves and fish, so expand that which You have given us naturally - to Your glory.

    • You, O God, sent plentiful rain, whereby You did strengthen Your inheritance, when it was weary.

      Psalms 68:9
    • Abba, the figures for 2010 has shown an increase in aliyah - Jewish immigration. Please provide water for all those whom You are bringing home.

  3. We turned our prayers to Israel's current government.

    • Thank You for raising up Prime Minster Bibi Netanyahu and his coalition at this time.

    • Empower him to state Israel's demands in the current "peace" negotiations.

    • Do not allow him to compromise on the demand that the Palestinians recognize Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people and renounce the "right of return" of their so-called refugees.

    • Continue to harden the heart of the Palestinian leadership so that they refuse to compromise in any area - especially these two essentials.

    • Strengthen the whole government in those areas which are in line with Your will.

    • Remove all policies that are not in line with Your will - or Your timing.

    • Our Father in heaven, may Your name be sanctified and glorified, by Your kingdom coming and Your will being done in earth, as it is in heaven.

      Matt. 6:9-10 paraphrase
    • Create real unity among Bibi's closest advisors. May he hear one voice coming from them.

    • Continue to use Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman to speak politically incorrect truth.

  4. The top security positions in Israel are all being transitioned to new people within the next few months. While this could be a dangerous time, yet God, who raises up and puts down (Dan. 5:21b), is still in control, setting into place His people for His plans.

    • These are the five offices that are getting new men: the Israeli Defense Forces Chief of Staff; Military Intelligence; Mossad (international intelligence and security); Shabak (national security); Chief of Israel's police.

    • Lord, we lift up these changes to You and ask that You oversee all of this.

    • A man's heart devises his way: but the LORD directs his steps.

      Prov. 16:9
    • Protect this nation's security during this transition.

    • Enable all these new leaders to have a good working relationship with one another.

    • Give them an ability to hear those below them who have experience and wisdom.

    • Hedge in or remove Defense Minster Ehud Barak.

    • As we get closer to Your return, continue to move people around so that the right folks are in the right place to make the right decisions.

    • In that day will I make the governors [allufim = "generals" in modern Hebrew] of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

      Zech. 12:6
  5. Good news: Israel finishes 2010 with one of the strongest economies in the world and with an increase of almost 20% in immigration [aliyah] from 2009.

    • Abba, we bless and thank You for these good reports from Your land.

    • We see a connection and so ask that You would continue to guard Israel's economy so that more Jewish exiles can come home and be absorbed into Israeli society.

    • We also believe that the reverse is true, that as more Jews make aliyah, You guard over and bless Israel's economic situation.

    • However it works, we give You the glory!

You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power. For You have created all things, and for Your will they are and were created.

      Rev. 4:11
    • Despite this, Israel has a significant number of people living in poverty. Abba, help this nation to deal mercifully with the poor - who are poor indeed - and to supply their needs.

    • Place on the hearts of the very wealthy families in Israel a way for them to be even more of a blessing to the rest of the nation.

    • If any of the rich are not acting generously, deal with them (James 5:1-6).

    • Do not allow Israel to become proud of its' economic accomplishments.

But remember the LORD your God, for it is He that gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore unto your fathers…

      Deut. 8:18a
    • Lord, continue to draw Your people home from all over the world (Ezek. 36:24).

    • Clear out all of the Jews remaining in the former Soviet Union and the Arab nations.

    • Shake up the comfort zone of the Jews residing in Europe and North America. Help them see it is way past time to flee these areas that are increasingly under Your hand of judgment.

  6. Praying for Israel's security concerns is in line with God's will because He desires for all Israel to be saved. And that means Jews need to be alive to receive His Son, Messiah Yeshua.

    • Lord, we thank You for answering our continual prayer to send confusion and division into the camp of Israel's enemies (Psa. 129:5). We see that wherever we look!

    • Thank You for the division in Fatah, the Palestinian faction of Abbas and for preventing Fatah and Hamas in Gaza to reconcile their deep division.

    • Continue to create confusion in the ranks of Hizbullah and bring out this UN Tribunal report on former Lebanese PM Rafik Hararii's assassination as soon as possible.

    • Reveal to those in the world who still have eyes to see, the real face of Islam and Israel's enemies through radical terror groups like Hizbullah, and Hamas.

    • From this week's prophetic portion:

Thus says the Lord GOD; When I have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and will be sanctified in them in the sight of the nations, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to My servant Jacob. They shall dwell safely therein, build houses, and plant vineyards. They shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them around them. And they shall know that I am the LORD their God.

      Ezek. 28:25-26
  7. As we will enter 2011 tonight, we prayed for God to keep us as intercessors watchful and able to hear His voice. We also prayed for IFI's upcoming Prayer Conference.

    • Lord, You have called us as watchmen on Jerusalem's walls (Isa. 62:6-7). Enable us to see what You are wanting us to see and understand how to pray into these situations.

    • As the world moves deeper into the final darkness that You said would come on the earth, help us to arise and shine in both our prayers and our walk with You (Isa. 60:1-2).

    • Lord Yeshua, teach us how to pray (Luke 11:1).

    • For the prayer conference, we ask that You bring everyone whom You have decreed to be here and keep away all others.

    • Protect us in the hotel and as we travel on Your land - as we intercede and declare Your will over this nation and her people.

    • Prepare both leaders and the congregation to hear Your voice and be lead by Your Spirit.

    • Anoint us to pray in line with Your will for this specific time in history.

    • This is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

      1 John 5:14-15

Regardless of our situations, as those who trust in God through Messiah Yeshua, we can be assured that what Oswald Chambers said is true, "The best is yet to come!"

Shabbat shalom,
The IFI Team

And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new…
It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
I will give unto him that is thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely.
He that overcomes shall inherit all things.
I will be his God, and he shall be My son.

Rev. 21:5-7
