Oh, give ear, Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock; You who are enthroned above the cherubim, shine forth! Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up Your power and come to save us! O God, restore us and cause Your face to shine upon us, and we will be saved.

Psalm 80:1-3

We praise the Lord for being the true shepherd of Israel and we pray that His Name would be glorified through His people!

  1. We prayed concerning the situation around Gaza. Over the last week, more than 300 rockets have been fired into Israel from Gaza. Israel has responded, but the rockets have not stopped. Three days ago, the Egyptians claimed that they had brokered a ceasefire, but rockets have continued to fall despite the "ceasefire". The Israeli people who live around Gaza are under constant threat. The situation could very quickly turn into a full conflict if things progress they way they are now. We prayed:

    • Give wisdom to the leadership of Israel to know how and when to respond.

    • Show our leaders what they need to do in order to protect our people from this barrage of missiles.

    • May or military be prepared for what ever is coming next.

    • Let there be unity among the leadership to know what needs to be done.

    • Bring the IDF good intelligence to know where the rockets are coming from and how to stop them.

    • May the IDF's response be quick and surgical.

    • We ask that You would be the shield of Israel.

The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

      Psalm 18:2
    • We ask that you would keep those communities safe in the South that are under attack.

    • Bring comfort to the people living in the shadow of this threat. Give them peace and rest.

    • Let the children who are growing up in this reality know that they have a hope and a future in the God of Israel.

For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

      Jeremiah 29:11
    • May Your Body in the South be a light in the midst of the darkness brought on by fear.

  2. We continued our prayer watch concerning the threat posed by Iran. There has been so much rhetoric over the few weeks that there is no way of knowing what plans are being made and when this "window" of opportunity for diplomacy might close. We continue to ask the Lord to intervene and that Israel would be ready to act if the Lord decrees it. We prayed:

    • Strengthen the government of Israel to make the decisions that need to be made concerning Iran.

    • Deliver us Lord from this threat of nuclear attack!

    • We pray You would use every instrument at Your disposal to take care of these wicked plans.

    • Prepare all of Israel for the possibility that you might use this nation as a tool in Your hand to bring down this Iranian threat.

    • Let them give glory to the LORD and declare His praise in the coastlands. The LORD will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies.

      Isaiah 42:12-13
    • We ask that that You would go forth in battle against Your enemies and the enemies of Your people Israel.

    • Confuse and confound Your enemies Lord!

    • O my God, make them like the whirling dust, like chaff before the wind. Like fire that burns the forest and like a flame that sets the mountains on fire, so pursue them with Your tempest and terrify them with Your storm. Fill their faces with dishonor, that they may seek Your name, O LORD. Let them be ashamed and dismayed forever, and let them be humiliated and perish, that they may know that You alone, whose name is the LORD, are the Most High over all the earth.

      Psalm 83:13-18
    • May Israel receive help from an unexpected place.

    • Let waves of Your Salvation hit that nation and bring many to know Yeshua!

Then I will set My throne in Elam and destroy out of it the king and princes, declares the LORD.

      Jeremiah 49:38
  3. In the wake of the recent "Christ at the Checkpoint" conference, we felt it was crucial to pray for the Body of Messiah. There is much confusion and disagreement concerning how to respond as a Body to this conference. As a Body, we need discernment and clarity on how to respond to the effects this conference could have on the Body. We prayed:

    • Give supernatural discernment to the leaders to know how to respond to what took place in Bethlehem.

    • We ask that the truth of Your Word would be lifted up and not anyone's social agenda.

    • We ask that You would contain anything from this conference that would bring division and deception to the Body.

    • Set the Body free from the Replacement Theology!

    • Expose anything spoken that would undermine the authority of Your Word.

    • May we be able to see to the very roots of what was said and past the charismatic way it was spoken.

    • Have mercy on us and deliver us from confusion.

    • Give us more clarity and revelation about what Your Word says.

    • May any damaging spiritual waves go no further than the building in which the conference took place.

    • So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

      John 8:31-32

Set us free from lies and let us walk in the Truth of Your whole person Yeshua!

  4. We thanked the Lord for the rain today and the abundance that has been poured out this winter. The Sea of Galilee is a full 1.25 meters above the red line! This is the first time in many years it has been so high. Even though we praise the Lord for the rain we had, we continue to ask that the Lord would supply the additional 3 meters the Sea of Galilee needs to be full. We prayed:

    • For He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

      Matthew 5:45b
    • Continue to have mercy on this Nation Lord and send rain to fill up our sources of water.

    • We thank You for answering our prayers with a wet winter!

    • May we always be thankful for what ever rain You give!

    • Let us continue to conserve and not see the abundance of rain as a sign that we can be free with our water consumption.

  5. We ended by praying for our leaders Chuck and Eliyahu. Eliyahu is back in the Land after a conference in the States, so we prayed for him be able to recuperate. Chuck will be in the States until April, so we asked the Lord to guard and watch over our dear brother as he shares the truth of God's Word.

Shabbat Shalom from the IFI team!
