1. Praise:

The following revelations of God from Shabbat's Torah and prophetic portions are more than enough to keep us praising our Almighty Savior for all eternity.

    • …YHWH, the God of heaven and of the earth…Gen. 24:3b
    • …As YHWH lives who has redeemed my soul out of all distress,1 Kin. 1:29b
    • From the beginning to the end of Your Word, over and over again, we are encouraged to trust that You really are in control! We bless You for this challenging truth to us (Psa. 93:1; 103:19).

    • Precious God the Son, our Lord and our God Yeshua (John 20:28-29), we thank You for humbling Yourself to become a man and then to die to become our Redeemer (Phil. 2:5-8; Rev. 5:9).

    • Thank You that You have often permitted what appears to be the enemy's plans, and then used them for Your glory and our good (Gen. 50:19-20; Rom. 8:28).

    • Messiah Yeshua, we praise and thank You for overcoming this world's anti-God, humanistic order and then giving us all we need to be able to do that as well (John 16:33; 1 John 5:4).

    • Hallelujah! Your Word always accomplishes that for which You send it to do (Isa. 55:11).

    • What a joy to serve the only God in all of reality – the Living God of Israel (Isa. 44:8).

    • We humble ourselves before You and acknowledge that while at times we do not understand Your plans, we can always trust You – for You know the end from the beginning (Prov. 3:5; Isa. 46:10).

    • Thank You that all we go through at this time is called "our light affliction" which lasts only briefly, and which works out in us an "exceeding eternal weight of glory" in Your presence (2 Cor. 4:17).

  2. Government:

There's a possibility that Israel's current coalition will not last much beyond the passing of the budget in mid-November – if in fact it is passed. US pressure on Israel to permit it to open a consulate in Jerusalem for the Palestinians, as well as President Biden's administration's strong condemnation of Israel expanding any of its communities in "East" Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, or the Jordan Valley might be too much for the right wing coalition members to deal with. Is this American pressure an answer to our prayers to bring down this coalition in God's way and in His timing?

    • Lord Yeshua, we ask You to be the head of, and lead, Israel's Foreign Ministry today (Isa. 9:7).

    • God, You raise up and You bring down and we ask for Your perfect will to be done (Dan. 2:21).

    • Let everything that You want done by this coalition be done, while blocking all else (Psa. 33:10-11).

    • Anoint any politicians in Israel's government who are accomplishing Your will (Isa. 44:28-45:6).

    • Let most of the coalition, as well as the Netanyahu led opposition, unite against the US opening up a consulate in any part of Jerusalem – which would diplomatically divide Your city again (Neh. 2:20).

    • Lord, shield Your nation from the machinations of the current US administration (Deut. 33:29).

    • [In Shabbat's Torah reading, Abraham buys Machpelah with the cave and its surroundings, which is Hebron today (Gen. 23:17-20)]. Lord, this is one of the oldest title deeds in the world, and is part of Your Word. Rebuke all those nations who resist Israel from possessing its possessions (Obad. 1:17).

    • You swore to give this land to Abraham and his descendants (Gen. 24:7). We ask for You to watch over this promise to fulfill it in our day and in Your way (Num. 23:19; Jer. 1:12).

    • Abba, rebuke any Israel leader who would sell Your land for any reason whatsoever (Heb. 12:16).

    • Turn back Prime Minister Naftali Bennett to his love, courage and wisdom for Your nation and land as his first priority – or if he refuses, remove him from politics completely (Hos. 14:1).

    • Strengthen all right-wing politicians against compromising with Your land in any way (Lev. 25:23).

    • In Your mercy to Israel and in mercy to Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, Lord do not allow him to become prime minister in August 2023 (Psa. 75:5-7).

    • At the same time, draw Lapid closer to You by revealing Messiah Yeshua to him (John 6:44, 65).

    • Impart wisdom to opposition leader Bibi Netanyahu to know when to speak and what to say and, more importantly, to know when to be quiet (Psa. 46:10; Eccl. 9:17).

  3. Government:

We also prayed into other areas over which this coalition needs to govern.

    • Prevent the government from making promises that it cannot fulfill (Matt. 5:37).

    • Lord, raise up leaders who will have the courage to add "Lord willing" to their statements – and who actually will mean it (Jam. 4:13-16).

    • If it is in Your will for the budget to pass next month, then let it be a righteous budget (Lev. 19:36).

