1. We opened this morning's meeting looking at Psalm 28:1-2

    • Unto You will I cry, O LORD my rock. Be not silent to me, for if You are silent, I become like them that go down into the pit. Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto You, when I lift up my hands toward Your holy oracle.

      Psalms 28:1-2
    • Thank You for answering all prayers that are in line with Your will (1 John 5:14-15).

    • And bless You for not answering prayers that are not in line with Your will!

    • We are so grateful that You have provided a way for us to communicate to You.

    • Call upon Me in the day of trouble. I will deliver You, you shall glorify Me.

      Psalms 50:15
  2. Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu did an in-depth interview with Time magazine. They are planning to show him on the cover with the words, 'The King of Israel', referring to his forming a very large governing coalition recently. There is a danger of this going to the prime minister's head and puffing him up with pride. God would then need to resist him (James 4:6). Yet there are reports that Bibi is very upset by what Time is trying to do - which is to put him in a bad light. So we lifted him up in prayer.

    • Abba, we thank You for Benjamin Netanyahu.

    • Please prevent him from becoming proud.

    • Quicken to him Micah 6:8: He has shown you, O man, what is good, and what the LORD requires of you, but to do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

    • As per Proverbs 21:1, his heart is in Your hands. Turn it even more unto Yourself.

    • Surround Bibi with people who will speak truth to him.

    • We declare that there is a King in Israel and His name is Yeshua (Matthew 27:37)!

  3. This Sunday Israel celebrates Jerusalem Day. Although Jerusalem was set free by Israeli forces on June 7th, Israel honors the day according to the Hebrew calendar. The conquest of Jerusalem by the IDF was a prophetic event. Whether it signaled the end of the times of the gentiles (Luke 21:24), or the beginning of the end - still it remains a sign of His return.

    • The LORD builds up Jerusalem. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.

      Psalms 147:2
    • Lord, continue to expand this city of Yours in all directions.

    • Abba, we reject the division of this city into East and West. Instead, we affirm that, Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together: (Psalms 122:3).

    • Provide the kind of leaders for Jerusalem who will deal with her according to Your Word (Isaiah 1:26).

    • Bless and use Mayor Nir Barkat for Your holy name's sake.

    • Lord, as You declared to King Hezekiah, so declare again today. For I will defend this city to save it for My own sake, and for My servant David's sake. (Isaiah 37:35)

  4. Attacks by Palestinian terrorists have been on the rise. The IDF is very upset that Israel's mainstream media has not been reporting it. Usually, it is only if a Jew is murdered or if a Jew attacks an Arab that the media both here and elsewhere feels it is newsworthy. We prayed for Israel's internal security situation.

    • We thank You for the amazing success that Israel's security forces have had against terrorism - and especially recent attacks.

    • We give You the glory for watching over this nation - just as You promised to do in Your Word (Psalm 121:4; Jeremiah 31:10).

    • Press the media would report the situation here truthfully.

    • Provide protection for all of Israel's 'spies' among the terror groups.

    • Increase the IDF's ability to be at the right place at the right time to protect innocent citizens - both Jew and Arab.

    • Protect the settlers who are in Judea and Samaria because Your Word says so (Jeremiah 31:5; Ezekiel 36:8-12; Zechariah 12:2-3; Amos 9:14-15).

  5. Iran: Western powers think that as long as they can get Iran to talk, that is progress. Actually, the one thing that makes progress during these talks is Iran's nuclear program - the very thing the world wants to see stopped. There are more talks going on now and in the next few weeks. Israel needs to know what to do once these talks end.

    • Since Iran has repeatedly said it will not stop its nuclear program, wake up the world to the real danger of nuclear weapons in the hands of the Ayatollahs.

    • Abba, we would much prefer if You sovereignly pre-empted Iran's efforts.

    • Arise God and shake that nation - physically, politically, religiously.

    • Thus says the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will break the bow of Elam [ancient Persia/ Iran], the chief of their might…I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life, and I will bring evil upon them - My fierce anger… I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them, and I will set My throne in Elam, and will destroy from there the king and the princes…

      Jeremiah 49:35-38
    • If You want to use Israel to deal this blow (Isaiah 41:10-16; Jeremiah 51:20-23), then give to her leaders much wisdom, courage and accurate intelligence.

    • Lord, reveal to the growing Iranian Body of Messiah that their leaders are putting their whole nation under a curse because they continually curse Israel (Genesis 12:3).

  6. The current Syrian situation is difficult to pray into because it appears that whatever the outcome, it will not be good for Israel. President al-Assad has proven himself a mass killer, yet if he is overthrown the radical Muslim Brotherhood will most likely take over, as they are doing in Egypt. On top of this, al-Assad is better for the Syrian Christian minority.

    • Lord, reveal to us how to pray.

    • We want to see Your kingdom come and Your will be done in Syria (Matthew 6:10).

    • Protect and use the true Church for Your glory in Syria today (Matthew 5:13-16).

    • Protect the Kurdish community and send salvation to many.

    • Continue to set Your enemies against one another (Psalm 129:5).

    • If al-Assad's removal will weaken both Iran and Russia's hold on the Middle East, then expedite this with as much mercy as possible.

    • [Damascus] is confounded…for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted… Damascus is waxed feeble, and turns herself to flee, and fear has seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail…[Her] young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, says the LORD of hosts. I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of [her leader].

      Jeremiah 49:23-27
    • Give to Israel's intelligence services exact knowledge of what all the various factions in Syria are planning - especially in relation to this nation (2 Kings 6:8-12).

  7. We ended by praying for the Body of Messiah - in Israel and internationally. A recent BBC global poll found that a majority polled saw Israel as the 3rd most dangerous nation on the planet - right after Iran and North Korea! Only in nations where there is a strong evangelical base, was Israel viewed favorably - with the top three being Nigeria, Kenya and America in that order. Messiah's Body must wake up to how far into the last days we have already traveled.

    • Yeshua, we ask You to give Your Body deep revelation of what You are doing in and through this nation of Israel in preparation for Your soon return (Zechariah 14:1-4).

    • We bless You for all of our brothers and sisters who are standing for Your will to be done in Israel. Multiply them exponentially.

    • I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, who shall never hold their peace day nor night. You that [remind the LORD of His promises], keep not silence, and give Him no rest, until He establish, and until He make Jerusalem a praise [to His name] in the earth.

      Isaiah 62:6-7
    • Thank You for the growing and maturing Body of Messiah here in Israel.

    • Protect and use her for the purposes of Your kingdom.

    • Anything that is not of You in any of our lives, we ask that You clean out.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

      Psalms 51:10
