1. We looked at Psalm 24 to start our time with the Lord.

    • The earth is the LORD's, and it's fullness; the world, and they that dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend to the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in His holy place? He that has clean hands, and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation… Lift up your heads, O you gates, and be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.Lift up your heads, O you gates, lift them up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah.

      Psalms 24:1-10
    • We bless You God, for who You are and all that You are doing.

    • May Your name Yeshua, be glorified in our midst this morning.

  2. Last night, Intercessors For Israel led a corporate prayer meeting in Karmiel, in the north of Israel. About 100 people attended from various northern cities. There were prayers in Hebrew, English, Russian and Arabic, and good participation from all in attendance. In fact, another area-wide IFI corporate prayer meeting is already being planned for three months from now on Mt. Carmel, overlooking Haifa. Our first prayer burden was that this burden to intercede corporately would spread like wildfire throughout the Israeli Body.

    • Abba, we thank You for gathering Your people together last night (Psalm 133:1-3).

    • Lord, place a deep burden on the hearts of the elders in this land to be involved with and promote corporate prayer meetings.

    • May this verse be no longer true for Israel today:

I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

      Ezek. 22:30
    • Lord, may You find many in Israel - and throughout the world - willing to stand in the gap before You for both this nation and for their nations.

    • Protect all who were at last night's meeting from any satanic backlash.

    • Enable the Body to pray in unity on national issues and receive Your specific burden for the areas they live and minister in.

    • Use Intercessors For Israel as You see fit to help raise up intercession both in Israel and wherever else You open up doors for us (1 Cor. 3:6).

  3. Water was the next item that we were led to pray about.

    • Precious Lord, we thank You for all of the rain and snow that has fallen on this nation this past few months (Psalm 68:9).

    • We bless You that the Kinneret [Sea of Galilee] is almost a half a meter above the red line.

    • Lord, we still need about 3.5 meters to see the Kinneret full - and we are asking You to provide that before the rainy season is over [about two more months] (Isaiah 41:17-20).

    • God, we give You glory for making Israel a leading light in the science of desalinization.

    • Thank You for Israel's generosity in sharing all of her water technology with other nations, helping them to deal with their water shortages.

    • The LORD had said unto Abram, Get out of your country, from your kindred, and your father's house, unto a land that I will show you. I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great. And you shall be a blessing:

      Genesis 12:1-2
  4. In line with 1 Timothy 2:1-3, we next prayed for Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu.

    • We thank You for Netanyahu and bless him in the name of his Messiah Yeshua.

    • Lord, You know that he is not the most popular politician in Israel, or the rest of the world. So we ask that You protect him from any assassination attempts.

    • Encourage and strengthen him to accomplish that for which You have raised him up for at this time in Israel's history.

    • Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shall you divide for an inheritance the land, which I swore unto their fathers to give them.

      Josh. 1:6
    • Raise up a Barnabas to stand alongside and encourage him at all times.

    • Prepare him for his early March trip to the US - including a meeting with President Obama.

    • Concerning that meeting, we remind You of Your promise in Numbers 23:23:

Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel. According to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What has God wrought!

    • Bless his family. Protect his wife and sons from all attacks - especially from the media.

  5. Receiving godly counsel is absolutely vital for Netanyahu. Therefore, we prayed for it.

    • Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.

      Prov. 11:14; also 15:22
    • Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.

      Prov. 20:18; also 24:6
    • Surround him with wise counselors and enable unwise counsel to fall on deaf ears.

    • Raise up anointed counselors to aid Bibi at this specific time.

  6. Each week that passes without the Iranian threat being dealt with, brings Israel - and the rest of the world - that much closer to disaster. Leaders in the West cannot be that blind that they do not see the game Iran's leaders are playing - and yet they continue to talk about sanctions as if that will accomplish anything. Both Cuba and North Korea have been under sanctions for decades without any results whatsoever. So we must continue to watch and pray into this situation.

    • Lord, cause Iran's leadership to make such major mistakes that even the blind shepherds who lead Western nations see what their game is (Psalm 129:5).

    • Push the spiritual prince of Persia (Dan. 10:13) to overplay his hand.

    • You said You would 'curse those who curse' Your people (Gen. 12:3). Lord, hear what Ahmadinejad and Khomeini say about Israel and the Jews, and curse their demonic plans.

    • Lord of hosts, whatever it takes, prevent Iran from obtaining weapons of mass destruction.

    • Can we suggest that pushing them to close the Straits of Hormuz would put the proverbial cat among the pigeons!

    • Like You did with Haman of old, so do with 'Persia's' current leadership and let the gallows that they are preparing for the Jews be turned against them (Esther 7:10).

    • God, physically shake that nation - especially the areas under their nuclear facilities.

    • God, glorify Your name in Iran. Save multitudes and remove their wicked shepherds.

And I will set My throne in Elam [ancient Persia], and will destroy from there the king and the princes, says the LORD.

      Jer. 49:38
  7. If God does not deal with Iran sovereignly, or if He chooses not to wake up the West, then Israel will most likely turn its' covert war against Iran into a major military attack. And this could be God's will, as He has prophesied that when Israel is brought back to the land, He would make of them a mighty army - for His glory!

    • Then He said unto me, Prophesy unto the wind [spirit]…son of man, and say…Thus says the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O [spirit], and breathe upon these slain [the whole house of Israel v.11], that they may live. So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the [spirit] came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

      Ezek. 37:9-10
    • When I have bent Judah for Me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and made you as the sword of a mighty man. YHWH shall be seen over them, and His arrow shall go forth as the lightning…YHWH of hosts shall defend them, and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones…They shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because YHWH is with them…I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them, for I have mercy on them, and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am YHWH their God, and will hear them.

      Zech. 9:13-15a; 10:5-6; see also Deut. 33:26-29; Isa. 41:10-16; Jer. 51:19-24; Mic. 4:11-13; Zech. 12:6-9
    • Thank You that Netanyahu recently confessed that You were on Israel's side against this threat, as well as saying that Israel has a right - even a responsibility - to defend itself.

    • If Israel needs to deal with Iran militarily, give Israel's leaders Your wisdom and timing.

    • Enable the IDF to use the correct weapons and to be super-creative in its tactics.

    • Give to Israel's military industry wisdom to create new weapons systems if need be.

    • Blessed be the LORD my strength, who teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to fight. My goodness, my fortress, my high tower, and my deliverer, my shield, and He in whom I trust…

      Psa. 144:1-2a
    • Sow panic among Israel's enemies - like You have done so often in the past (Exo. 14:25; Judg. 7:19-22; 1 Sam. 17:50-51; 2 Kin. 7:5-7.)

    • Make Israel a world leader in cyber-warfare techniques.

    • Expose all of the hidden plans of the enemy.

We finished by praying for our brothers and sisters in the Church who are blind to what God is doing with Israel in these days. We asked God for mercy for any who are actually resisting what God is doing with all of His heart and soul (Jer. 32:41). As for the wolves in sheep's clothing, who are preaching blasphemous doctrines, we asked the Lord to expose them and save His flock from them - for His holy name's sake.

Shabbat shalom

and may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.

May you shall see your children's children.
