1. Praise :

   Shabbat's Torah portion has this word of encouragement from Moses to Joshua that also applies to believers who follow the Lord's directions: YHWH, He will go before you and will be with you; He will not fail you, nor forsake you: fear not, nor be dismayed. (Deut. 31:8)

   • Lord God, we bless You for Your faithfulness (Deut. 7:9; Psa. 40:10; 1 Cor. 1:9).

   • Abba Father, unite our hearts to fear Your name (Psa. 86:11).

   • We rejoice in knowing that if we fear You we need not fear what man can do to us (Psa. 118:6).

   • Fear YHWH, you His saints, for there is no lack to those who fear Him. (Psa. 34:9)

   • Yeshua Lord, thank You for telling us that, through Your Spirit (John 14:16-18), You will be with us even until the end of this age (Matt. 28:20b).

   • King Messiah, we praise You for leading us in these chaotic, yet very prophetic, days (Psa. 23:3b).

2. Government & society :

   Our God determines who rules the nations (Dan. 4:17). He also uses them for His purposes – whether we perceive this or not. While we might question His choices, still we are told to pray for them (1 Tim. 2:1-3). As Israel will hold its national elections on Oct. 27th it is important that we pray for the next group of Israel's leaders and for Israel's leaders today.

   • God of Israel, anoint our prayers for Israel's current and future government (Psa. 32:8; Luke 11:1b).

   • Messiah Lord, guide Your Body worldwide to pray for a righteous and Zionistic government to be raised up to hasten the coming of Your kingdom here on the earth (Isa. 40:3-5; Luke 11:2).

   • Lord God, as Israelis listen what the parties say on crucial issues, such as sovereignty over the land and judicial reform, move upon them to vote for those who will do Your will (Prov. 16:9).

   • God of Jacob, forbid that Israelis would vote for a government which would reverse all of the godly progress that the current government has taken in many areas (Ex. 14:15; Ezra 10:4-5; Luke 9:62).

   • As nothing is too hard for You Abba, build a Zionistic coalition that need not depend on the Haredi [ultra-Orthodox] parties to survive and who will also pass righteous laws (Jer. 32:17, 27).

   • King Messiah, do not let the creation of new right-wing parties splinter the right-wing vote in such as way as to open the door for the left to have an easily path to form a coalition (Dan. 2:21).

   • Abba Father, arrange circumstances between now and the elections that redirect Israel's electorate to vote for those whom You have ordained to rule over Israel at this time (Psa. 103:19; Prov. 16:33).

   • God of Israel, prevent PM Bibi Netanyahu and other coalition politicians, from viewing all they say or do today through a political filter of "what-is-best-for-me" in the upcoming elections (Matt. 6:34).

   • Lord God, shield Bibi and the coalition from being distracted or diverted by the election campaign that they falter in leading Israel in line with Your will at this season (Deut. 6:4-5; 10:12).

   • Righteous Judge, arise and fulfill Isaiah 1:24-26 and cleanse Israel's judiciary of its unrighteousness and then fill the ensuing vacuum with Your righteousness (Isa. 32:1; 33:22).

   • Thank You Lord God for positioning more sons and daughters of Zion all over Israel (Isa. 52:2; Mic. 4:13; Zech. 2:10; 9:13); Abba, also remove many of the offspring of Greece (Psa. 75:6-7).

3. Foreign relations :

   There are signs of Psalm 2 being fulfilled today. Many nations are furious at God and His Anointed, both Messiah Yeshua and Israel. [Psa. 2 refers to Yeshua as God's Anointed; Psa. 105:15 calls Israel His anointed (note the context: vv.11-15)]. Psalm 2:4-5 says God mocks these who rage against Him and His Anointed and then pours out His fierce anger upon them. This is a very dangerous time to be an enemy of Israel, Israel's Messiah and of its God.

   • King Yeshua, help believers to see the link between the gross darkness overtaking their nations (Isa. 60:2) and leaders, people, and even churches cursing and/or betraying Your nation (Num. 24:9b).

   • God, at this time of increased global shakings, give great wisdom to Israel's Foreign Ministry and its excellent Foreign Minister, Gideon Sa'ar (Eccl. 8:5).

   • Lord God, use the explosion of anti-Zionism to turn Israel into Your prophesied set-apart nation (Num. 23:9b), and wean it off from trusting in any other nations rather than in You (Isa. 31:1-3).

   • God of all, place the spirit that David had when dealing with King Saul upon Netanyahu in all of his dealings with US President Trump and his administration (1 Sam. 18:14-15; Matt. 10:16b).

