1. Praise :

   In the prophetic portions of the 1st two days of Rosh Hashanah [Shabbat and Sunday], God is declared by Abraham as the eternal God (Gen. 21:33) and by Hannah as holy, unique (1 Sam. 2:2), and a totally sovereign Creator (1 Sam. 2:6-8).

   • Lord God, we praise You as we realize that what Abraham and Hannah have declared is just a drop in a bucket compared to who You are in reality (Ex. 33:20; Job 37:23a; 1 Tim. 6:15-16).

   • We thank You for all You have revealed about Yourself in Your Word (Psa. 19:7-11; 119:130) and especially through Your Son, the Living Word (John 1:18; Col. 1:15; Heb. 1:1-3).

   • We are so grateful for the encouragements You give us by telling us that You are not only Creator but You are also absolutely sovereign over Your creation (Psa. 99:1; 103:19).

   • Abba Father, as Jews over Rosh Hashanah celebrate You as Creator and King, we rejoice that You created all through Yeshua (John 1:1-3; Col. 1:12-19) who is our King today (Psa. 5:2; 1 Tim. 1:17).

2. Salvation :

   Jews worldwide observe the first of YHWH's fall feasts tonight. Yom Teruah (Lev. 23:24), literally the Day of Blowing [of the shofar], is known today as Rosh Hashanah – literally the Head of the Year, or the New Year. This is also the beginning of the Ten Days of Awe – from Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, the most sacred of God's feasts and thus the most sacred day on the Jewish calendar. This is a very appropriate time to pray for all Israel to be saved.

   • Lord, during this time let that which Hannah proclaimed in 1 Samuel 2:1 in the prophetic portion become a reality to multitudes of Your people – especially this: I rejoice in Your salvation.

   • Abba, since You initiate salvation by grace (Psa. 80:3; Zech. 4:6-7; 12:10), we ask You to do that by removing the partial blindness over Your people's eyes concerning Messiah Yeshua (Rom. 11:25).

   • Messiah Yeshua, please stop hiding from Your people (Isa. 45:15), and like Joseph, remove Your "Egyptian" garments and let them see that You are in reality their brother and king (Gen. 45:1-3).

   • God of Jacob, as per Ezekiel 36:26-27, give to the Jews who are back in the land a new heart, a new spirit, and Your Spirit, and let the fruit of their repentance be evident to all (Ezek. 36:31-32).

   • Abba Father, show Your people that You want a personal relationship with them (Jer. 31:34).

   • Lord Yeshua, save Holocaust survivors and their families; survivors of terrorism; ex-hostages and their loved ones; IDF soldiers and families; loved ones of soldiers killed or severely injured; Israelis with PTSD; Israeli medical personnel; widows, widowers, orphans, traumatized children; Jewish politicians, judges, lawyers, diplomats; university students, teachers, professors; scientists; rabbis and Jewish anti-missionaries; Jews, including Jewish zealots, in Judea and Samaria; Jews on their death beds; Jews shamed by past abortions; Israeli archeologists and tour guides; Israelis in the nations; Jews who just made aliyah; alcoholics, drug-addicts, hippies, LGBTQ+, new agers; Jews in Iran, Ethiopia, India, Turkey; Jews married to gentile believers; unsaved loved ones of Messianic Jews.

3. Aliyah :

   One of the prophetic portions read during Rosh Hashanah includes Jeremiah 31:3-10. These prophecies are being fulfilled today before a world that rejects both God's Word and His nation.

   • Thank You Lord God for allowing us to see Your prophecies of Israel being regathered and to watch as Your covenant love for Your people is fulfilled so openly today (Jer. 31:3; cp. Isa. 43:5-7).

   • Abba, we rejoice, and are Your witnesses, that You are regathering Your people to Samaria, and as You said, enabling them to produce world-class wines (Jer. 31:4-5).

   • Lord, we have seen You watching over Jeremiah 31:8-9 in our days and ask that You would not stop until all of Israel is back in Your/their land (Num. 23:19; Ezek. 39:28-29).

   • Thank You that 20,000 people immigrated to Israel since last Rosh Hashanah (Jer. 31:16-17).

   • Messiah Yeshua, teach gentiles who are part of Your Body that Jeremiah 31:10 is speaking to them and let them both proclaim it and pray for it to continue (Isa. 45:11).

   • Raise up righteous gentiles to hide and protect Jews as anti-Semitism increases (Jer. 16:16).

   • When Western Jews for security reasons consider hiding their Jewishness as they go to high holiday services this month, use their realistic concerns to turn their hearts to Zion (Jer. 51:8-10).

