Today is the final day of the Passover/Unleavened Bread Feast. Israel treats this day as a Shabbat and so with no public transportation available, we canceled today's Friday prayer meeting. Yet we have other prayer meetings several times each week, so some of the following prayer points are from these meetings.

  1. The 7th day of Passover is viewed by the Rabbis as when the children of Israel escaped Egypt's armies by passing through the Red Sea. Whether historically accurate or not, there is much to praise God for in this historic supernatural event (Exodus 14-15).

    • Lord, we bless and thank You for the miraculous salvation of the children of Israel at that time.

    • We stand amazed that You used the children of Israel's God-ordained entrapment to entice Pharaoh to try and destroy them – so that the Egyptians might know You to be God. I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and he shall follow after them, and I will be glorified in Pharaoh and his host – for the Egyptians will know that I am YHWH. (Exodus 14:4)

    • Abba, this brings us much confidence in prayer today, as we so often see Israel seemingly trapped by the nations – and yet You are totally in control (Psalm 103:19; Micah 4:11-13).

    • Praise You God that there are never any emergencies in heaven (Psalm 2:1-6; Matthew 6:8).

    • Lord, while it does not sit well with our humanistic tendencies, we confess that You raised up Pharaoh so that through him You could show the world Your glory and sovereignty (Romans 9:16-21).

    • We take great comfort in the revealed truth that You have created us, as well as this nation of Israel, to be vessels so that Your mercy can be displayed openly (Romans 9:21-24). Thank You, Abba Father.

    • I will sing unto YHWH, for He has triumphed gloriously, the horse and his rider He has thrown into the sea. YHWH is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will prepare Him a habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt Him. Exodus 15:1b-2
    • YHWH is a Man of war: YHWH is His name. Exodus 15:3; cp. Malachi 3:6; Revelation 19:11-16
    • Who is like You, YHWH, among the gods? Who is like You – glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? Exodus 15:11
  2. We are very thankful that there have been no successful terror attacks over Passover, although not from a lack of trying. This is a direct answer to prayer. Let's continue to cover this nation's security, both internally and externally, with our intercession.

    • Lord, we trust You to watch over Your regathered nation (Psalm 18:2-3; 20:7; 121:4; Jeremiah 31:10).

    • Fear not; for I am with you. Be not dismayed; for I am Your God. I will strengthen [and] help you. I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness. Behold, all that were incensed against you shall be ashamed and confounded…and they that strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them, and not find them…They that war against you shall be as nothing…For I YHWH your God will hold your right hand, saying unto you, Fear not; I will help you. Fear not, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel, I will help you, says YHWH, Your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. Isaiah 41:10-14
    • Lord, aid Israel's security forces to be alert and have an ability to discern the evil from the innocent.

    • Enable there to be clear communications between the commanders and the soldiers in the field.

    • Help Israel to refine its rules of engagement, so that the end result is more in line with Your will and Your word – and not in line with the humanistic spirit of the age.

    • Because sentence against an evil work is not executed quickly, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Ecclesiastes 8:11; cp. Romans 13:3-4
    • Thank You for giving Israel's military industry the wisdom to develop new weapons systems and game-changing weapons.

    • Abba, give them more insight to perfect the terror-tunnel detection system that has been developed.

    • Thank You for the Iron Dome, the Iron Drone and all the anti-missile systems that Israel now possesses.

    • Use Israel's Air Force and its Navy to defend this nation from both air and sea attacks.

    • Teach Israel's spies and collaborators to tell the difference between vital intelligence information and disinformation or misinformation (Hebrews 5:14).

    • And quicken those responsible in Israel that when they receive this intelligence, that they know exactly what to do with it and with whom to share it (1 Kings 3:9-12).

    • We praise You for fulfilling Your Word in Ezekiel 37:10-12. You have resurrected the nation of Israel from the graves of the Holocaust, brought it back to Your land, and made it an exceeding great army.

  3. The statement by PM Bibi Netanyahu, that the Golan will remain forever in Israel's hands, has stirred up a hornets nest – in the UN, the EU, the Arab League and more. Bibi needs prayer support to keep him stubbornly committed to this declaration which is 100% in line with God's will.

    • I will bring Israel again to his habitation, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan [today's Golan], and his soul shall be satisfied upon Mount Ephraim and Gilead [today's northern Jordan – still to come]. In those days…says YHWH, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for… and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve. Jeremiah 50:19-20; cp. Romans 11:26
    • Lord, we thank and bless You for imparting courage to Netanyahu to speak truth – especially when it is out of synch with political correctness (1 Corinthians 20-21).

    • You have often led us to pray this verse over Bibi, so we again ask You, Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, upon the son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself. (Psalms 80:17)

    • Raise up the Aarons, the Hurs and the Joshuas whom Israel's prime minister needs at this time.

