1. We started by reading some verses from Psalm 21.

    • The king shall rejoice in Your strength, O YHWH; and in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! …His glory is great in Your salvation; honor and majesty You have laid on him. For You have made him most blessed forever; …For the king trusts in YHWH, and in the mercy of the Most High; he shall not be moved.

      from Psalms 21:1-7
    • Lord Yeshua, we declare You our Risen Redeemer and Savior, Messiah of Israel and King of Kings.

    • We confess that You have all authority over the earth (Matthew 28:18).

    • Blessed Creator, thank You for sustaining and protecting us.

    • What a privilege to be able to come boldly into Your throne room through Messiah (Hebrews 4:16).

    • We praise You for being so faithful to watch over Your promises (Jeremiah 1:12).

    • Lord, what joy that as we read the Book of Esther during this Purim holiday, we are encouraged to see that You are there - even when behind the scenes - to protect Your people and to glorify Yourself.

  2. There was an attempted stabbing against IDF soldiers in Hebron this week, in which one soldier shot the terrorist when he was apparently subdued and on the ground. The IDF is investigating whether what happened was a criminal act or not, yet even before the facts are known, Palestinians are spreading this - blasting Israel for killing them for no reason. We prayed for the truth to come out, and for the soldiers who are protecting this nation.

    • Thank You for Israel willing to hold itself to a godly standard.

    • Yet protect Israel from being more merciful than You when it comes to justice (Ecclesiastes 8:11).

    • Lord, may the truth of this situation be revealed (John 3:21).

    • We bless these IDF soldiers who impose their lives between the innocent and the terrorists.

    • Protect and anoint them with alertness, and discernment to separate the innocent from the wicked.

    • Prevent this from making these guardians of Israel hesitant in dealing with terror (Romans 13:3-4).

    • Quench all demonstrations and rioting over this incident this weekend in Israel.

    • Ultimately, we recognize that if this terrorist had not tried to kill a Jew - he would still be alive today. May that foundational truth be recognized and sink in.

  3. The UN's so-called Human Rights Commission was at it again - bashing Israel instead of dealing with real human rights violations in the world. This group has on its official agenda to deal with Israel every time it meets. This past week it passed several ridiculous anti-Israel resolutions, including a demand for Israel to hand back the Golan Heights to Syria. And exactly to whom do they want us to hand it back? To Assad - the mass murderer of Syrians? Maybe to the Islamic State - the mass murderers of all who are not Islamic State? Or could it be to Russian President Putin? They also are compiling a list of all Israeli companies in Judea, Samaria, East Jerusalem and the Golan, to present to UN member nations - telling them to boycott all of them.

    • Lord Yeshua, give us more wisdom and revelation of the days in which we are living, so that our prayers are in line with Your will (Matthew 6:9-10; 1 John 5:14-15).

    • Are we in those days when Numbers 23:9 will come fully to pass: Behold, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be counted among the nations. (Numbers 23:9)

    • May Israel not compromise in anyway with the UNHRC which is so obviously satanically inspired.

    • Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness… who are wise in their own eyes… who justify the wicked for a bribe, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

      Isaiah 5:20-23
    • Abba, this is the Purim season, therefore overthrow these evil edicts as You did with Haman.

    • Lord, as Israelis, we condemn these demonic tongues that are raised up against our nation (Isaiah 54:17).

    • Yet we ask for mercy on those in these nations who are innocent of bashing Israel (Habakkuk 3:2).

  4. We interceded next for how Israel should respond.

    • We thank You for blessing all those companies that are in the "liberated territories" of Israel - the post- 1967 Six Day war areas that You returned to us almost 50 years ago (Ezekiel 36:8; Luke 21:24).

    • Raise up some courageous Palestinian voices against these boycott moves, as they are the main ones to lose jobs, livelihoods and see their children just become more radicalized.

    • Allow PM Bibi Netanyahu and Israeli UN Ambassador Danny Dannon to receive divine knowledge from You on how to respond to these evil edicts.

    • Enable there to be a unified message from Israel's ambassadors in the nations to these attacks.

    • Increase Israel's social media warriors' skills to deal with the constant attacks from that arena.

    • Awaken the Church to warn their nations that You proclaimed that in the day of Israel's restoration, The nation and kingdom that will not serve you will perish. Yes, those nations will be completely wasted. (Isaiah 60:12)

  5. IFI's mandate is to intercede for Israel and the Church. While we do not pray for nations - except when what they do impacts God's plans for Israel - we do pray for the Church in the nations to stand in the gap for its nation and that nation's relationship with Israel and the Jewish people.

    • Lord, wake up the Western Church from its slumber (1 Thessalonians 5:7-8). And since that will take resurrection power, this is a good weekend to ask You for it. He is not here, but has risen. (Luke 24:6a)

    • Help us to know when we are. But of the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that I write. For you… [know] that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night. For when they say, Peace and safety! - then sudden destruction comes on them…But you are not in darkness, that the Day overtake you like a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night, or of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep as the rest do, but let us watch and be sober. (1 Thessalonians 5:1-6)

    • Bring Your Body back to Your complete Word - from Genesis to Revelation.