   • King Messiah, bring home Jews with medical, scientific and practical skills (Neh. 4:16-18), and move on whole families and communities to return together (Ex. 12:37-38; Jer. 31:3-5).

   • Lord, burden the next Israeli government to promote a new generation of Sons of Zion gatekeepers who will open wide the gates of Israel to multitudes of Jews, regardless of their financial situation, skin color or religious beliefs (Psa. 122:2).

   • As the interest in aliyah increases, God increase the finances and manpower to both Israel and other organizations to handle this in a most expedient manner (Psa. 84:11; 104:24; Prov. 11:25).

   • God of Israel, marry Your people to the land, teaching them that it is not a love affair but a marriage: for better or worse, richer or poorer, in sickness and in health (Isa. 62:4-5).

   • Lord Yeshua, give Your Body more elders who know, and are willing to talk about, the connection between may Your name be sanctified (Luke 11:2) and Jews returning to Israel (Ezek. 36:21-24).

4. Government & society :

   Israel's election campaign is in full swing. The anti-PM Bibi Netanyahu parties blame him for most of the nation's problems. Actually, they have been doing this for the four years of the current coalition. While he does carry the ultimate responsibility, being the head of the government, yet there is a lot of twisting of facts and a refusal to recognize the good that he and his coalition have done. We pray that Israel's voters be protected from manipulation (Num. 23:23).

   • Lord Yeshua, burden Your Body to intercede for Israel's elections by showing them the link between Israel's restoration in righteousness and Your return in glory (Isa. 46:13; Zech. 12:10; 14:3-4).

   • At this season, Abba Father, may more Israelis understand that although Israel needs a human prime minister today, You are, and always have been, its true Ruler (1 Sam. 12:12, 19; Isa. 33:22).

   • God of Jacob, when Israeli politicians read the prophetic portion for Rosh Hashanah, use Hannah's words to pierce their hearts: Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogance come out of your mouth; for YHWH is a God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed. (1 Sam. 2:3)

   • God, guard the lips of all politicians whom You want to be part of the new government (Psa. 141:3).

   • Creator, unless You build the house man's labors are useless (Psa. 127:1), so please build the next Israeli coalition using only sons and daughters of Issachar and of Zion (1 Chr. 12:32; Zech. 9:13).

   • Lord of Jacob, honor Israeli ministers who have done Your will and give them more influence in the new government: Justice Minister Levin; Defense Minister Katz; Foreign Minister Sa'ar; Israeli UN Ambassador Danon; Finance Minister Smotrich; Diaspora Affairs and Anti-Semitism Minister Chikli; and all others who have proven to be true sons and daughters of Zion (Zech. 9:13).

   • Almighty King, let Netanyahu's study of history make him today even more of a "son-of-Issachar" type leader – for Israel's sake as well as for Your kingdom's sake (1 Chr. 12:32).

   • King of Jacob, shield Israelis against manipulation and witchcraft from Israel's left-leaning media, as well as through social media at this time (Num. 23:23; Psa. 63:11; Zech. 2:5).

   • God of justice, as Israel desperately needs judicial reform, anoint the next coalition to do it and also place more God-fearers throughout Israel's judiciary system (2 Chr. 19:6-7; Psa. 75:5-7).

   • Abba Father, guide the ultra-Orthodox [Haredi] who do join the IDF to bring out a good report and bless them and the many Haredi rabbis in Israel who openly support this growing trend (Num. 1:2-4).

5. Foreign relations :

   As disciples of Messiah Yeshua, His Father's foreign policy must be ours: May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matt. 6:9-10). His goal has to be our top priority over our loyalty to any nation, including Israel. Yet we also need to see that this goal will only be fulfilled when Israel becomes all that God has promised it will be.

   • Almighty King, guide Your nation to respond godly to the various boycotts that are coming against them from many nations, especially their so-called Western "allies" (Psa. 28:3; Jer. 9:8).

   • Lord Yeshua, awaken believers in nations who are no longer allies of Israel, like the UK and many European nations, to the serious threat of Isaiah 60:12 which applies today (Psa. 9:19-20; Isa. 41:11).

   • Abba Father, do that which You did when Balaam tried to curse Israel and turn all the curses from world leaders today into blessings – simply because You still love Israel (Deut. 23:5).

   • Messiah Yeshua, extend Your scepter of authority (Matt. 28:18) over the UN and its outreaches that seem to curse Israel daily, and shut them up (Jer. 10:25; 30:20; Zech. 2:13; Luke 1:20).

   • King of kings, overrule whether Bibi speaks to the annual UN General Assembly meeting in NYC on September 24th – and if he goes, put Your words in his mouth (Psa. 81:10; Prov. 16:9; 19:21).

