1. Hodu l'Adonai ki tov, ki leolam chasdo - Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, for His lovingkindness/mercy/everlasting love last forever.

    Psalm 107:1; 118:1; 136:1
    • We are so grateful for Your commitment to Your covenant love to us and this nation.

    • Hallelujah that the Lord our God reigns.

      Revelation 19:6b
    • With all that we see around us, we praise You that You are still the One and Only Sovereign Ruler. YHWH has prepared His throne in the heavens; and His kingdom rules over all. (Psalms 103:19)

    • During this Passover season, we do bless You for the precious blood of the Lamb of God, Yeshua.

    • Thank You for both answering prayers and for not answering prayers that do not line up with Your will and counsel (1 John 5:14-15).

    • Blessed is YHWH out of Zion, who dwells at Jerusalem. Hallelujah!

      Psalms 135:21
  2. Salvation: Monday evening, April 14th, Jews in Israel and in exile, will be celebrating Passover, a feast of YHWH (Leviticus 23:4-5). This feast is foundational not only for Israel as a nation, but also for the Church. On this night Messiah Yeshua, taking unleavened bread and wine, both of which are central to the Passover feast, said that these now also represent His body and blood - broken and poured out for us. This is a perfect time to ask God to remove the veil on the eyes of the Jewish people so that they can also look upon the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29).

    • Thank You Lord, for opening our eyes.

    • We confess that Yeshua is God the Son, our Messiah, Savior and Lord of all (Acts 10:36b).

    • Abba, open up the spiritual eyes of many of Your people who have returned to Your land and let them gaze upon the One who died for them - their true Passover Lamb (1 Corinthians 5:7).

    • Lord, save the unsaved family members of Messianic Jews (Acts 16:31).

    • Yeshua, You said He who receives whomever I send receives Me. And he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. (John 13:20) There are many Israelis who, knowing what we believe, have received us openly and graciously. May they receive You fully during this season.

    • Lord, for some this will be their last Passover. Let them see Your Son - especially Holocaust survivors.

    • God, many of Israel's soldiers and security forces will not be with their families, but guarding over us so that we can celebrate in peace. Touch them with a vision of Your ultimate Passover sacrifice.

    • At Passover may Messianic Jews who have kept their faith hidden - confess Yeshua openly (Luke 12:8).

  3. One of the last things that is said at the Passover seder/meal is 'Next year in Jerusalem'. So aliyah, the return of God's people from exile to Israel, is another very timely topic for prayer.

    • Lord, thank You for an increase in the number of Jews returning already in 2014.

    • Abba, You who scattered, promised also to gather (Jeremiah 31:10). Do it in ever increasing numbers.

    • Wake up Your people living in exile - that it is indeed exile!

    • Lord, while Messianic Jews should rejoice in You wherever they live, make more of them see that they are in exile, singing Your song in a foreign land. How shall we sing YHWH's song in a foreign land? If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget. If I do not remember you, let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth; if I do not prefer Jerusalem above my chief joy. (Psalms 137:4-6)

    • Do not allow any of Your people - Messianic or otherwise -to forget Jerusalem!

    • We ask especially for the Jews in Ukraine and Hungary to see the rise of anti-Semitism in their nations and to flee from the lands of the north (Zechariah 2:6).

    • Open up eyes to the release of the hunters of Jews in many others parts of Europe (Jeremiah 16:16).

    • Do not let the Jews in Western nations - including America - be deceived into thinking that they now have peace and safety (1 Thessalonians 5:3).

    • Abba, make Israelis living in exile super-homesick as they celebrate Passover.

  4. The piece-by-piece 'peace' process is on life-support. God have mercy and let it die! This anti-biblical 'land-for-peace' deal is a stench in His nostrils, as it is based on Israel trading her God-given inheritance for a deceptive 'peace' with intractable enemies. Yet even if real peace was offered, this land is not Israel's to trade. The land shall not be sold forever; for the land is Mine, and you are strangers and pilgrims with Me. (Leviticus 25:23) It is far better to have the world upset with Israel than to have God stand against His people once again. While this 'peace' almost died last week, US Secretary of State John Kerry is trying to keep it alive - with reports of bribing Israel by trading Jonathan Pollard for the release of hundreds of more terrorists. Yet Pollard has more than served jail time for his crime, has confessed his wrongdoings - while statistics show that freed terrorists often return to committing further acts of terror.

    • Lord, You have given Your land to Your people for Your glory (Ezekiel 35:12-13; 36:5, 22-24)!

    • God of Israel, arise and scatter Your enemies (Psalm 17:13; 68:1).

    • Do not let man prevail against You and Your plans (Psalm 9:19-20)

    • Cause Your people to be married to this land and to love the very soil (Isaiah 62:4-5; Psalm 102:14).

    • You see the trap arrogant men are setting for Israel. We plead with You out of Psalm 124: …O may Israel say; Except that it was YHWH who was for us when men rose up against us, then they would have swallowed us up alive, when their wrath was kindled against us…then the proud waters would have gone over our soul. Blessed is YHWH, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul has escaped like a bird out of the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of YHWH, who made the heavens and earth. (Psalms 124:1-8)

    • We proclaimed Isaiah 8:9-10: Associate yourselves, O people, and be broken! Give ear, all from the far places of the earth. Gird yourselves and be broken. Gird yourselves and be broken! Take counsel together, and it shall come to nothing. Speak a word, and it shall not stand; for God is with us. (Isaiah 8:9-10)

    • Concerning any further release of terrorists - block it regardless of what it takes.

