1. Thank you for interceding for Israel as it held its national elections this past week. Our prayers were heard and answered in a most wonderful way - and for that we bless and thank God. So we started with much gratitude and praise in our hearts today.

    • Hallelujah, the Lord our God the Almighty reigns (Revelation 19:6b).

    • Lord, You are in ultimate control and we thank You and rest in You (Psalm 103:19).

    • We find stability in our life and faith because You said, I am YHWH, I change not. Because of this you sons of Jacob are not destroyed. (Malachi 3:6)

    • Thank You for bringing the counsel of the nations to nothing in this election (Psalm 33:10-11)!

    • We give thanks to You YHWH, for You are good; Your covenant-love endures forever (Psalm 118:1).

  2. With the election over, we now need to focus our prayers on the building of Israel's next coalition government. Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu will be tasked with this job as his Likud party won the election in a very convincing manner - a specific answer to our prayers! Israel needs a government that will be able to govern, and Israel needs a government through whom God will be glorified.

    • We bless You for the election results which confounded the polls, the left-wing media and most of the nations in the West.

    • Now God, we ask for a government that will bring You the glory. Not to us, O YHWH, not to us, but to Your name give glory, for Your mercy and Your truth's sake. Why should the nations say, Where now is their God? But our God is in Heaven; He has done whatever He has pleased. (Psalms 115:1-3)

    • We proclaim You Yeshua - not Bibi - as Israel's King, the King of the Jews (Matthew 2:2; 27:37).

    • We thank You for giving Netanyahu an opportunity to lead this nation again.

    • Please impart to him much wisdom on how to form a government which pleases You (1 Kings 3:9).

    • God, we ask for another miracle. Give us a coalition that will govern for its full four year term.

    • Raise up a coalition united in purpose.

    • Raise up a Romans 13 type government, that will protect the innocent and wage war on the wicked, one that is clear on discerning good from evil, right from wrong (Isaiah 5:20-23).

    • Lord, remind Bibi of who he is (Genesis 2:7; Ecclesiastes 3:20) and who You are (Deuteronomy 33:27), thus preventing him from walking in pride (Daniel 4:37).

    • Protect him and his family from any and all threats (Psalm 121:4).

  3. As soon as the election result was known - that many Israelis said yes to Bibi and no to Obama, the UN, the EU, the mainstream media, etc. - the attacks on Netanyahu increased. He, and his policies, were attack before the elections. Now the sound and fury of these assaults has only increased.

    • Lord, we Israelis proclaim over our leader, No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, [we] condemn. (Isaiah 54:17a)

    • Use this onslaught to fulfill Your promise in Ezekiel 37:15-28 to make us united on Your mountains and ultimately, to save us under the kingship of Messiah Yeshua.

    • God, deal with the hypocrisy of many democratic nations who are furious at the result of Israel's democratic elections. Like You did to Daniel's lions, shut their mouths (Daniel 6:22)!

    • We thank You that Your people were not manipulated by the media (Numbers 23:23).

    • Anoint Netanyahu's responses to the lies being told of what he said and did not say, especially about the so-called 'peace' process.

    • Let Your hand be on the Man of Your right hand, on the Son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself.

      Psalms 80:17
    • Give to Your intercessors and watchmen, the spirit of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, [that we might] know what Israel ought to do… (1 Chronicles 12:32b)

  4. We specifically prayed for the right people to be appointed to the top four ministries of Israel's government - Defense, Finance, Foreign and Interior.

    • God, may Your chosen vessels fill each of these places (Daniel 4:25b).

    • Lord, help Bibi to straighten out many of his unhealthy personal relationships with other politicians.

    • Abba, humble Yair Lapid to get things right with Bibi, and be able to be a part of the next government.

    • Lord, we ask that Moshe Ya'alon remain as Israel's Defense Minister.

    • Father, deal with the ultra-Orthodox Shas party, especially their leader A. Deri.

    • If possible, keep Deri out of the government, in particular, from heading up the Interior Ministry.

    • If Moshe Kahlon becomes Finance Minister, make his relationship with Netanyahu excellent.

    • Give Bibi wise counselors to lean upon in the formation of this new government (Proverbs 11:14).

    • Raise up Your choice for our next Foreign Minister.