    • Lord, by Your grace, make Avigdor Liberman into a righteous Finance Minister (Psa. 51:10).

    • Please make sure that the defense of Israel is the number one priority in this budget (Rom. 13:1-4).

    • Guard the monies being allocated to the Israeli-Arab communities so that they will be used for their intended purposes and will not be stolen or diverted to anti-Zionist programs (1 Cor. 4:2).

    • Deal with the bureaucracy in the Housing Ministry in order to reduce the cost of housing and impart a godly righteousness into the whole of that industry (Isa. 57:14).

    • Restore Israel's tourism industry so that many people can come up to Zion and be blessed, as well as be a blessing, when visiting Your chosen land (Mic. 4:1-2).

    • We do want to thank You that even while the tourism industry is in dire straits, Israel's economy remains strong. We give You the glory and praise for watching over this nation for good (Jer. 32:42).

    • As the coronavirus crisis did not catch You by surprise, use this confusing and difficult situation to accomplish all that You have in mind for it (Isa. 14:26-27).

    • Give the Israeli government godly wisdom in all of its coronavirus guidelines (Prov. 16:9).

    • Provide all the finances and the rest that Israel's medical community needs (Psa. 23:1-6).

    • When it comes to the issue of protecting the environment, guide Israel to do it in a way that honors You and not in any way that promotes a "mother earth" spirit in Your nation (Psa. 102:13).

  4. Security – internal:

Israel needs a leader with biblical courage to rebuke the world's nations' opposition to it settling all of its land, and also one who will extend Israel's sovereignty over all of the land promised it by God.

    • In Shabbat's Torah portion, Rebekah's family blesses her before she leaves to marry Isaac with these words: You are our sister; be the mother of thousands of millions, and let your seed possess the gate of those which hate them. (Gen. 24:60) Amen! Lord, please make this a reality today.

    • Thank You for Defense Minister Benny Gantz's declaration exposing 6 Palestinian NGO's as terror supporters (Psa. 81:10).

    • Let there be enough proof so that other entities – like the US, the EU and the UN – will see how they have been deceived by these, and other Palestinian, NGO's (Jer. 23:24; 1 Cor. 4:5).

    • Make Israel's government strong, courageous and swift to fight terror in all its forms (Eccl. 8:11).

    • May all terrorist plans plotted in darkness be brought into the light (Dan. 2:22).

    • Lord, please encourage Israel to extend its sovereignty over all of the land You have promised it – at least all of its land west of the Jordan River at this time (Deut. 34:1-4).

    • Prevent Israel's coalition from appeasing the world's demands concerning Your land (Ezek. 36:5).

    • Give courage to Israel to co-labor with You in building Givat HaMatos in southern Jerusalem and the E1 corridor on Jerusalem's eastern flank (Psa. 147:2).

    • Give courage to Israel to stop the EU-backed illegal Palestinian building in Area C.

    • Thank You for PM Bennett's declarations of increasing housing in the Jordan Valley and the Golan Heights. May he follow through and do that which he has said (Gen. 13:14-18; Isa. 54:2-3).

    • Lord, please watch over the prisoner exchange negotiations between Hamas and Israel, and forbid any lop-sided agreement (Amos 3:3).

    • Protect Israel's Special Forces who arrest terrorists each night in Palestinian areas (Psa. 121:3).

    • Prepare Israel for the day after Palestinian Authority President Abbas is gone (Isa. 42:9).

    • Replace Abbas with someone who will fully reveal the hatred against Israel in most Palestinian hearts, which will force Israel to finally reject all land-for-peace deals (Psa. 35:19-20; 55;20).

  5. Security – external:

Again, we focused on Iran and its proxies; Hizbullah in Lebanon, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Gaza and all the groups under its control in Syria and Iraq.

    • Speak clearly to PM Bennett that his main responsibility is to defend Israel – not his coalition.

    • Show Israel's leaders how to work with Russian President Putin for Israel's benefit (Rom. 12:18).

    • Warn Putin to not deceive Israel (Gen. 31:7) and reveal to him that for Russia's sake, he needs to lean favorably toward Your nation in all his international dealings (Num. 24:9b).

    • Give Israel Your plans to know how to respond to the critical crisis in Lebanon (2 Sam. 5:17-25).

    • Set the Lebanese civilians free from their Hizbullah terrorist overlords (Psa. 29:5; Isa. 29:17).

