1. This Shabbat's torahreading includes the following verses:

    • Moses said to YHWH, Behold, You say to me, Bring up this people, yet You have not told me whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight. Therefore, I pray to You, that if I have found grace in Your sight, make me see now Your ways, that I may know You, that I may find grace in Your sight, and consider that this nation is Your people.

      Exodus 33:12-13
    • Abba, we thank and praise You for Your amazing grace (Acts 15:11).

    • Thank You for choosing us by Your grace (Exodus 33:19).

    • For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

      Ephesians 2:8-9
  2. Israel is in the midst of the Passover/Unleavened Bread week and remains on a very high security alert. So far, we have had a relatively quiet holiday, praise God, but we cannot take that for granted.

    • Thank You for Your protection over this nation during this time (Psalm 121:4).

    • We bless all of Israel's security forces who are physically standing in the gap between Israel and those who want to destroy it (Ezekiel 37:10).

    • Continue to reveal and frustrate all attempts to bring death to Israel at this time (Psalm 64:1-5).

    • Be gracious to Israel's security forces and show Yourself to many of them (Isaiah 42:7).

    • Aid the soldiers at the checkpoints to remain alert.

    • Hinder all kidnapping attempts (Exodus 21:16).

    • Provide extra protection along Israel's southern border with Gaza and the Sinai (Malachi 1:5).

    • The horse is prepared for the day of battle; but safety is from YHWH.

      Proverbs 21:31
    • Repair all breaches between soldiers and commanders.

    • May the IDF leadership protect and support the soldiers in all ways.

  3. There is a report that Hizbullah forces are being pulled out from the Syrian Golan border with Israel and being sent back into Lebanon. If true, this is good news – yet the question would then be, exactly why and who gave the order?

    • Lord, provide Israel with accurate intelligence to know what is happening in Syria (Proverbs 15:3).

    • Hide all of Israel's spies and collaborators and aid them in getting to the truth of this situation.

    • Help Israel be ready to respond swiftly to any and all attacks or attempted infiltrations (Isaiah 41:14-16).

    • Cast Hizbullah into a web of confusion that causes all their plans to come to nothing (Psalm 129:5).

    • Enable Israel to have continued freedom and courage to deal with threats in Syria or Lebanon.

    • Hold Israel's leaders into their stated red-lines, and do not allow them to speak vain things (Isaiah 59:4).

    • Do not allow Israel to walk into any traps (Psalm 124:6-8).

    • Keep Your hand of protection upon all Israelis in the Golan and the Upper Galilee (Jeremiah 31:10).

    • Give Israeli politicians wisdom to know when to keep their mouths shut and when to say something.

    • Do not allow your mouth to cause your flesh to sin; do not say before the angel that it was an error. Why should God be angry at your voice and destroy the work of your hands?

      Ecclesiastes 5:6
    • Protect them from being baited by the media.

    • Let the priests, the ministers of YHWH, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, 'Have pity on Your people, O YHWH. Give not Your inheritance to shame, for a proverb among…the nations. Why should they say among the people, Where is their God?' Then YHWH will be jealous for His land and pity His people. Yes, Jehovah will answer and say to His people, Behold…I will remove the northern army far from you, and will drive him into a barren and deserted land…And his stench shall come up, and his ill odor shall come up, because he was doing great things. Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice. For YHWH will do great things.

      Joel 2:17-21
  4. UNRWA, the UN organization that specifically deals with Palestinian "refugees," has decided, miraculously, to revise its textbooks that Palestinian children use, and to eliminate many of the more obvious lies about Jews and Israel. This has cause both the Palestinian Authority and Hamas in Gaza to be very upset and to suspend ties with UNRWA.

    • Lord, thank You for this almost unbelievable news (Jeremiah 32:17, 27). May it be a true report!

    • Give courage to UNRWA officials to actually do this and not be cowed by Palestinian threats.

    • Thank You for this answer of prayer for the Palestinian children so that they are not brainwashed by anti-Semitic lies and end up being consumed by hatred for the Jews and Israel (Esther 3:5-6; 5:13).

    • Abba, use this move as a little leaven to infiltrate that modern-day Tower of Babel and cause a huge change in the way it deals with Israel (1 Corinthians 5:6).

    • Thank You for the new US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley. Continue to empower her to speak truth. The preparations of the heart…and the answer of the tongue, is from YHWH. (Proverbs 16:1)

    • Protect Israel's UN Ambassador Danny Danon from being deceived in any way (Psalm 27:5).

