1. From this week's prophetic portion.

    • In the year king Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims… And they called unto another, saying, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts. The whole earth is full of His glory.

      Isa. 6:1-3
    • For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder. His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

      Isa. 9:6-7
    • We bless You for being our all mighty and faithful God.

    • Thank You for all the answers to prayers we have seen - and will see in the near future.

    • Yeshua, You are the Lamb of God and we bless You for becoming our Redeemer and Savior.

  2. There has been a shake up in Israel's government this past week. The head of the Labor party, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, and four other Labor MKs [Members of Knesset - Israel's parliament] left Labor and started a new party called Independence. The rest of the Labor MK's left the government, but Independence then rejoined. So Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu's government coalition is still strong. In fact, Bibi sees it as stronger now that those who leaned to the far left - have left!

    • We thank You for dividing Labor since they were the party leading the charge to divide this land.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man [or government] sows, that shall he also reap.

      Gal. 6:7
    • Hedge in Barak (who is still the Defense Minister) and use him for Your glory.

    • Give supernatural strength and wisdom to Bibi and his counselors to know how to steer Israel's ship through all of the rough waters she is in now and will be in, in the near future.

    • We pray this for Israel's PM:

The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water. He turns it whichever way He will.

      Prov. 21:1
    • Remove all Israeli politicians who are just out for their own political careers.

    • Raise up statesmen who will be like the sons of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do… (1 Chr. 12:32)

    • Ultimately, we trust in You, that You will guide, protect and use this nation for Your holy name's sake.

The LORD has prepared His throne in the heavens. His kingdom rules over all.

      Psa. 103:19
  3. Two reports should be issued this coming week, both of which impact Israel and the need for the world to hear truth.

    1. The Turkel Commission is the Israeli created group to look into the Turkish flotilla fiasco, when a ship trying to break Israel's legitimate sea blockade of Gaza was boarded and nine terrorists were killed by IDF troops. The initial indications are that Israel did not commit any war crimes - which is what the world accused her of.

      • We ask for the truth to be revealed.

      • He is the Rock, His work is perfect, for all His ways are just. A God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.

        Deut. 32:4
      • When this report is issued, may those, especially in the Church who have condemned Israel over this, see and receive the truth - and repent.

      • Cleanse Your Body of politically correct thinking and plant deep in our hearts the ability to think biblically and judge all by Your Word.

And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

        Rom. 12:2
      • Encourage both the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] and the Israeli people by this report that it is perfectly legitimate to defend one's nation against attack.

      • Let all Israeli spokespersons use this report with great wisdom and grace.

    2. The UN Tribunal report on the assassination of former Lebanese PM Rafik Hariri is also due out this week. Pre-reports say that Iran's top religious leader, some of Syria's leadership and Hizbullah are all going to be indicted. Hizbullah has already pulled out of the Lebanese government - causing it to fall.

      • Again, release the truth. May it be shouted from the rooftops so that all will hear.

      • Give much wisdom and courage to the nations and their leaders on how to respond to the final results of this investigation.

      • Use the truth in this report to wake up world leaders - especially US President Obama and French President Sarkozy - both of whom talk of supporting an independent Lebanon. Urge them to walk their talk!

      • Bring Hizbullah - this murderous terrorist organization - to shame and destroy it.

Behold, he travails with iniquity, has conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood. He made a pit…and is fallen into the ditch which he made. His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own scalp.

        Psa.7:14-16
      • Take advantage of this and save as many Hizbullah terrorists as possible.

Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek Your name, O LORD.

        Psa. 83:16
      • Use this report to cut off the ties between Iran, Syria and Hizbullah.

Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

        Psa. 129:5
      • Destroy the world's false thinking that it is better to have any sort of "peace" than to deal with terrorists with military might and end their reign of terror.

      • For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

        Rom. 1:18
      • Protect the true Church in Lebanon from anything that is not of You.

  4. With all that is happening up north in Lebanon, as well as the continual rocket attacks from Gaza down south, the IDF needs to be super alert. Also, there is controversy surrounding Yoav Golant, who is the one chosen to replace Gabi Ashkenazi as the IDF Chief of Staff.

    • Yeshua, captain of the hosts of the LORD, please enable the transition between Ashkenazi and Golant - or whomever You want to be in that position - to be smooth and soon.

    • Protect all of the IDF's intelligence contacts in both Lebanon and Gaza.

