1. We praised God for His goodness and His mercy to us.

    • Lord Yeshua, You said when two or three gather in Your name, there You are in the midst. So we affirm that You are here, by Your Spirit, with us this morning and we bless You.

    • I will sing unto the LORD, for He has triumphed gloriously… The LORD is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation. He is my God; I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt Him.

      Exodus 15:1-2
    • We thank You for choosing us and using us for Your glory.

    • The LORD reigns; let the people tremble. He sits between the cherubims; let the earth be moved. The LORD is great in Zion, and He is high above all the people. Let them praise Your great and awesome name; for it is holy.

      Psalms 99:1-3
  2. The Palestinian Authority had planned for today to be a "Day of Rage" against the US for its veto of last week's UN Security Council resolution condemning all Israeli settlements/cities beyond the pre-1967 armistice line. This would have placed over half a million Israeli citizens in illegal locations - including 300,000 surrounding Jerusalem. Although nothing more has been heard of this "day of rage", still we prayed for Israel's leaders and security forces.

    • Abba, please give Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu backbone and wisdom to know what orders to give in order to deal with any riots or demonstrations today.

    • Empower Benny Gantz, the IDF's Chief of Staff, and the other leaders of Israel's police and security forces, to be able to give clear, effective orders - both today and in days to come.

    • Enable clear communications between all the various security forces.

    • We pray Psalm 129:5 over all demonstrations and riots planned today:

Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

      Psalms 129:5
    • Abba, please block from Israel all the demonic forces that are so often released in violent demon-strations.

    • Help the police, the IDF and Israel's border guards to carry out their duties and protect the innocence, yet deal with whatever force is needed to stop the agents of chaos and death.

    • Especially hinder all the Islamic forces that want to destroy Israel from rioting on the Temple Mount.

    • Behold, He that guards Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

      Psalms 121:4
  3. A heavy rain - of which Israel is in dire need - would also hinder any demonstrations.

    • Have you entered into the treasures of the snow? Or have you seen the treasures of the hail, which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

      Job 38:22-23
    • Abba, snow and hail would be wonderful today. We ask that You would do it!

    • Lord, let it rain - heavy, drenching and cold - in all the right places.

    • God of Israel, You declared that You would create new water sources for Your people - as a witness to who You are (Isaiah 41:17-20). Watch over this promise and do it today and for the rest of Israel's rainy season.

    • Use this water crisis to cause multitudes in this nation to cry out to You (Isaiah 41:17).

    • As with the loaves and fish, we trust You to expand supernaturally that which You have given naturally.

    • We recognize that for many of you who live in the northern hemisphere this seems like crazy prayers - especially with the winter you are having! Please ask the Lord to send some of your wet weather Israel-ward.

    • We thanked God for the rain He has already provided, but Israel still needs much more.

  4. The Israeli Messianic Body needs to be alert and watchful, today and in the unsettling days that the world has moved into.

    • But the end of all things is at hand. Therefore be sober minded, and watch unto prayer.

      1 Peter 4:7
    • Yeshua, You are the Head of the Body. Please impart to our brothers and sisters - especially the leadership - a burden to watch and pray (Mark 13:33).

    • Enable leaders to both pray and lead in prayer.

    • Open the spiritual eyes of us all to be able to see what You are doing in these days so that our prayers might help - and not hinder - Your kingdom purposes on earth.

    • Abba, show IFI how to translate these prayer alerts into Hebrew and have wisdom on how to distribute them here in Israel.

  5. We are very grateful for the Prime Minister God has seen fit to provide for Israel today. While Netanyahu is far from perfect - as we all are - yet we do not see another whom we would rather have in the helm for this nation at this time of ever increasing shakings.

    • Lord, we bless You for Bibi Netanyahu, and we bless him in Yeshua's name.

    • Continue to use him as a prophetic voice to wake up other world leaders to the real dangers of the Middle East situation - especially concerning Iran and Islamic fundamentalism.

    • Turn him - and his family - to Yourself.

