1. The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear, according to all you desired of the Lord your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, nor let me see this great fire anymore, lest I die.’ And the Lord said to me: ‘What they have spoken is good. I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him.

    Deuteronomy 18:15-18
    • This promise was given through Moses and You have fulfilled it in Yeshua. We do hear Him!

    • Thank You, that we have the privilege to come into Your throne room with praise, worship and intercession.

    • Thank You that You hear us and answer prayer. You never change. You are the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). You are faithful to keep Your word.

    • Lord, You neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4), You watch over our going out and our coming in (Psalm 121:8). We thank You that in Israel there has been a recent reduction in the violence. Yet we grieve with the victims of the terrible attacks around the world,

    • Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

      Romans 8:35-37
  2. Prime Minister Netanyahu – as always Mr Netanyahu is under attack. Currently because of an anticipated report by the State Comptroller on the 2014 Gaza War. Members of the government are criticizing the PM about the lack of information during the war. Bereaved parents are criticizing him about the way the terror tunnels were handled.

    • Pray the whole of Psalm 3 over Netanyahu.

    • Let the whole truth be revealed in the report and let the truth set Netanyahu free. (John 8:32)

    • If he has made any mistakes let him have the humility to apologize.

    • May Bibi find peace in You.

    • Let all false accusation run off him like water off a duck’s back.

    • Help Bibi to sleep well at night. I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. (Psalm 4:8)

    • Bring encouragers alongside the Prime Minister.

    • But You, O Lord, are a shield for me (Netanyahu), my glory and the One who lifts up my head.

      Psalm 3:3
  3. Egypt – President Sisi seems to be an increasingly good ally for Israel with good cooperation against the common allies of Hamas in Gaza and the Islamist factions in the Sinai. However, it seems that Sisi wants to head up one more Israeli-Palestinian peace initiative. PM Netanyahu needs wisdom to know how far to allow this to go.

    • Thank You for the positive cooperation with Egypt. Please enhance and protect this on our borders.

    • Bless Sisi as far as he is a blessing to Israel (Genesis 12:3). Protect him and his family from assassination and bless him with the understanding that the Islamic understanding of Jesus is not the true Jesus.

    • Give Israel’s leaders, wisdom and discernment regarding Egypt’s intentions.

    • Give wisdom and guidance to David Govrin, Israel’s new ambassador to Egypt.

    • Guard Netanyahu’s mouth, that he wouldn’t make promises or commitments which are contrary to Your will.

    • A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.

      Proverbs 16:9
    • There are many plans in a man’s heart, nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.

      Proverbs 19:21
  4. Border Security – Jordan, like Egypt, has a respectful relationship with Israel. All three countries are seeking to prevent the free movement of terrorists

    • Keep our soldiers alert to all possible infiltrations across the borders.

    • Anoint the Israeli navy to protect our sea coasts against enemies. Thank You for the new technologies being developed to prevent infiltrations and attacks.

    • Improve the cooperation between Israel and Jordan and give King Abdullah of Jordan much wisdom in his dealings with Israel and his own people.

    • May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you; May He send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion.… Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

      Psalm 20:1-2,7
  5. Northern Borders – a recent report has suggested that Israel is working on establishing a “security zone” in part of Syria adjacent to the border with Israel in the Golan Heights. There has also been controversy regarding Israel’s recent failure to destroy an unmanned aircraft (drone) which infiltrated Israeli territory in the same region.

    • Lord, thank You that the Golan Heights are part of Israel and despite years of negotiation and debate, they have not been given away.

    • But I will bring back Israel to his home, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan (The Golan).

      Jeremiah 50:19
    • Thank You for all the IDF activity on the Golan – protecting the area and training the armed forces. Protect all the military and security personnel involved there.

    • If this report of a security zone is true, give Israel’s leaders much wisdom over how far to take this plan.

    • Help Israel resolve the security questions raised by this drone which we were not able to destroy.

    • The Lebanon border is still the most dangerous – please protect Israel from any present or future tunnel construction under the border. Help us complete the technology need for detection and destruction of this threat.

    • Keep Hezbollah preoccupied in Syria so they don’t have time or energy to fight Israel.

    • Protect us against kidnappings.

  6. US Elections – Although the USA’s international role is diminished, what she does and says still greatly impacts Israel and the rest of the world. The burning of US and Israel flags around the Democratic Party Convention and the choices of Vice-Presidential candidates by both parties are recent events highlighting our need to pray. Republican Mike Pence is a committed believer and a supporter of Israel. Democrat Tim Kaine has been anti-Israel in the past.

    • Cause the Church in the US to rise up and pray for the elections and then to go out and vote.

    • Expose all the lies and manipulations of the media and let the truth be revealed.

    • Let Israel’s leaders know what to say and when to keep silent leading up to the US elections.

    • Wake up the Jewish people in America. Cut them loose from the things that hold them there and let them come home.

  7. Memorandum of Understanding – There appears to be pressure to conclude the agreement on US military aid to Israel. The deal which is being offered doesn’t look good for Israel, requiring all the money to be spent in the US (jeopardizing Israel’s defense industries).

    • Give Netanyahu and Israel’s wider leadership Your wisdom whether or not to sign this deal now.

    • If this is the time for cutting or significantly reducing Israel’s dependence upon the USA, then so be it!

    • Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

      Proverbs 3:5-6
    • Israel Budget – During the coming months a new budget needs to be passed. Legally the government falls if this is not done by a certain date. The government wants a 2-year budget in order to avoid the same conflict and instability next year.

    • Lord let the budget be passed so there may be stability in Israel’s government and the ability to move forward.

    • May the political parties in the government recognize they have a responsibility for the country as a whole and not just to fight for more money in the budget for their particular groups in the population.

  8. Building – There is always great controversy surrounding proposals to build houses in parts of Jerusalem or in any of the cities and towns of Judea and Samaria.

    • Now it happened, when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites heard that the walls of Jerusalem were being restored and the gaps were beginning to be closed, that they became very angry, and all of them conspired together to come and attack Jerusalem and create confusion. Nevertheless we made our prayer to our God.

      Nehemiah 4:7-9
    • Give Israel’s government the courage to continue building and go forward with their plans.

    • The community of Amona in Samaria is due to be destroyed by the end of December – let a godly, legal solution be found to prevent this.

    • The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel!... You shall yet plant vines on the mountains of Samaria.

      Jeremiah 31:3-5
    • Thank You, Lord for linking building with Aliyah. The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel. (Psalm 147:2). Build up Jerusalem, O Lord and let Your people be gathered home!