    • Provide them with accurate, up-to-date intelligence information and a safe method to transfer it to the IDF.

    • Raise up many Rahabs to help Israel - and bless them mightily with a revelation of Yourself.

    • If the IDF needs to make a pre-emptive strike on Hizbullah, give the leadership wisdom, courage and the correct strategy and tactics.

    • Do not allow Israel to be more merciful with Your enemies than You are.

    • Watch over this word:

In that day will I make the governors [allufim = generals in modern Hebrew] of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf. They shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

      Zech. 12:6
    • Enable the IDF to totally destroy these two terror organizations - although have as much mercy as possible on the terrorists and save many.

    • May Israel's Home Front Command and her citizens show great courage and fortitude in the next war - as it is predicted that Israel will be under a huge missile barrage.

    • Yet, through it all we trust in You and Your promises.

Behold, He that guards Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

      Psa. 121:4

He that scattered Israel will gather him, and guard him, as a shepherd does his flock.

      Jer. 31:10
  5. The water crisis is a super dangerous one. Yet persistent prayer can do that which the weather forecasters say is not possible - and enable Israel to have more than enough water for all of its needs.

    • Elijah was a man subject to the same passions as we, yet he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

      Jam. 5:17-18
    • Abba, this land is Yours (Ezek. 36:5; Joel 3:2). You created it for Your glory. Please protect it - especially the Sea of Galilee which is in very bad shape.

    • Yes, Israel is a nation in sin. Yet we remind You of what Messiah Yeshua declared:

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

      Matt. 5:45
    • Abba, with all the dangers Israel is facing, now would be a good time for You to open up those treasuries of Yours that You told Job about.

Have you entered into the treasures of the snow? Or have you seen the treasures of the hail, which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

      Job 38:22-23
    • Lord, hosanna! [Literally a cry for help, "Save now!"]

  6. We prayed for aliyah, the return to Zion of the Jews in exile, with the focus being on all of the Christian organizations that are helping to carry God's people home.

    • Yeshua, show the worldwide Church that this is not some side issue, but something that You are wanting from Your Body.

    • Thus says the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up My hand to the Gentiles, and set up My standard to the people: and they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

      Isa. 49:22
    • We bless You for Ebenezer Emergency Fund/Operation Exodus and all the other Christian organizations that are laboring in this field.

    • Encourage them and give to them wisdom and vision for the future.

    • Provide all the finances that are needed to do that which is on Your heart.

    • Make this a miraculous year for aliyah.

    • In particular, we ask that You would make the younger generation of Jews in exile severely homesick for Zion.

How shall we sing the LORD's song in a strange land? If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. If I do not remember you, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

      Psa. 137:4-6
    • Marry Your people to Your land.

You shall no more be termed forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed desolate, but you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah: for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married. For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you: and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.

      Isa. 62:4-5
  7. This is the last Friday Prayer Alert for the next two weeks as we will begin Intercessors For Israel's International Prayer Conference and Prayer Tour this coming Monday. We really desire for your prayer coverage as this is always a wonderful time in prayer combined with a time of intense spiritual warfare. We will try to make a short daily video update and will send you a link as to where you can see that. Please stand with us as we stand with God for His kingdom purposes to be done in Israel - for His glory.

    • Thank You for this, the 26th annual prayer conference.

    • We bless You for all of the prayers You have heard and answered - and for all of the prayers that have not been answered yet.

    • We even thank You for all the prayers which You have chosen not to answer at all.

    • Lord, teach us how to pray (Luke 11:1).

    • Bless each participant whom You have called to be here, and keep away all whom are not supposed to be here at this time.

    • May we all be where You have placed us.

    • Do not allow anything to keep us away.

    • Protect our health and our families.

    • Give unto the leadership ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying (Rev. 2:11, 17, etc.).

    • Enable us to have a unity in Your Spirit to encourage a deeper cooperate intercession.

    • Give us Your strategy and tactics for these two weeks of intensive cooperate intercession.

    • Protect, guide and inspire the prayer tour.

    • Bless this new hotel and all the staff that will serve us.

    • Enable the communications between IFI's administrative team and the hotel to be clear.

We thank You so much for your faithfulness in prayer.

Shabbat shalom and we hope that many of you will follow us for the next week on the video updates. [www.ifi.org.il]

The IFI Team

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of saints. Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You only are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You; for Your judgments are made manifest.

Rev. 15:3-4