  5. In general, the Arabic-speaking Body of Messiah, especially in Israel, has a lack of revelation of the end-time restoration of Israel. So it is often found striving against that which God is doing with all of His heart and soul (Jeremiah 32:41). This includes both Israeli-Arabs and Palestinian believers. Yet as they are our brothers and sisters in the Lord Yeshua, it is important that we pray for them.

    • Lord Yeshua, pour out the revelation of Israel's restoration and its importance to You on our family (Isaiah 43:5-7, 21).

    • Please forgive all those missionaries who only presented the New Testament when proclaiming the good news of Messiah Yeshua to the Arabs. If some are still alive, convict them of their sin of omission.

    • Abba, we thank You for every Arabic-speaking, or ex-Muslim, believer who does have a revelation of this nation and its people. They are a source of great encouragement to us and we ask that You bless and protect them, and use them to speak the truth boldly (Galatians 4:16).

    • Do not allow any of our family in Messiah to substitute nationalism for Your Kingdom (Matthew 6:33).

    • Remove the fear of man from those who almost see – but are afraid to admit it (Psalm 118:6).

    • We thank You for the good relations there are between many Messianic Jews and Arab believers in Israel. Use this for Your glory and to provoke unsaved Jews and Arabs to jealousy (Romans 11:11, 14).

    • Lord, deal quickly with all Christian organizations that are pushing replacement theory or are anti-Zionist, and let them see how much they are grieving Your Spirit (Ephesians 4:30).

  6. This past week, Ha'aretz, a very left-wing Israeli daily, published an opinion piece that angered many in this nation – including many left-wingers – as the author dared to write that the Israeli religious right was more dangerous to the future of this nation than Hizbullah, the Iranian backed, Lebanese based, terror group.

    • Lord, by a decision of our wills, we again receive the love of the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:10), and thank You for providing truth for us. Sanctify them through Your truth. Your Word is truth. (John 17:17)

    • I have no greater joy than these things, to hear that my children walk in the truth.

      3 John 1:4
    • Please protect Your Body from all media lies and distortions (Ephesians 2:2).

    • Enable the Body to judge all things by the filter of Your Word and not judge Your Word by what they see or hear in the media (2 Corinthians 5:7).

    • We thank You for all those journalists and commentators who do report truth. Raise up more.

    • May many Israelis follow the suggestion of Defense Minister Liberman and boycott Ha'aretz.

    • Help the Body of Messiah to deal in with "information-overload" (Daniel 12:4b).

  7. It is amazing how Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, although looking tired, still has the energy and wisdom to lead this nation at this chaotic time in world history. How does he do it? One answer is that he is probably prayed for by more people throughout the world than any other politician. We thank you for being part of the Aaron and Hur group which does hold his arms up (Exodus 17:12).

    • Again, Abba, we thank and praise You for raising up Netanyahu to lead Israel at just this time.

    • Let Your hand be on the Man of Your right hand, on the Son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself.

      Psalms 80:17
    • Since Netanyahu's heart is in Your hands, turn it in the direction of Your will (Proverbs 21:1).

    • Save him and his family during the final days of this feast and over this Resurrection weekend.

    • Turn us again, O God; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!

      Psalms 80:3; cp. vv. 7, 19
    • As much as possible, let Netanyahu reconcile with those in Israel with whom he has had a failing out (Romans 12:18).

    • Set him free from the spirit of pride (Proverbs 11:2; 18:12).

    • Set him free to delegate in all areas in which You direct him to.

    • Lord, bring out the truth in any investigations that he is going through and resolve these issues quickly.

    • Continue to protect him from all outside pressure from Israel's "friends" who press him to do that which is not in line with Your revealed will – like dividing this land (Leviticus 25:23; Joel 3:1-2).

    • Clarify his thinking and what Israel's red-lines should be when it comes to dealing with any "peace" negotiations – especially those being drawn up in Washington D.C.

    • Thank You for his wisdom in reaching out successfully to many African and Asian nations.

We also prayed for the Messianic Jewish Body here in Israel and worldwide, as well as briefly lifting up the dangerous situation with North Korea.

As we enter this final Passover/Unleavened Bread weekend, we know that most of our brothers and sisters in Messiah will be celebrating the resurrection of the Lord this coming Sunday. What a joy to know that we do serve a Risen Savior, the King of the Jews and the King of kings, Yeshua, our Lord.

But what does it [Moses in Deuteronomy] say? 'The Word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart'; that is, the Word of Faith which we proclaim, because if you confess the Lord Yeshua, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.

Romans 10:8-9

…I declare to you the good news which I preached to you, which also you have received, and in which you stand; by which you also are being kept safe, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received, that Messiah died for our sins, according to the Scriptures [the Old Testament], and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures [the Old Testament];

1 Corinthians 15:1-4