   • Abba Father, send Your Spirit and anoint Israel's leaders to know how to relate to America despite their frequent change of leaders, and policies, towards Your nation (Prov. 26:4-5; Isa. 31:1; Jer. 17:5).

   • Lord God, grant great discernment to Israel to know which nations are safe to share and sell its hi-tech weaponry and defensive achievements to and which nations are not (Isa. 39:3-7).

   • Almighty Savior, send revivals to nations that are blessing Israel – such as India, Ethiopia, Slovenia, Somaliland, Argentina, Colombia, Vietnam, others, and many US states (Gen. 12:3a; Psa. 117:1-2).

6. Gaza :

   God continues to interfere with US President Trump's unworkable and dangerous Gaza "ceasefire" plan (Prov. 16:1, 9). As Trump focuses on Iran, Hamas' leaders repeat that they will not disarm or give up control of the part of Gaza they control. We thank God that Israel believes them and the IDF is preparing to strike Hamas and Islamic Jihad a death blow at the appropriate time.

   • God of Judah, override man's plans and let only Your plans for Gaza prevail (Psa. 33:10-11).

   • Lord God of justice, in line with Deuteronomy 32:41 and Isaiah 34:5, render vengeance on Your enemies in Gaza – those who hate You and hate Your people (Psa. 83:1-4).

   • Abba Father, entangle Hamas in the various traps they are setting for the IDF (Psa. 35:4-8).

   • Lord of hosts, as in biblical times, download strategies and tactics to the IDF to shock, divide and to permanently defeat Hamas (Josh. 6:2-5; Judg. 7:16-18; 2 Sam. 5:23-24).

   • Almighty, since Gaza is a part of Judah's inheritance, fulfill Genesis 49:8b and empower the IDF's "hand to be on the neck of [all of its] enemies."

   • Lord of heaven's hosts, fortify Your protection over IDF soldiers in Gaza – against attacks, explosive devices, kidnapping attempts, accidents and friendly fire incidents (Psa. 32:7; 121:4).

   • God of Jacob, forbid that Israel permits any other nation or entity to rule in Gaza as it has been given to the tribe of Judah as part of its inheritance (Josh. 15:1, 47; Judg. 1:18; Zeph. 2:5-7).

   • King Yeshua, let Your light shine through believers in Gaza and save many Muslims (Matt. 5:16).

7. Internal security :

   The only time in God's Word that says He will do something with all of His heart and His soul refers to Him planting the Jews back in their land (Jer. 32:41). This is being done today! It is also connected with Israel's salvation (32:37-40). As God is doing this in such a definitive manner, it should also be a major prayer topic for Messiah's Body.

   • King Messiah, burden believers to pray for Israel to possess its land (Judg. 2:1-4), showing them that this is not political, but prophetic, and is for Your holy name's sake (Ezek. 36:34-36; 37:14).

   • Lord Yeshua, remove the unbiblical term "West Bank" from the Body, and replace it with the names You used when You walked on it – "Judea and Samaria" (Matt. 2:1; 24:16; John 4:4).

   • We bless You God that Jews now have greater liberty to pray and praise You on the Temple Mount and we thank You for Minster of National Security Ben-Gvir establishing this new reality (Psa. 100:4-5).

   • Abba Father, support and hasten the fulfillment of Israel's plans to build more settlements and IDF bases all along the Jordan Valley (Psa. 69:35; Isa. 65:21-22).

   • God of Isaac, promote in Israel's next governing coalition many biblical Zionists who are as zealous as You are to see all of the land of promise come under Israel's rule (Psa. 75:6-7; Ezek. 36:5-12).

   • Abba Father, impart divine strategy to Israel concerning the next steps which are needed in order to expand its sovereignty over all of their land at this time (Psa. 32:8; Isa. 30:21; Luke 9:62).

   • Almighty God of Israel, fulfill Ezekiel 28:25-26 especially during the feast season and execute Your judgments on Israel's enemies inside, as well as outside of the borders of Your land.

   • Lord God, we bless You for always watching over Israel (Psa. 121:4), and ask You to help Israel's security guards at checkpoints and other positions to also be alert and watchful (Gen. 31:1-2).

   • God of Jacob, show the next government how the Palestinian Authority has rejected their obligations to the Oslo Accords, and let Israel openly declare Oslo "null and void" (Psa. 124:1-8).

   • King Yeshua, uncover and stop all terrorist plans against the Jews during the holidays (Psa. 34:16).

8. External security :

   It is hard to discern how God uses Trump's on-again, off-again, war with Iran for His purposes. Yet knowing that God is in control, we pray for what we see is His will as revealed in His Word. Israel is prepared to resume the war if needed, and is fighting against Hizbullah in Lebanon, while also keeping an eye on Syria, Turkey and the Houthis in Yemen.