Turn us again, O God, and cause Your face to shine; and we shall be saved.

      Psalms 80:3; cp vv. 7,19
    • Provide all Bibi needs to fulfill the position You have placed him in.

    • Protect him from all assassination attempts - both physically and emotionally through various attacks in the media.

    • We declared Numbers 23:23 over him:

Surely there is no enchantment against [Bibi], nor is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of [Bibi] and of Israel, What has God wrought!

  6. Believing that God directed the promotion of Benny Gantz as Israel's new IDF Chief of Staff does not lessen our obligation to keep him surrounded in prayer.

    • We bless You for Benny Gantz.

    • Since You have raised him up (Daniel 2:21; 4:25b; 5:21b), we trust You to give him all of the boldness and wisdom he needs for this position.

    • For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the Judge. He puts down one, and sets up another.

      Psalms 75:6-7
    • Make this verse true in Gantz's life:

Blessed be the LORD my strength, who teaches my hands to war, my fingers to fight. My goodness, my fortress, my high tower, my deliverer, my shield, He in whom I trust, who subdues my people under me.

      Psalms 144:1-2
    • Provide wise counselors for him to plan Israel's defense (Proverbs 11:14; 20:18; 24:6).

    • Unite his family around him; protect them all; and save them all.

  7. This week Iran sent two warships through the Suez Canal to Syria. Israel sees this as a provocation and is keeping a close watch on them. Also this week, it was revealed that Syria is building several new nuclear facilities - secretly. Both these situations need prayer.

    • Lord we thank You for all of the little foxes (Song of Solomon 2:15) You have sent into Iran that are spoiling her vineyard. Might we suggest it is time to release the wolves!

    • We ask that You would do whatever it takes to prevent Iran - or Syria - from obtaining or developing nuclear weapons.

    • Thank You for the division in Iran between the political leaders and the people and between the politicians themselves.

    • Expose Iran's involvement in the current upheavals in the Middle East.

    • Continue to confound them that hate Zion (Psalm 129:5).

    • Give to Israel's security leaders wisdom to know how to deal with the Iranian and Syrian threats (Isaiah 54:16-17).

    • We bless You for the salvation of multitudes in Iran and ask that You start saving Syrians.

    • Anoint believers in Iran both in prayer and in sharing the gospel with their neighbors.

  8. We finished by praying for aliyah - the immigration of Jews from exile to Israel.

    • Abba, there are thousands of Your people living in the nations in the Middle East other than Israel. Please use this current shaking to shake them out and bring them home.

    • Bring home all the remaining Jews in Iran, Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain, Syria, Libya, etc.

    • Empower the Jewish Agency to know how to rescue them.

    • As Birthright and other organizations bring young Jews to Israel - touch hearts and bind them to this land.

You shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed Desolate: but you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah: for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married. For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you: and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.

      Isaiah 62:4-5
    • Remove all stones of stumbling from the path of the returning Jews - especially in Israel's Ministry of Interior (Isaiah 60:10).

    • Speak to Your redeemed ones - the Messianic Jews - that it is now time to come home (Isaiah 34:10; 51:11).

    • Abba, we ask for a huge increase in aliyah for Your holy name's sake.

Fear not: for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back. Bring My sons from far, and My daughters from the ends of the earth. Even every one that is called by My name - for I have created him for My glory; I have formed him; yes, I have made him… This people have I formed for Myself; they shall show forth My praise.

      Isaiah 43:5-7; 21

Again, we express our deep appreciation for your prayers for this nation and those of us who live and labor here for our Lord and Messiah Yeshua.

Todah rabbah, thank you very much, and Shabbat shalom
The IFI team

Yet I have set My king upon My holy hill of Zion.
I will declare the decree: the LORD has said unto Me,
You are My Son. This day have I begotten You.
Ask of Me, and I shall give You the gentiles for Your inheritance,
and the uttermost parts of the earth for Your possession.

Psalms 2:6-8
