1. Our God is an awesome God!

    • We thank You for Your continual goodness to us (Psalm 136:1)

    • We bless You for the gift of the Holy Spirit who is always with us (Ezek. 36:27).

    • We are so grateful that You never change (Mal. 3:6).

    • We proclaim the victory of the cross and the empty tomb.

    • Fear not. I am the First and the Last. I am He that was alive, and was dead, and, behold, I am alive for evermore, and have the keys of hell and of death. Amen.

      Rev. 1:17b-18
  2. The prophetic portion read in the synagogues over the Shabbat during Passover week is Ezekiel 36:37-37:14. This is the Shabbat during which Yeshua lay in the grave. He rose from the dead the next day. And this prophetic portion centers on the vision of the valley of dry bones and God's power to resurrect them! This is a great time to pray for many Jews to be saved.

    • Abba, quicken the truth of Your resurrection power to Your people.

    • Open many eyes so that many Jews will see Yeshua as their Messiah and Lord.

    • Look unto me, and be saved…for I am God, and there is none else.

      Isaiah 45:22

I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications, and they shall look upon [lit: unto] Me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son…

      Zech. 12:10
    • Harvest many of the seeds planted in Jewish hearts during this Passover season.

    • Over this weekend, open the eyes of many in the Church to recognize that You are still the Lamb of God, the Lion of Judah, the resurrected King of Israel, the root and the offspring of David, (Rev. 22:16b)

  3. Israel's Prime Minster, Bibi Netanyahu, is increasingly under pressure to allow the creation of a Palestinian State on the land that God promised hundreds of times to the Jewish people. He is in a no-win situation - yet God can make a way out. Bibi is scheduled to make a major policy speech sometime in the next month - possibly before the US Congress.

    • Lord, we bless and thank You for PM Netanyahu, and we bless him and his family in the name of the resurrected Messiah Yeshua.

    • We thank You for how You have already used him to speak Your truth. Do it again - for Your holy name's sake.

The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: He turns it which ever way He will.

      Prov. 21:1
    • There are many thoughts in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

      Prov. 19:21
    • Please enable Netanyahu to express the reality of the situation: Israel has biblical, historical and legal right to all of the land of Israel; Israel has already compromised to advance peace, yet the Palestinians have not moved at all from their hard-lined stance; that the maximum any Israeli leader could offer is still far from the minimum that any Palestinian leader could accept.

    • Give Netanyahu and his advisors wisdom concerning the place and timing of this speech (Prov. 11:14; 15:22).

    • Protect the prime minister from all foolish counselors and counsel.

    • Lord, may Your Word be exalted! Let Netanyahu declare Your truth regardless of whether the nations listen or not.

    • The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD stands for ever; the thoughts of His heart to all generations.

      Psalms 33:10-11
    • Remove from Bibi any fear of man and place in him instead a healthy dose of the fear of the Lord.

The fear of man brings a snare: but whoever puts his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

      Prov. 29:25
  4. We prayed for believers to be aware of the critical situation Israel is being forced into and to take their place on Jerusalem's walls before Israel's God - who is now also their God.

    • Lord Yeshua, set the trumpet to Your mouth and wake up the believers to the need of intercession at this hour for Your chosen people.

    • The work is great and large, and we are separated upon the wall, one far from another. In what place therefore you hear the sound of the trumpet, gather there unto us. Our God shall fight for us.

      Neh. 4:19-20
    • We thank You for all of our brothers and sisters who are praying for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done - in Israel.

    • Help us to not be timid in our praying concerning Israel - and yet not presumptuous.

    • Help us to press on regardless of what we see or hear.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him:…

      Heb. 11:6a
    • Help us to not be weary in intercession.

I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who shall never hold their peace day nor night. You that make mention of the LORD [i.e., remind Him of His word], keep not silence, and give Him no rest, till He establish, and till He make Jerusalem a praise [unto His holy name] in the earth.

      Isaiah 62:6-7
    • Give us insight into You Word and Your timing so that our prayers are in line with Your will for Israel and Your kingdom at this time in history (1 Chr. 12:32).

  5. There are several real threats planned against Israel in the foreseeable future. The May 15th Third Intifada, a Facebook campaign calling for millions of Arabs to march against Israel's borders; the 2nd Gaza Flotilla, sometime after that, when tens of ships with hundreds of "peace" activists will again try to break Israel's legal sea blockade of Gaza's Hamas terror rulers; and the Middle East Quartet's (the US, EU, UN and Russia) reported threat of recognizing a Palestinian State on the pre-1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital - unless Israel comes up with an acceptable "peace" proposal. Instead of praying against these threats, we prayed for Israel to know how to deal with them.

    • Abba, You brought Israel back and promised to protect her (Jer. 31:10). Do it either supernaturally or by giving Israel's leaders - both political and military - supernatural wisdom concerning this ever tightening snare of the enemy.

    • Empower the IDF head Benny Gantz, and all the other military leaders, to develop surprise plans to derail all these attempts to destroy this nation.

    • We thank You for the new defense weaponry that Israel has recently shown. Help her to develop new methods of crowd control and other non-lethal ways of defending herself against demonically-deceived civilians.

    • Lord of hosts, increase Your angelic protection over this nation at this time.

    • Protect Your borders from any attempts at infiltration or division by the evil one.

    • And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with You to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power. Help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude. O LORD, You are our God; let not man prevail against You.

      2 Chr. 14:11
    • Lord, You said You would curse all who curse Your people! I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses [lit: defames; denigrates; puts down] you… (Gen. 12:3) We remind You of that protective promise.

    • Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers. The snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

      Psalms 124:7-8

We finished by interceding about the very real threat of Hizbullah trying to kill Israelis who are outside of the land at this time. This would be a revenge attack for the assassination of one of their main terrorist leaders a number of years ago. Please pray for the protection of all Israel - wherever they may be and an exposing and foiling of all plans of the enemy.

What a blessing to realize that Yeshua was not only crucified for our sins but He rose again for our justification (Rom. 4:25). May the power of the resurrected God the Son, be with you as you co-labor with Him for His holy name's sake.

Fear not: for I know that you seek Yeshua, who was crucified.
He is not here: for He is risen, as He said.