   • Abba, guide Israel as to where to export its products as many more nations, especially in the West, are beginning to boycott products sold by Jews, just like the Nazis did in the 1930s (Job 19:14, 19)!

   • God, help strengthen Israel's relations with African, Latin American, India, many former Soviet Union nations, as well as with Greece and Cyprus (Deut. 4:6).

   • King of kings, anoint Israeli UN Ambassador Danon and his team to defend Israel in that modern Tower of Babylon against the anti-Christ spirit which resides there (Psa. 81:10; 119:13; 1 John 2:18).

   • Lord of lords, we ask You to determine whether Bibi attends the Sept. annual UN General Assembly meeting in NYC – and if he goes, place Your words in his mouth (Psa. 81:10; Prov. 16:9; 19:21).

4. Gaza :

   Trump's July announcement of his "Board of Peace's" 15 point plan to bring "peace and security" to Gaza, Israel and the Middle East [ME] is dangerous for America and to Israel if it submits to it. Its goal is the creation a "Palestinian State" upon God's land that He swore to give to His people. Also, the Bible warns that those who cry "peace and security" and who try to divide His land are targets for sudden destruction (Joel 3:12; 1 Thess. 5:3).

   • King Yeshua, if American believers are not upset by Trump's new "deal," then wake them up to how You see it so that they can plead for mercy for their nation (Num. 23:19; Isa. 48:22; 57:21).

   • Abba Father, fulfill Psalm 33:10-11 in relation to this new "deal" and end it (Psa. 125:3)!

   • Thank You God for Netanyahu rejecting this and demanding that Trump's original 21 point deal (Hamas disarmed and Gaza demilitarized), be fulfilled before the IDF withdraws from some of Gaza that it currently controls (Num. 30:2; Matt. 5:37).

   • Eternal Commander, remove from the IDF's leadership any sons of Greece and release Israel to fight for total victory without being hindered by the humanistic leanings of men (Psa. 44:4-6; Matt. 16:23).

   • God, in line with the above prayer, eliminate all rules of engagement that prevents the IDF from gaining that total victory against Hamas (Psa. 60:12; 68:35; Zech. 10:5).

   • Almighty God, increase Your overall protection for Israel's soldiers stationed in Gaza (Psa. 3:5-8).

   • Messiah Yeshua, watch over Deuteronomy 30:7 in Shabbat's Torah portion in relation to Hamas.

   • God of Jacob, show more Israelis that Gaza belongs to the tribe of Judah and repossessing it is the only "day-after" plan that is pleasing in Your sight (Josh. 15:1, 47; Judg. 1:18; Prov. 16:9).

5. Internal security :

   Jews are reading in Deuteronomy for Shabbat's Torah portions until the end of September. Again, we note that Moses says more than 80 times in that book that God has given His land to His nation, and yet Israel needs to obey Him and rise up to possess it (Obad. 1:17).

   • Lord God, as Jews read this Shabbat's Torah portion, help them to see how often You mention the land that You have promised to them (Deut. 30:5, 20; 31:7, 13, 20, 21, 23).

   • Abba, show them, and believers, how You emphasis Your gift of the land by declaring in the Torah portion that You have sworn to give it to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob (Deut. 30:19-20; 31:7).

   • Lord Yeshua, change the thinking of believers who do not understand, or refuse to accept, how vital the physical land of Israel is to Your Kingdom purposes on the earth (Zech. 12:2-9; 14:1-4).

   • Abba Father, by Your Spirit, create in both the Body of Messiah and in Your nation a zeal for Your land that matches, at least to some degree, Your zeal over it (Ezek. 36:5-15; Zech. 8:1-2).

   • King of kings, increase the number of Knesset [Israeli parliament] members in the next governing coalition who are determined to extend Israel's sovereignty over more of Your land (Isa. 54:2-3).

   • Almighty God, cast out all fear of man from Israel's current and future leaders as that is what stops many of them from extending Israel's sovereignty over Judea and Samaria (Psa. 118:6; Prov. 29:25).

   • King Messiah, hedge in the zealots among the settlers and forbid their violent acts from tarnishing the excellent character of the vast majority of Israelis who live in Judea and Samaria (Gal. 5:9).

   • God, spread Your wings of protection over Your nation as they observe the fall feasts (Psa. 17:8).

   • Abba Father, help Israel to complete its plan to increase security along the 186 mile [300 kms.] long border with Jordan by building more settlements and IDF bases there (Psa. 147:14).

   • God, enhance Israel's efforts to guard its roads, checkpoints and public transportation (Psa. 121:8).