    • Use this crisis to bring Hizbullah, Iran's Lebanese proxy, to destruction (Psa. 35:2-8).

    • Hamas setting up a second front against Israel in Lebanon without Hizbullah's approval. Let these two groups drain their energies and finances and fight against each other (Judg. 7:22; 2 Chr. 20:22).

    • Move upon Syria's President Assad's mind to become more distrustful and uncomfortable with Iran and its plans for his nation (Job 12:16; 15:31).

    • Reinforce Your angelic hosts along Israel's Syrian border to prevent the entrenchment of Iranian proxies and to back-up and guard the IDF (Psa. 68:17).

    • Reveal to Israel's intelligence services exactly what are Iran's plans against it (2 Kin. 6:12).

    • Send division, disinformation, destruction of supplies, and a drying up of finances to Iran as well as between Iran and all of its proxies (Psa. 35:26; 129:5).

    • Lord, use the anxiety which is increasing in Western nations concerning Iran's progress in refining large amounts of uranium to pressure them to take action – and not just to appease Iran (Psa. 120:7).

    • The Taliban are allowing Shi'ite Muslims to be slaughtered in Afghanistan and Iran is run by radical Shi'ites. Lord, use this situation to enflame major conflicts between these nations along their 560 mile common border – thus turning Iran's attention eastward, and away from Israel (Isa. 37:6-7).

    • Continue to shake Iran by both natural and supernatural disasters, and then reveal to many Iranians that this is the hand of Israel's God, turning many unto You (Psa. 83:13-18).

    • Help the IDF to learn all the lessons it should from its many military exercises (Prov. 4:7).

    • Guard all of Israel's drones, preventing any from falling into enemy lands (Isa. 31:5).

    • Protect Israel in cyberspace, and give it a huge lead over everyone else in cyberwarfare, both offensively and defensively (Psa. 44:4-5).

    • Give Israel a major breakthrough in laser weaponry so that it no longer needs to look to the US to refurbish its cutting-edge weapons (Psa. 20:7-9; Isa. 31:1).

    • Use the growing division in American politics on how to view Israel as an incentive for Israel to encourage and finance its own military industry, developing Israeli-made and manufactured weapons.

  6. Aliyah:

We cannot stop praying for this because God repeatedly states that the regathering of His scattered people is for His glory and for His holy name's sake (Matt. 6:9-10).

    • Fear not: for I am with you: I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring My sons from far; My daughters from the ends of the earth – even everyone that is called by My name – for I have created him for My glory. I have formed him; yes, I have made him.Isa. 43:5-7
    • You promise to gather Your people to Your land in order that they might be saved (Ezek. 39:27-29). We say "Amen" [Heb: "so be it"] and ask You to do this as a sudden work in the earth (Zech. 12:10).

    • Draw Your people, or drive Your people, to return home to Israel (Jer. 16:16; 31:3).

    • Show the well-meaning Jews in exile who think God has set them to the nations to heal them, that at this time in history Jeremiah 51:6-10 is what they should be seeing and responding to.

    • Open wide the doors for large families and even communities to return together (Jer. 31:8-9).

    • Remove from every Israeli ministry that directly deals with aliyah any people who are, for whatever reason, opposed to seeing more Jews make aliyah.

    • Also, cut through all of Israel's bureaucratic red tape that slows down the aliyah process (Isa. 62:10).

    • Lord Yeshua, raise up many more in Your Body who will pray for You to fulfill all You said You would do in Ezekiel 36 concerning the restoration and salvation of Israel (Ezek. 36:37).

  7. Water:

We know it is God's will for the land of Israel to have all the water it needs to survive and to thrive. Therefore, we pray with confidence asking Him to make this a reality (1 John 5:14-15).

    • Thank You God for the rain that has already fallen (Isa. 30:23).

    • We are asking for more rain, as per Your instructions in Zechariah 10:1.

    • [Israel's neighbors] shall say, 'This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited'.Ezek. 36:35
    • Lord, the Garden of Eden had four rivers flowing out of it. We ask for a least one good sized river to be created in Israel today (Isa. 41:18-21).

    • Forbid any deadly flooding during this coming winter, but Lord send all the rain that is needed – for now and the near future (Psa. 104:13; 147:8; Matt. 5:45b).

Please continue to join us in praying for IFI's financial situation. Thank you.