    • Challenge Your Body to truly believe what the New Testament says about the Old! …from a child you have known the Holy Scriptures [in historical context - the Old Testament scriptures], which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith in Messiah Yeshua. All Scripture [the Old Testament] is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine… (2 Timothy 3:15-16)

    • Raise up Berean-style believers that will compare everything said to Your Word (Acts 17:10-12).

    • Lord, while we understand that truth is falling in the world's streets - yet to see it falling in the Church is heartbreaking. Raise up Your Spirit against this blasphemous travesty (Isaiah 59:14-19).

    • Aid Your children to whom You are speaking that now is the time to flee from the spirit of Babylon that is infiltrating much of the Western Church (Jeremiah 50:28; 51:6; Revelation 18:1-5).

    • Lord, remove all false shepherds over Your flock and gift Your flock with shepherds after Your own heart (Jeremiah 3:15; 23:3-4; Ephesians 4:8-16).

    • For believers standing in God's complete truth, we prayed, May YHWH hear you in the day of trouble, the name of the God of Jacob set you on high, send you help from the sanctuary, and uphold you out of Zion. (Psalms 20:1-2) Amen.

  6. The way Purim is celebrated in Israel, especially among the secular majority, is another sign of how much this nation - prophesied to return in unbelief - needs to have the veil lifted from their spiritual eyes, look unto the One whom they have pierced and be saved (Zechariah 12:10).

    • O YHWH, save Your people, the remnant of Israel.

      Jeremiah 31:7b
    • Lord, especially touch during this season: Israeli rabbis of all sects; Talmudic students; Holocaust survivors; teenagers; IDF soldiers; terror attack survivors; single adults; the gay community; the settlers; liberal politicians; teachers in all grades and universities; professional athletes, etc.

    • Strip away all rabbinic teachings that hinder Your people from studying Your Word for themselves.

    • Lamb of God, reveal Yourself sovereignly to many in this nation as we approach Passover.

    • Help the Israeli Messianic Body to be "salt" and "light" to this nation (Matthew 5:13-16).

    • Remove all fears from the Messianic Body that hinders this from being answered (Proverbs 29:25).

    • Use this weekend of the remembrance of the crucifixion and celebration of the resurrection to provoke many Jews worldwide to jealousy (Romans 11:11).

  7. Aliyah, the immigration of Jews from exile to Israel, was our next prayer burden.

    • Lord, do not allow the Jewish community in Belgium to hide from the darkness that is overtaking their position in exile. Bring them home - with all of their silver and gold - as soon as possible (Isaiah 60:9).

    • Miraculously match returning Jews with jobs appropriate for them (Ezekiel 36:8-12).

    • Abba, continue to tear apart the nest of the Jews in the EU.

    • Lord, wake up the Jews in Turkey to see the bloody handwriting on their walls.

    • Release the Persian Jewish community in Iran from their prison, and bring them home.

    • Thank You for the Yemenite Jews who were able to escape this week. Settle them in Zion.

    • Open wide the doors for all types of Jews to return, from secular to Reform to Messianic (Isaiah 60:10).

    • Lord, speak to all Israelis who are living in exile, that they can return and celebrate Passover "this year in Jerusalem"! (Psalm 137:5-6).

    • May one of the results of the 2016 US Presidential elections be an increase in American aliyah.

    • Thus says YHWH of Hosts: Behold, I will save My people from the east country, and from the west. I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They shall be My people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

      Zechariah 8:7-8
  8. We prayed specifically for Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu - as he is the one whom God has raised up to rule this people in Zion at this time.

    • We thank You for Bibi and how You have used him in the past.

    • Continue to keep Your hand upon him and use him both now and in the days to come (Psalm 80:17).

    • Bless You for aiding him to rebuke the evil statements of the ultra-Orthodox against Reform Jewry.

    • Thank You for his recent wisdom in not going to America during the AIPAC convention.

    • Surround him with wise, godly advisors (Proverbs 11:14; 15:22; 20:18; 24:6).

    • Aid all Messianic Jews - whether in Israel or in exile - to stand in the gap for Israel's current leader.

    • As Bibi has been raised up for just a time like this, protect and use him for Your glory (Esther 4:14)

    • Lord, may these words from this Shabbat's prophetic portion challenge Bibi's heart: Do not let the wise glory in his wisdom, nor let the mighty glory in his might; do not let the rich glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am YHWH, doing kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth; for in these I delight, says YHWH. (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

    • May he also take these admonitions to heart: Trust in YHWH with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Chuck's tour in Germany with IFI-Germany was very well received. We thank you who have stood with us in prayer during this time. In meetings in churches and prayer groups it was obvious that in these uncertain and chaotic times, there is a real desire and need for biblical truth. So IFI-Germany produced five short interview-videos with Chuck (English with German translation), dealing with the following:

We continue to be blessed and encouraged by knowing that our brothers and sisters in the nations are standing before God for His land and His people. While we know that many of you do not do this just to be blessed, yet "I will bless them that bless you…" is still a promise from our God. Therefore, may an increase of His blessings be your experience - both now and in the future.

Shabbat shalom