   • Lord God of Moses, for Your name's sake, fulfill what You promised in Exodus and go out with the IDF against its enemies inside the land; send Your fear to go before them (23:27); drive out Israel's foes (23:30); and expand its land to encompass all that the Promised Land entails (23:31-33).

   • Almighty of Jacob, prepare the IDF to war against the Palestinian Authority's Security Forces who are now an army and have many more "police" than agreed to in the Oslo Accords (Psa. 23:5).

   • Lion of Judah, set the Palestinian Authority and Hamas against each other (Zech. 14:13).

   • Lord, save many Palestinians and use them to provoke Jews to jealousy (Matt. 5:44; Rom. 11:11).

6. External security :

   Israel's offensive stance against those who attack it is being maintained. Despite Trump trying to restrain Israel's response to Hizbullah, and America's displeasure with Israel's attack on a Syrian airbase being prepared for Turkey's use, God has strengthened Bibi and Israel's security cabinet to release the IDF to strike hard. Please know that turning the other cheek was never meant to apply to nations and most definitely does not work in Israel's "peaceful' neighborhood.

   • King of Israel, You are still "a Man of war;" therefore arise and lead Israel as it wars against all of its modern-day adversaries (Ex. 15:3a; Psa. 68:1, 30; Isa. 42:13; Joel 3:16; Rev. 19:11-16).

   • Messiah Yeshua, magnify the paranoia among Israel's ME foes so that they simply cannot trust each other and that confuses them into making major geo-political mistakes (Psa. 129:5).

   • Lord God of Jacob, allow the Islamic principality's eternal hatred of Your people to drag it down into eternal destruction (Prov. 16:18; Ezek. 35:5-6).

   • Iran: Lord God, show the US and Israel the "Achilles heel" of the Iranian regime and let them use it to destroy the king and the princes as per Your word in Jeremiah 49:38b.

   • We thank You that Bibi has openly said that Israel's goal is for regime change in Iran (Jer. 51:20).

   • We praise You for him also declaring that regardless of the results of the war between Iran and the US, Israel will never allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons (Acts 26:25). Now hold him to it!

   • King of kings, use Iran's missile attacks against its neighboring Arab nations to divide the house of Islam, and to ultimately destroy this demonic principality over the Middle East (Mark 3:24-26).

   • God, as with the Chaldeans, let the Iranian regime be suddenly overrun and destroyed (Dan. 5:30).

   • Messiah Yeshua, protect and guide Iranian believers as they pray for their nation (Jam. 5:16b).

   • Lord God, have mercy on the oppressed Iranian civilians some of whom reportedly need to steal food in order to feed their families (Psa. 9:9; 103:6; 146:7).

   • Hizbullah in Lebanon: Almighty, challenge the Lebanese government to decide if they want to be a sovereign nation or a proxy for Iran – and if the former show them that Israel can help (Deut. 30:19).

   • Lord God, as Israel is not satisfied with how the Lebanese Army is dealing with Hizbullah in the pilot zones, support its refusal to withdraw any further from any other areas in Lebanon (Psa. 30:7a).

   • God, reveal all of Hizbullah's weapons caches, tunnels and hiding places to the IDF (Job 28:11b).

   • Messiah Yeshua, protect and guide Lebanese believers as they pray for their nation (Jam. 5:16b).

   • Lord God, thank You for having Israel take over parts of South Lebanon up to the Litani River as a buffer zone against attacks on its northern communities, and as that is a part of their land inheritance may Israel remain there forever (Deut. 11:24; Josh. 13:2-7).

   • We praise and bless You Abba that Israeli schools have reopened in the North which is an answer to our prayers based on Joel 2:17-22.

   • Turkey: Lord of hosts, bring to Israel accurate, even actionable, intelligence in relation to the Mecca defense pact between Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan (Job 12:22; Prov. 16:5).

   • God, let Turkey's President Erdogan's extreme arrogance lead him to ruin (Prov. 16:18; 17:19).

   • Abba Father, open Trump's eyes to see why Israel views Turkey, Syria and Qatar as hostile nations and not "allies" of either Israel, America, or the West (Psa. 55:19-21).

   • Lord, protect and guide Turkish and Syrian believers as they pray for their nation (Jam. 5:16b).

   • Other: Lord Yeshua, teach the Body that if Israel is destroyed You cannot return (Zech. 14:1-4); that this would also prove Your Word is a lie and destroy the promise of eternal life (Jer. 31:35-37; John 17:17); therefore burden them to intercede for You to constantly guard over Israel (Psa. 121:4).

7. Aliyah :

   God is regathering His people for His holy name's sake (Ezek. 36:22-24). Believers who know His complete Word see this as it is an end-time sign to the nations that our God is both faithful and able to fulfill His promises (Num. 23:19).

