1. For You, Lord, are most high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.

    Psalm 97:9
    • You are the "shomer Israel" the keeper of Israel.

    • Thank You God for Your goodness and for providing us with all we need!

    • Thank You for revealing Yourself to us. Thank You that You loved us first.

    • Thank You that You lead us into all truth.

    • Thank You for blessing Israel with a measure of stability at this time while we see economic and political turmoil all around us.

    • Lord give us Your wisdom, direction, power, knowledge, revelation. Give us fear of You and may we delight to do Your will.

    • Protect us and bring us into line with Your will. Give us eyes to see what You see and to know what is on Your heart.

  2. Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; the mountains shall drip with sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it. I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; they shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them. I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them, says the Lord your God.

    Amos 9:13-15
    • We gave thanks that we see prophecy being fulfilled day by day before our eyes. One of our brothers who lives in the Judean Hills testifies, "Whenever I turn around a new vineyard has appeared!"

    • Thank you Lord that You are bringing back Your people and You are restoring us to our own land.

    • Thank You that Your people are planting vineyards and we are drinking the wine from them, (and so are people in many nations throughout the world)!

    • We shouldn't be surprised to see this. You said it. We should expect You to do it. You are faithful. You mean what You say.

    • Thank You that You have loved Israel with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3)

  3. For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.

    Ezekiel 36:24
    • We prayed for more aliyah:

    • God, open the hearts of Jews today, to know Your call to come home!

    • Thank You that we have a land to return to.

    • Please uphold Your name, the name of the God of Israel against the attempts to delegitimize Your name - in the community of the nations (eg the UN), in the media, in the Jewish community.

    • Break down the barriers to aliyah. - the opposition of Israel's Interior Ministry to aliyah, particularly of Messianic Jews, prejudices against immigrant groups within Israeli society, the economic sacrifices Jews are reluctant to make to come home to Israel.

    • Thank You, Lord that Your word is sure so the aliyah will happen and is happening.

  4. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God. I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses.

    Ezekiel 36:25-29
    • Lord, cleanse the land and the people!

    • Remove the veil so that Your people would recognize You for who You are!

    • Israeli society is torn by divisions: eg religious Jews fighting with the secular over the observance of Shabbat; settlers fighting against the evacuation of certain settlement neighborhoods; immigrant communities fighting against deportation back to their countries of origin; differences based on color, language, wealth; theological differences which separate believers in the body of Messiah.

    • Pray that the Lord would pour the clean water of His unity on this nation that we might miraculously be brought into unity and these divisions would be swept away.

    • Often it's only in times of war that such unity comes to the nation. If it has to be war which brings us into this unity, then so be it, Lord! Turn our hearts to You! Make us desperate!

  5. Major General Amir Eshel is the recently appointed Head of the Israel Air Force and also Head of IDF Planning. He identifies three key areas of strategic planning and we prayed into each of these:
    - Unity between the government and the military
    - How to develop the IDF
    - Cooperation with the military in other nations

    • Lord, give unity. Give good communications between the government and the military leadership. May they speak with one voice! Give them ears to hear what each other are saying.

    • Give wisdom, Lord, to those developing new weapons systems and new strategies! Give them grace to make plans for all eventualities and the anointing to get them right

    • Give the government wisdom to understand Your priorities for equipping the Israeli armed forces. Let the money be allocated where it is needed and may the political leaders never sacrifice national security in the interests of short-term political or personal gain.

    • Give our leaders wisdom to know whom to trust and whom not to trust. May they know what information to share and when and what information they must keep to themselves.

  6. Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O God! For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more. For they have consulted together with one consent; they form a confederacy against You: The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites; Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assyria also has joined with them; they have helped the children of Lot. Selah. Deal with them as with Midian, as with Sisera, as with Jabin at the Brook Kishon, Who perished at En Dor, who became as refuse on the earth. Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna, Who said, "Let us take for ourselves the pastures of God for a possession." O my God, make them like the whirling dust, like the chaff before the wind! As the fire burns the woods, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire, So pursue them with Your tempest, and frighten them with Your storm. Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O Lord. Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; yes, let them be put to shame and perish, That they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth.

    Psalm 83
    • As our enemies are acting in many ways just as the word of the Psalm declare, we prayed for God to act according to these words also.

    • Confuse your enemies and fulfill Your purposes in Iran, Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestinian Authority, Gaza.

    • Turn Your enemies to You that they may know that You are the most high over all the earth.

    • As with Midian, turn your enemies against one another. (Judges 7:22)

    • Help us to understand what You are doing in Syria today. If You are turning our enemies against each other, thank You! and may it be so that they will know You!

    • Bring confusion in the Iranian regime and use this to dismantle the power of Islam in the hearts and minds of the people.

    • Break the alliances between Iran, Syria and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

    • Restore the historical friendship Israel once had with Lebanon.

    • Continue to fan the conflict between Hamas and Fatah to bring disunity so that they are not able to undermine Israel.

  7. Despite Israel's troubles tourists continue to flock to Israel in record numbers. The first three months of 2012 broke the record for numbers of tourists. A large proportion of these tourists are Christians.

    • This weekend in St Petersburg, Russia a conference is being hosted by the St Petersburg branch of the International Christian Embassy, Jerusalem. This will bring together many Christians and also representatives of Jewish organizations the World Jewish Congress and the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus. Is this a new thing which the Lord is doing in relations between Christians and Jews specifically concerning Israel?

    • They shall bring your sons in their arms, And your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.

      Isaiah 49:22
    • If this is a new thing You are doing, Lord, do it! And give Your people eyes to see and ears to hear what You are doing!

    • Please bring more and more believers to visit Israel. And give them a vision for all You are doing in restoring Your land and Your people for Your name's sake, to make Your name a praise in the earth!

  8. This week our brothers Eliyahu, Chuck and Devin are taking part in a Prayer Conference in Scotland.

    • Lord, give unity between them!

    • Anoint the communications between the leadership and between them and all the conference participants.

    • Equip Your people to return to their homes to continue in prayer and to equip others to pray with understanding of Your purposes for Israel and for their own nations.

    • Watch over the health and strength of our brothers and bring them home safely when they have completed all you have called them to do.

    • Protect their families and give them peace while Eliyahu, Chuck and Devin are away from home.

Shabbat Shalom!