    • Surround him with godly counsel and separate him from all counsel that is not in line with Your will (Psalm 1:1; 64:2; Proverbs 11:14; 15:22).

    • Turn his heart in the direction that is in total alignment with Your will for Israel today (Proverbs 21:1).

    • Concerning the outrage of the world against the Golan being Israel's forever, we remind You of Psalm 33:10-11: YHWH brings the counsel of the nations to nothing: He makes the plans of the people of none effect. YHWH's counsel stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.

  4. US President Obama still has nine plus months in office. He has already done such harm to the US-Israel relationship that a majority of Israelis believe whoever the next American President will be, it will have to be better than him. While we are not totally sure about that, we do pray for God to hedge in the Obama administration from doing even more harm to Israel, and the US-Israel relationship.

    • Lord, according to Your Word, You have raised up Obama to be America's leader at this time (Psalm 103:19; Daniel 2:21; 4:17b, 25b). So do all that is in Your heart with and through him – for Your glory.

    • The ten horns you saw upon the beast [Anti-Christ] shall hate the whore, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire, for God has put in their hearts to fulfill His will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. Revelation 17:16-17
    • Abba, show us how to pray – for Israel, America and all the other nations where we are living today.

    • Lord, You have said over and over in Your Word that You judge the nations according to how they treat Israel. Wake up more believers to understand this and to stand in the gap for their nation's relationship to Your nation (Ezekiel 22:30-31; Zechariah 2:8).

    • Prevent Israel's current government from making ungodly agreements with America or any other nation.

    • Block Obama and US secretary of State Kerry from pressuring Israel into allowing the creation of a "Palestine" on Your land that You gave to Your people – for Your glory (Ezekiel 35-36; Malachi 1:5).

    • For their strong stance for Israel, bless and use the US Congress for Your glory.

    • Lord Yeshua, where is the voice of most of the American Church in the face of Obama's dangerous actions and statements against Israel? Where are the voices of most Western Churches? His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark… (Isaiah 56:10)

    • Obama does not take You by surprise, so please guide Israel's leaders very precisely (Proverbs 16:1, 9).

  5. We trust that because many believers prayed in line with His will (1 John 5:14-15) – He answered our prayers and gave a revelation of the true Lamb of God to many Jews during this season.

    • Lord Yeshua, in faith in Your desire to save, we thank You for all the Jews who either came into Your kingdom this past week – or who were drawn that much closer to You (Jeremiah 31:3).

    • Lord, help them to grow by giving them a deep hunger to feed upon Your Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

    • Open [up their] eyes, that [they] may behold wondrous things out of Your law. Psalms 119:18
    • Place our new brothers and sister in solid fellowships that will encourage them to press on with You. … work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. (Philippians 2:12b-13)

    • Messiah Yeshua, quickly enable them to see You as both God the Son and the Son of Man. God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (1 Timothy 3:16b)

    • Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them. …keep on being filled with the Spirit. (Ephesians 5:18)

  6. Again, because we, and many others, prayed, we believe that many Jews in exile are planning on coming home to Israel. Aliyah is a very definitive prophetic event which has been revealed in His Word numerous times. And since it is specifically done so that God may be glorified, this is an issue which we keep on our prayer lists.

    • Fear not: for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back. Bring My sons from far, and My daughters from the ends of the earth - even every one that is called by My name - for I have created him for My glory, I have formed him; yes, I have made him. Isaiah 43:5-7; cp. Ezekiel 36:23-24; Zechariah 8:7-8
    • Lord, stir up the younger generation to see that their future is in Israel – and not among the nations.

    • Move upon all those that visit this land and marry them to it (Isaiah 62:4-5).

    • Remove all excuses from Messianic Jews as to why they need to remain in exile – and confront each of them with the need of setting their sights on Zion (Psalm 137:1-6; Jeremiah 50:4-5).

    • Bless those Messianic believers whom You are truly calling to remain in exile, yet help them to hear when You tell them that their sojourn in that foreign land is over.

    • Therefore the redeemed of YHWH shall return, and come with singing unto Zion… Isaiah 51:11a
    • Lord Yeshua, make the non-Jews in Your Body aware of their obligation to carry Your people home (Isaiah 49:22).

    • Make them aware of their need to invest finances in the aliyah as well (Isaiah 60:5-6, 10-11).

  7. IFI-Germany's annual prayer conference begins in the middle of next week and runs through the weekend. IFI Chairman Eliyahu B.H. and IFI adviser and Israeli Pastor Ofer A., join the IFI-Germany team lead by Heinz-Jurgen H., to teach on Israel and prayer and to lead in times of corporate intercession. As the situation in Europe in general – as well as in Germany – is very dangerous and chaotic, please lift up this conference in prayer. Ask for God to provide an anointing for everything they say, pray and do, and for their safety. Thank you.

Shabbat shalom and hag Pesach sameach, The IFI team

Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of YHWH…
YHWH shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.

Exodus 14:13-14