   • Lord God, we are so blessed to see You fulfill Your word to Israel that is found in Shabbat's Torah portion (Deut. 30:1-5), as to regather Your people from all the nations where You scattered them back to the land of their forefathers. [Note how their salvation comes after they are regathered as Deut. 30:6 states: And YHWH your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love YHWH your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.]

   • As Western Jews continue to hide any open signs of their Jewishness, especially as they go to high holiday services later this month, let their realistic fears turn their hearts to Zion (Jer. 51:8-10).

   • Abba Father, rebuke Jewish pride that says, "They will not chase us out!" and show them that You are doing the chasing in order to bring them home (Prov. 16:18; Isa. 43:5-7; Jer. 31:3-5).

   • Merciful Abba, use the warning of Israel's consular general in NY that that city is no longer safe for Jews to shake up Jews throughout America to perceive that it is time to come home (Psa. 137:5-6).

   • God of Jacob, remove all stumbling stones from Jews who want to return but are held back by either circumstances, finances, or their current-nations refusal to let them leave (Ex. 8:1; Psa. 68:6a).

   • Lord, as Israel's relations with Latin America nations improves, may that initiate a mass return of many Spanish and Portuguese speaking Jews to Your land (Isa. 43:6; Ezek. 11:17).

   • God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, pry open the gates to Your nation to all whom You perceive as Jewish, regardless of what modern Rabbinic Judaism teaches (Isa. 62:10; Mark 7:9).

   • Lord God, remove any bureaucrat in Israel's Interior Ministry or the Jewish Agency who is barely lukewarm about aliyah and replace them with those who are as zealous as You (Zech. 8:1-8).

   • Lord Yeshua, burden Your Body to pray for the Jews in their nations to make aliyah (Ezek. 36:37).

8. Salvation :

   We are in Ellul, the month of repentance in Judaism. Many Jews are trying to get their hearts right so as to celebrate the Lord's fall feasts with a heart that is more aligned with God. Each morning in synagogues, a shofar is blown and Jews gather to pray prayers of repentance.

   • God, regardless of why Jews attend services during Ellul, reveal Yourself to them (1 Sam. 3:21).

   • Lord God, cause Your people to not recite the prayers of repentance – but to pray (Matt. 6:5-7).

   • Abba, as Your people recite the Shema, let them see how impossible this is to do without Your grace and turn them to ask You for help: Hear Israel; YHWH our God is one YHWH, and you shall love YHWH your God with all your heart, soul, and might. (Deut. 6:4-5; Isa. 30:19)

   • Lord Yeshua, as Your people read Isaiah 63:7-9 in Shabbat's prophetic portion, show them that You became their Savior; You were afflicted for their sakes; You redeemed them and although most of them are still blinded (Rom. 11:25-26), You are the One who is carrying them today!

   • Abba Father, cause many Jews to ask You, and not their rabbis, who was that "Angel" of Your face [lit. in the Hebrew] who saved them (Isa. 63:9a).

   • King Yeshua, burden Your Body to persistently pray for all Israel to be saved (Rom. 10:1; 11:26).

   • God, use Messianic Jewish IDF soldiers to provoke their fellow warriors to jealousy (Rom. 11:14).

   • Also turn ex-Muslim believers into zealous provokers to jealousy of the Jews (Rom. 11:11).

   • [Ask the Lord concerning any specific groups of Jews He wants you to pray for this week.]

9. Body of Messiah :

   We are called to be God's servants on earth. Yet if we are unaware of what He is doing because of not knowing His Word and what He says about the last days, then how can we pray in line with His will for His King, Messiah Yeshua, to set up His kingdom on earth.

   • Messiah Yeshua, confront any believer who for whatever reason rejects the Tanach as still being part of Your full counsel (Jer. 23:29; John 5:46-47; Acts 20:27).

   • Lord God, reveal to believers who are lukewarm about the restoration of Israel that You – the One whom they proclaimed as their God – are jealous [+zealous] about it (Zech. 8:1-8).

   • King Yeshua, guard the Body from deception through what they hear or read on the various social media platforms today (Rom. 16:17-18; 1 Cor. 15:33; Eph. 4:11-14).

   • Lord Yeshua, protect Your Body from being deceived by Artificial Intelligence through reviving in them a love of Your truth as revealed in Your Word (John 17:17; 3 John 1:4).

   • Divine Physician, heal Your Body of its biblical anorexia and prophetic illiteracy by giving it a deep hunger to "eat" all of Your Word (Jer. 15:16; Amos 8:11; Acts 20:32; 2 Tim. 2:15; Heb. 5:13-14).
