1. I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.

    • Thank you, God for being constant, faithful and true. Your promises are "yes" in Yeshua. You will return!

    • Hodu l'Adonai ki tov ki leolam chasdo. Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His mercies endure forever!

  2. Israel's position vis-à-vis Iran

    As Iran is rushing towards the production of a nuclear weapon, Israel hesitates because of an ungodly connection with the USA. Pray that:

    • God would cut off all ungodly ties with the US which may affect Israel's decision whether to attack Iran. The ties may be political, financial, relational, soul ties.

    • Israel's talk of being responsible for our own interests would become reality.

    • These ungodly ties would be exposed and broken.

    • Israel's leadership would be free to act in Israel's best interests.

    • The nation of Israel would know that You, God, are our defence if we walk in integrity before You.

    • Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.

      Proverbs 3:5-8

    • Deliver our leaders from dependence on/fear of the US.

    • Break our addiction to wealth and to our being connected to wealthier countries.

    • Shield our leaders from the arrows of manipulation and control.

  3. Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu

    • Thus Josiah removed all the abominations from all the country that belonged to the children of Israel, and made all who were present in Israel diligently serve the Lord their God. All his days they did not depart from following the Lord God of their fathers.

      2 Chronicles 34:33

    • Make Bibi Netanyahu truly walk out the words he is speaking.

    • Let him lead the nation back to the Lord as King Josiah did.

    • The Prime Minister's name means Son of the right hand (Benyamin) He is God's gift (Netanyahu). May he indeed be Your gift to this people!

    • May he come into relationship with You through Yeshua!

    • Give him the integrity to live out Your word.

    • Remove his need to buy support through political compromise within his government.

    • And their governor shall come from their midst; Then I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach Me; For who is this who pledged his heart to approach Me? says the Lord.

      Jeremiah 30:21

    • May Bibi seek You with all his heart. May he be led by Your Spirit!

    • Make him strong and mighty in spirit!

    • Give him wisdom, direction, wise counsel, strength and the courage to make the right decisions and act on them!

    • Give him backbone!

  4. Iran

    A power struggle is going on in Iran between President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the Ayatollah Khamenei. Khamenei and the other ruling ayatollah's have curtailed some of the President's power which could make him resentful and keen to cause trouble. His belief in the imminent return of the 12th imam and his desire to expedite this event make him all the more dangerous. As we prayed intensively at the prayer conference in January, we continued to pray for Iran to make mistakes.

    • Because your rage against Me and your tumult have come up to My ears, therefore I will put My hook in your nose and My bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way which you came.

      Isaiah 37:29

    • Put Your hook in their nose and Your bridle in their lips and bring them down for judgment!

    • Make them desperate so they make mistakes, but protect Israel from the increased danger!

    • Bring them to close the Straits of Hormuz so the rest of the world will see how dangerous and irrational they are!

    • Make Israel ready to respond to this!

    • May this be the beginning of the end of this evil regime!

    • Bring about disunity, confusion and chaos in the Iranian military!

    • As the Iranian people to see the divisions and weakness, cause them to rise up against the regime!

    • Protect, empower and give wisdom to all our believing brothers and sisters in Iran!

  5. Syria

    A ceasefire declared by the United Nations Security Council is having no effect on the ground in Syria. Meanwhile, the more desperate President Assad gets, the more likely it becomes that he will turn on Israel to take the focus off himself. It also appears that Russia may be becoming more active in its support for Assad, which may embolden him to attack Israel. Syria is believed to have one of the world's largest stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons.

    • Make Israel ready for what may happen and to have a plan!

    • Keep our forces alert to all the dangers - Iran, Syria, Gaza and others and not distracted by one set of events from keeping our eyes open to all the other threats.

    • Give wisdom to our military leaders to place our forces in the right places where they will be needed.

    • Prepare Israel to pre-empt if Syria starts to move weapons into Lebanon!

    • If this is not the time for the war of Ezekiel 38 - 39, pull Russia out of Syria!

    • No weapon formed against you (Israel) shall prosper.

      Isaiah 54:17

      Amen Lord!

    • Have mercy, Lord on the believers in Syria. Guard and protect them. Give them wisdom when to stay and when to flee. Make them a light in this dark situation and reveal Yourself to many in Syria!

  6. Aliyah

    This week's murder of a Jewish man and three children in Toulouse, France is yet another signal that it is time for the 750000 Jews in France to come home to Israel. Anti- Semitism is rising in France as it is everywhere. This should motivate Jews to come home from all the nations to which they have been scattered.

    • May the Jewish people not miss this call to come home. Stir their hearts to come!

    • Remove the illusion that Jews are safer in the more "advanced" societies of Western countries.

    • Shake the Jews out of their comfort zone!

    • May Israel's government proclaim boldly that Israel is the home for the Jews!

    • Pour out Your Spirit upon rabbis and upon fathers to lead congregations and families home to Israel!

    • Let the return of the Jews to Israel be for (Your) holy name's sake!(Ezekiel 36:22)

  7. Removal of leaven from the Body of Messiah

    Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

    1 Corinthians 5:6-8

    As Passover approaches we are all exhorted to clear out the leaven from our lives. The Body of Messiah needs to be serious about the leaven and to get rid of wrong teaching, wrong thinking, wrong understanding.

    • Lord, help us to remove the leaven from all of our lives and make our hearts totally for You!

    • Help us to examine ourselves in humility and to be free from the "we have arrived" attitude which can be around in the Messianic community.

    • Help IFI to examine ourselves and allow You to change us!

    • May Your Body cry out for discernment to distinguish truth from lies, especially the lies of humanism!

    • May Your Body not be deceived or misled by distortions of your word!

    • May we know the truth, stand on the truth, love the truth, embrace the truth, proclaim the truth, live by the truth, be sanctified by the truth!

    • Give us all we need in order to live out Your truth!

    • Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit.

      Psalm 51:10-12

  8. Christ at the Checkpoint conference

    There have been many reverberations within the Messianic Body following this conference. Some appear to have been won over by the appearance of love and acceptance that they have been deaf to the deceptions of distortions of God's word. We need to pray against this powerful humanistic stream in the Body.

    Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

    Isaiah 5:20-21

    • Give discernment between truth and lies and wisdom to cleanse the leaven from the Body!

    • Remove those not willing to uphold the full council of God from Genesis to Revelation!

    • Remove error and lies and bring forth purification and truth!

    • Open our eyes!

    • Deliver us from a spirit of compromise, compromising the truth for the appearance of unity!

    • May we not be deceived by how we feel but may we run to the truth!

    • Turn what the enemy purpose for evil to good!

  9. This weekend:

    • May the Holy Spirit visit every congregation of believers and may it be the truth which sets Your people free!

    • Spirit of the living God fall afresh on us! Break us, melt us, mould us, fill us, use us! Spirit of the living God fall afresh on us!