   • Lord, station more believers on Jerusalem's walls who will ask You to fulfill all Your promises to Israel – for Your holy name's sake (Psa. 115:1-3; Isa. 62:6-7; Jer. 31:10).

   • Encourage Israel's army and people that You are the same God that they read about in the Tanach, so that there are still more with them than with their enemies (2 Kin. 6:15-17; 2 Chr. 32:7-8).

   • We rejoice that in Israel's modern history, Leviticus 26:7-8 has often been fulfilled. More, Lord!

   • Faithful God, fulfill 1 Samuel 2:9-10 from the prophetic reading and judge Israel's enemies.

   • Iran: Lord Yeshua, let Your Body in Iran be as a spiritual Trojan Horse, and guide them in prayer to advance Your Kingdom through the downfall of the Shi'ite Islamic spirit (Psa. 33:22; 118:4; 123:3).

   • Abba, Iran's "king," the Ayatollah, is now destroyed, so please fulfill the rest of Jeremiah 49:38a and also destroy their "princes," Iran's various rulers who fight each other for authority today.

   • King Messiah, set Hamas, the Houthis and Hizbullah as albatrosses around Iran's neck, and separate all of these anti-Christ groups from each other and bring their houses down (Matt. 12:25).

   • Abba, reveal to Israel and the US the current status of Iran's nuclear weapons program (Job 12:22).

   • Hizbullah in Lebanon: Fulfill Isaiah 2:12-13 against Hizbullah – today's arrogant cedars of Lebanon.

   • King Messiah, we asked You to fulfill Joel 2:17-21 and to remove Hizbullah from Israel's northern border, and we thank You for using the IDF to answer those prayers (1 John 5:14-15).

   • Now we ask for a biblical solution to the Lebanese situation, including Israel taking its inheritance in southern Lebanon, and we pray against all politically-correct solutions (Psa. 33:10-11; Isa. 14:24).

   • God, continue dividing the Lebanese government and many of its people from Hizbullah (Psa. 55:9).

   • King Yeshua, show Lebanese believers how to intercede for their nation (1 Tim. 2:1-4).

   • Turkey: Lord God, stir up moderate Turks to overthrow Erdogan's wicked reign (Prov. 28:15; 29:12).

   • King Messiah, use Your Body in Turkey to lead the way in prayer (Psa. 51:15).

   • Lord Yeshua, burden American believers to plead against Trump's "love-affair" with Erdogan before he dangerously helps to upgrade Turkey's army (Prov. 16:5).

   • Abba, if we are watching You move nations to set up Micah 4:11-13, such as the recent Mecca Pact between Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, please lead us in prayer so that we do not pray against that which You are doing to fulfill Your word (Amos 3:7).

   • Other: Lord God, protect Israel's diplomatic dealings with Syria's government (Psa. 5:8; 31:3).

   • Arise, God, against the Houthis and set Your Angel to fight against them (Psa. 35:1-6; 68:1, 30b).

9. Body of Messiah :

   Wielding God's Word in prayer as a spiritual weapon is very powerful. Praying His Word back to Him, asking Him to fulfill what He has promised, or prophesied, gives us confidence that He will hear and answer as His Word reveals His will (1 John 5:14-15).

   • We ask You Lord, that since Your Word never returns to You void (Isa. 55:11), train us to use it as we intercede today (Psa. 144:1; Eph. 6:17b-18).

   • King Messiah, teach Your Body how to use the Tanach more often in prayer (2 Tim. 3:16-17).

   • Lord Yeshua, gift Your Body with more prophets like the sons of Issachar, who will discern the signs of the times and know what Israel, and Your Body, are supposed to do (1 Chr. 12:32).

   • God Almighty, teach Western believers how to pray about the spirit of Islam that has invaded their nations via immigration and is manipulating their leaders to turn their backs on Israel (Eph. 6:12).

   • Almighty God, let the truth revealed in Your Word become the ultimate standard by which the Body judges all that we see, hear and think, and as the foundation for all of our prayers (John 17:17).

   • Abba Father, comfort the American Body as they commemorate the 25th anniversary of the horrific Twin Towers terrorist attack in NYC and give them great wisdom as they pray for their nation's future.

10. Water :

    We have entered the season when we ask God to open the heavens and provide Israel with all of its water needs. The Sea of Galilee is very low and recently there was a issue with most of Israel's desalinization plants that, praise God, has now been basically resolved. Please pray that the Lord of heaven and earth will send a soaking rain upon Israel very soon (Job 5:8-10; Matt. 5:45b).
