1. Great is Your faithfulness.

    • We bless You for Your steadfast love for us and for Israel (Lam. 3:22-23).

    • It is so encouraging to know that You are so dependable (Mal. 3:6).

    • We trust that because You are omniscience, there are no emergencies in heaven.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

      Rev. 22:13
    • Abba, thank You for sending Your Son and Your Spirit and making us Your children.

  2. The head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Martin Dempsey, is in Israel to meet with Israel's leaders about coordinating activities. It is important that he hear what they are seeing and the clear and present danger that a nuclear Iran presents to this nation.

    • Lord, give wisdom to PM Netanyahu, Defense Minister Barak, IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz, and any other Israeli leaders as to how and what to communicate to Dempsey.

    • Open Dempsey ears to really hear what these men are saying.

He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

      Matt. 11:15
    • Give Israel's leaders total unity when talking with him about the dangers Israel is facing.

    • Lord, do not allow Israel's leaders to be bound by US interests - but to make decisions that are both in line with Your will and what is best for this nation at this time.

    • Move upon DM Barak and use him for Your glory during this visit (Prov. 19:21).

    • Enable Dempsey to bring a good report out of Zion.

    • May the warning You give to Egypt in this week's prophetic portion - that they were being judged because they were an unfaithful ally to Israel - be heard in the halls of power in the US government and administration.

All the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel. When [Israel] took hold of you by your hand, you broke, and tore their shoulder. When they leaned upon you, you broke, and made all their loins to shake.

      Ezek. 29:6-7
  3. We prayed into the increasingly dangerous Iran situation. First, we asked God to move sovereignly and deal with that nation's wicked leaders and its dangerous nuclear program.

    • Lord, shake that nation. Bring earthquakes in just the right areas to swallow up Iran's nuclear facilities.

The LORD reigns; let the people tremble. He sits between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

      Psa. 99:1
    • Cause Iran's scientists to make major mistakes.

    • Cause Iran's leaders to make the wrong geopolitical decisions.

    • Because of increasing pressure on the Iranian leadership, bring a spirit of panic on them, and let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. (Psa. 129:5)

    • Abba, watch over this word from almost 3,000 years ago:

Keep not silence, O God. Hold not Your peace, and be not still, O God. For, behold, Your enemies make a loud noise. They that hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and…have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

      Psa. 83:1-4
  4. Both in Biblical and in modern times, God has used Israel as His weapon of war to judge nations (Jer. 51:20). He may choose that method again to thwart Iran's plans. If so, we need to be standing at our posts, praying for Israel to be ready and protected.

    • Lord, we pray for all Israeli leaders who will be responsible to make a decision to strike Iran. Make them like the sons of Issachar, who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do… (1 Chr. 12:32)

    • We pray for them to be strong and courageous.

Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

      Josh. 1:9
    • As with Joshua before Jericho, may You, Yeshua, the Captain of the Lord's armies, give Israel's leaders very specific instructions on how to deal with the enemy (Josh. 5:13-6:5).

    • Enable Israel's military to think out of the box and surprise the enemy.

    • Give Israel both Your methods and Your timing.

And when David enquired of the LORD, he said, Do not go up; but come around behind them… over against the mulberry trees… when you hear the sound…in the tops of the mulberry trees, then arise. for then shall the LORD go out before you, to smite the host of the Philistines.

      2 Sam. 5:23-24
    • Give Israel's intelligence services accurate and up-to-date information concerning what is happening in Iran.

    • Use a quick, massive defeat of Iran's army as a blow against the very foundations of Islam.

    • Prepare this nation for all it will need to deal with on the morning after the attack!

    • Lord, ultimately, we trust in You to protect this nation.

Hear the word of the LORD, O gentiles, and declare it in the nations far off, saying, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep [guard] him, as a shepherd does his flock.

      Jer. 31:10
  5. After praying for Israel's physical water situation - and we bless God that this nation is getting some good rain and snow, although we need a whole lot more - we turned our eyes to Israel's spiritual water situation and asked God for all Israel to be saved. As usual, we prayed for specific groups. Here are some of the folks we prayed for. May Messiah's Spirit direct you as to whom you should pray for.

    • Lord, thank You for the 1000s of young Jews here on the birthright tours. Touch their hearts through Your land and reveal Messiah Yeshua to many (Isa. 62:4-5).

    • Holocaust survivors and their descendants.

    • Terror attack survivors and/or family members.

    • Soldiers in the IDF.

    • Government officials and their office staffs.

    • PM Netanyahu and his family.

    • Israel's gay community (1 Cor. 6:9-11).

    • Medical professionals - especially doctors involved in performing abortions.

    • Schoolchildren. Give them visions about Yeshua (Joel 2:28).

    • Save many Israeli Arab Muslims. Use them provoke many Jews to jealousy (Rom. 11:11).

    • Lord, let the secret believers in this nation know when You want them to come out.

    • Thus says the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, shout among the chief of the nations: publish, praise, and say, LORD, save Your people, the remnant of Israel.

      Jer. 31:7
  6. The Palestinian Israeli 'peace' process is still being shoved down Israel's throat, even though the Palestinians will not talk unless Israel agrees with all of their demands before they talk! No, there was no mistake in that last sentence, but still the world forces Israel to talk and give more 'good-will' gestures and, and, and…

    • Lord enough! End this waste of time, effort and energy on Israel's part to try and please a world that for the most part wants Israel to just disappear.

    • We thank You for continuing to harden PA leader Abbas and all the rest of the Palestinian leaders hearts to not be willing to compromise one iota.

    • Hallelujah! There is still no 'Palestine' on Your land. Abba, keep it that way (Isa. 14:29-32).

    • Strengthen Israel's bond with Your/her land.

    • Increase the settlements and their populations (Ezek. 36:1-15).

    • If a Palestinian unity government between Fatah and Hamas will write 'Finished' over the peace process - then let it come to pass.

    • We want to see You glorified both in and from this land.

And your eyes shall see, and you shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel.

      Mal. 1:5
  7. We ended by praying for IFI's International Prayer Conference here in Jerusalem which starts this coming Monday. We will try to provide you with video updates during the first week of the conference, but not during the week of the prayer tour. [We apologize that the video updates will only be in English.] The next Friday Prayer Alert will come out on February 10th.

    • We ask for Your will to be done during this time (Matt. 6:10).

    • Aid us to pray in line with Your will so that we will have the confidence that You will hear and answer (1 John 5:14:15).

    • Give us unity in the Holy Spirit (Eph. 4:3).

    • Provide divine safety during the conference and on the prayer tour.

    • Bless the Israeli guides who will be with us on the prayer tour.

    • Thank You for the administrative team. Give them an excellent working relationship with both the Dan Jerusalem Hotel and with Isram, the tour company we work with.

    • Help us to get the video updates out daily.

    • Remove all roadblocks from the saints that You have called to be here and prevent anyone who wants to come whom You have called to be elsewhere during this time.

    • Anoint the leadership team - both in leading the prayer times and in preaching Your Word (1 Pet. 4:11).

    • Give divine health and safety to all participants and their families back home.

This week we received word that our brother Johannes Facius was struck down by a major stroke. Decisions need to be made about whether to perform an operation. We prayed for him and his family and ask that you would lift up your voice as well, asking God for mercy and healing.

Thank you and Shabbat shalom