  5. Iran and the P5+1 nations are aiming to close a deal on the basics of their negotiations on Iran's nuclear program by next week, March 24th. Leaks of what is being proposed are totally unacceptable to Israel and many other Middle East Arab nations. The deal will leave Iran as a 'nuclear-threshold' state with all limits taken away in a decade. We continue to pray in to this very real threat to Israel.

    • Lord, as You once did, overturn the tables again in the midst of their meetings (John 2:15).

    • God, show us if we are missing something that You want us to pray about concerning Iran.

    • Thank You for the French having real issues with this current deal. Continue to strengthen their stance.

    • Lord, wake up the other nations as well - the US, UK, Russia, China and Germany.

    • Abba, remove the fog from the minds of many world leaders and in the media, and help them to believe what the Iranian leaders are constantly saying.

    • Pressure Iran to overplay its hand and come up with more ridiculous demands.

    • YHWH brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He breaks the plans of the people. The counsel of YHWH stands forever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations.

      Psalms 33:10-11
    • Help the new Israeli government to know what to do in the event of the P5+1 agreeing to a nuclear threshold Iranian Shiite Republic with all sanctions removed.

    • Whatever You mean by this, we ask that You would indeed 'break the bow of Elam' (Jeremiah 49:35).

    • We bless You for the reports of huge numbers of Iranians being saved. Open their eyes to the curse their government is placing on their nation - by cursing Your nation Israel (Genesis 12:3a; Numbers 24:9b).

  6. Israel's borders are becoming a security nightmare. Hizbullah is along the Lebanese and Syrian borders, along with Iranian agents. Hamas is on our Gaza border and ISIS is threatening Jordan, Egypt and Israel on those borders.

    • Your eyes shall see, and you shall say, YHWH will be magnified on Israel's border.

      Malachi 1:5
    • Lord God Almighty, we pray for Your active protection against Your enemies who are trying to wipe Your people off the map (Psalm 83:1-4)!

    • Abba, protect Jordan from ISIS and Iran.

    • Continue to help the IDF and Egypt and Jordan's armies to work together against their common enemy.

    • Expose all tunnels into Israel - from Gaza or from Lebanon.

    • Use Syria as a trap for the destruction of Hizbullah.

    • Expose all the plans of Israel's enemies and help the IDF to cut them off.

    • Let them be humbled and put to shame, those who seek after my soul; let them be turned back and be brought to shame, those who plot evil to me…Let destruction come upon him suddenly, and let his net which he has concealed catch him, let him fall in it, into destruction.

      Psalms 35:4, 8
    • Continue to allow Israel's enemies fight one another (Psalm 129:5).

    • Lord, out of the chaos that is swallowing the Middle East, birth a Kurdistan and bring multitudes of our enemies into our family through Messiah Yeshua.

    • The [Middle East] was without form and void. And darkness was on [its] face…And the Spirit of God moved…and God said, Let there be light - and there was light.

      Genesis 1:2-3 paraphrased

      Amen.

  7. With Netanyahu winning, we already see an increase in pressure from the nations to get back to the negotiating table and create a 'Palestine'. We also expect to see an increase in terrorist attacks inside Israel to pressure the Jews to just leave. Since neither one of those things will happen, we need to continue our prayers for Israel's internal security and against the creation of a 'Palestine'.

    • Lord, expose all terrorist plots.

    • Aid Israel to cut off all attempts to incite a new intifada - Palestinian uprising.

    • God, how could the Palestinian Authority just openly dedicate a square to one of the worst terrorists in recent history, a women who helped kill over 35 Israelis, including schoolchildren, and the world remain deaf, dumb and blind?

    • Lord, arise. Deal with our wicked foes, and remove the blinders from Western leaders.

    • Release Israel's security forces to have all the freedom they need to protect the innocent.

    • We bless You for the election results which show us that Israelis are having their eyes open to the truth that there is no 'peace-partner' on the Palestinian side.

    • Abba, we take a stand against any and all land-swaps that involve Your land which You have given to Your people for Your glory.

    • O YHWH, You have been gracious to Your land; You have brought back the captivity of Jacob… Surely His salvation is near those that fear Him, so that glory may dwell in our land.

      Psalms 85:1, 9
    • Watch over Jerusalem, Your holy city, this weekend.

  8. This evening starts the new biblical year with the month of Nissan. We ended by asking God to make this a year of salvation for many in the house of Israel. Please pray specifically for either groups or people that you know and let's believe together that the Body of Messiah in Israel will at least double this next year.

Again, we bless you and thank you for standing with Israel and with us.