    • Especially forbid the release of Israeli-Arab prisoners as this is a direct attack on Israel's sovereignty.

    • May the threats of some government ministers to quit the coalition should Israeli-Arabs be freed be a hedge against this from happening.

    • Make this government come in line with the description of a godly government that Paul gives us: For the rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the bad. Do you desire to be not afraid of the authority? Do good, and you shall have praise from it. For it is a servant of God to you for good. For if you practice evil, be afraid, for it does not bear the sword in vain; for it is a servant of God, a revenger for wrath on him who does evil. (Romans 13:3-4)

    • Abba, set Pollard free - both physically and spiritually. Reveal to him his Messiah.

  5. Obviously, Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu is under tremendous pressure. While he has not made many public statements recently, what he has said has been right on the mark. Yet he is the main target for the enemy's arrows - so we need to continually hold him up in prayer.

    • We do thank You for raising Bibi up to be Israel's leader at this time.

    • Lord, since he is Your chosen vessel to lead this nation at this time, please give to him all the courage, wisdom and strength he needs to stay the course - in line with Your will.

    • Abba, help him to stand against the ungodly pressure from America, the EU, the UN, etc.. Let Your hand be on the Man of Your right hand, on the Son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself. (Psalms 80:17)

    • Let all of Bibi's words and plans be pleasing to You (Psalm 19:13-14).

    • Help him to be a man of integrity and courage.

    • Continue to surround him with wise counselors and remove from him all false counsel.

    • Help him to trust in You. Trust in YHWH with all your heart. Lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

    • Remind him of how quickly his previous government fell when he gave away Hebron (Joel 3:1-2).

    • Impart to Netanyahu that same spirit that was found in Nehemiah when he said, The God of Heaven, He will bless us, and we, His servants, will arise and build. But you have no portion or right or memorial in Jerusalem. (Nehemiah 2:20)

  6. Security is always a concern during the times of God's feasts.

    • Lord, please expose all the satanic plans to kill and destroy.

    • Anoint Israel's security forces to be alert and pro-active to stop any attacks even before they occur.

    • Lord, protect to this nation - both inside and on all her borders (Psalm 121:4; Jeremiah 31:10).

    • Lord, You promised to guard over 'worm Jacob': Do not fear; for I am with you; be not dismayed; for I am your God. I will make you strong. I will help you, and will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness. Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall be as nothing. Those who fight with you shall perish…men warring against you shall be as nothing …For I, YHWH your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Do not fear, worm of Jacob and men of Israel; I will help you, says YHWH, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 41:10-14)

    • We also remind You that You said You would accomplish this by making the IDF a strong army: Behold, I make you a new sharp threshing instrument with teeth; you shall thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shall make the hills like chaff. You shall winnow them, and the wind shall carry them away, and a tempest shall scatter them. And you shall rejoice in YHWH and shall glory in the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 41:15-16)

    • For Your glory - do all You have promised (Psalm 115:1-3).

    • Guard this nation from the curses of Islam that issue forth from the minarets and from the Muslims themselves. YHWH your God would not listen to Balaam, but YHWH your God turned the curse to a blessing to you, because YHWH your God loved you. (Deuteronomy 23:5; cp. Nehemiah 13:2b).

    • You are my king, O God; command victories for Jacob. Through You we will push our enemies; through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me. But You have saved us from our enemies, and have put them to shame, those who hated us. In God we boast all the day long, and praise Your name forever. Selah.

      Psalms 44:4-8
  7. Iran continues to be a threat to Israel and much of the rest of the world. While they speak peace with their mouths, reports have exposed that more Iranians have been executed since Mr. 'Moderate' Rouhani has become President than even under ex-president Ahmadinejad. We continue to intercede in two ways:

    • 1) That God Himself would deal a fatal blow to Iran's 'weapons of mass destruction' programs, as well as to totally overthrow the wicked Shiite leadership that runs that nation (Jeremiah 49:34-38).

    • 2) That God would use Israel as His weapon of war (Jeremiah 51:20) and destroy this threat through an Israeli military strike.

    • While we would prefer the first way - for Him to sovereignly deal with this - modern history seems to lean towards God using little Israel and then sending His heavenly hosts to join in the battle. Either way, since Iran is very close to being able to produce a nuclear weapon, we need to continue to keep this urgent request before the throne of Heaven. Thank you for standing with us in this.

  8. We finished by interceding for the Body of Messiah in Israel.

    • Yeshua, You are building Your Body here - and for that we bless and thank You (Matthew 16:18).

    • Lord, please raise up in Your Body those gifts mentioned in Ephesians 4:8, 11-13: Therefore He says, When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive and gave gifts to men…And truly He gave some to be apostles, and some to be prophets, and some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, for the maturing of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Messiah, until we all come into the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full-grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah;

    • Especially raise up those shepherds after Your heart that You said You would give to Israel when it returns from exile (Jeremiah 3:14-15; 23:3-4).

    • Provide anointed elders with all the authority and discernment to both build and protect Your Body.
