1. Praise and Thanksgiving:

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

    Philippians 4:4-7

    Thank You, Lord:

    • That You are King over the nations.

    • That Yeshua died and rose again.

    • That Your word is stable and sure and doesn't shake in a shaking world.

    • For the glory of Your creation.

    • For mercy and grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

    • As You live we live. You give us true life in union with Yourself.

    • You watch over Israel and neither slumber nor sleep. (Psalm 121:4)

    • You call us out of darkness into Your glorious light. (1 Peter 2:9)

    • That we can come before Your throne and speak to You, and You make a way.

    • Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His mercies endure forever (Hodu l'Adonai ki tov, ki leolam chasdo.)

      Psalm 118:1
  2. Syria:

The leaders of the G8 nations met this week, plainly revealing the opposing views of Russia and the USA over the conflict in Syria. While Russia's Putin clearly aligns himself with Syria and with Iran and the Bible is clear that there will be a war as outlined in Ezekiel 38 and 39, we need to pray that this will only take place in God's perfect time. Our sense is that this is not yet the right time.
    Pray:

    • That the war in Syria would not spill over into Israel nor expand into a regional war.

    • For God's will to be done in and through the Syrian conflict.

    • For God's perfect timing of the Gog-Magog war.

    • Keep Israel's leaders and soldiers watchful and ready for the war when it comes.

    • Keep Israel's northern border secure. Plug the gaps which the IDF cannot cover.

    • Provide Israel with accurate intelligence, particularly regarding Syria's chemical weapons.

    • May these weapons be found and destroyed.

    • Contain and hold back the supplies of more weapons.

    • Following more "stray" shooting this week coming into Israel, protect the Israeli residents of the Golan Heights.

    • Make the believers on the Golan Your light to all those around them.

We have been hearing some reports of Syrian Christians being targeted and murdered.
    Pray:

    • Make Your people ambassadors for Your kingdom. Make them lights in the darkness of hatred all around them.

    • Help them to know that You will never leave them nor forsake them. (Hebrews 13:5)

    • May they know when to stand, when to hide, when to flee.

  3. Iran:

Last week's presidential election was won by Hassan Rohani heralded by the world as a "moderate". Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu has spoken clearly of how this makes no difference to Iran's nuclear program which is firmly in the hands of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and the mullahs around him. With Ahmadinejad now out of office the nations of the world may be eager to use this change as an excuse to do nothing. Does this make it even more likely that Israel will need to take pre-emptive military action?
    Pray:

    • Please help us to understand what is really going on in Iran.

    • Help the world and especially the Church to see where the change is just a different "spin" and there is really no change.

    • Thank You that Netanyahu has spoken out in the way that he has. May he be heard.

    • Continue, Lord, to prepare Israel for what she needs to do, and for the reactions from Iran and the rest of the world.

    • Reveal through Israel's intelligence network the truth of what is actually going on in Iran.

    • Continue to hold the Iranian nuclear program back through technical failures, accidents, earthquakes.

    • We even ask that the nuclear facilities would be swallowed up by the earth.

  4. Israel and the Palestinians:

The Israeli government is coming under ever-increasing pressure from the USA (John Kerry) and the EU (Catherine Ashton) to engage with the Palestinians. Meanwhile the new Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority, Rami Hamdallah, has become the former Prime Minister, resigning after only two weeks in office. There has been some public discord within Israel's government as Naftali Bennett has spoken of the idea of a two-state solution reaching a dead end.
    Pray:

    • Give Binyamin Netanyahu and the members of his cabinet Your divine wisdom for how to act and what to say regarding the Palestinians.

    • Give strength to Netanyahu and use him as an instrument in Your hand.

    • Protect Israel from the attempts at manipulation by the nations of the world.

    • Thank You for Naftali Bennett's stand on the two-state solution.

    • Cut off Israel from all unhealthy dependence on the other nations and from her desire to be like all the other nations. (see 1 Samuel 8)

    • May Israel's leaders turn to You and to Your word. May they come to know Your Son, Yeshua.

    • Thank You for regular Bible studies in the Knesset and in the Prime Minister's residence. Speak to the leaders of Israel in these gatherings and most of all meet with them in private when they are alone!

  5. The IDF:

With the threats from Hezbollah, Syria, Iran as well as continued threats from terror cells in the Sinai, it is a frightening time to be called up for service in the IDF. But at this time of year young people are finishing their exams at school at preparing their call-up. More and more are choosing not to serve for reasons of principle or religion. The plans for legislation to recruit most of the haredim (ultra-orthodox) are still proceeding through the Knesset.
    Pray:

    • For the IDF to be a tool in God's hand.

    • For the young people of Israel (especially the believers in Yeshua) to be willing to be used in the service of the nation.

    • Impart a vision for the nation and for the land among the youth of Israel.

    • Give rest, energy, alertness to those who are already involved in IDF service.

    • Anoint Chief of Staff Benny Gantz for his role in leadership of the IDF.

    • Give the leadership of the IDF Your wisdom in deployment of forces in the faces of the different threats to Israel's security.

    • Give wisdom in the implementation of discipline within the whole structure of the IDF.

    • Protect Israeli soldiers and also civilians from all kidnapping attempts.

    • At times of fear cause them to turn to the Lord.

  6. The Body of Messiah (The Church) in the nations.

    Pray:

    • Give Your people throughout the world revelation of what You are doing in Israel and for Israel. Remove the deception of Replacement Theology.

    • Give revelation that the return, restoration and redemption of Israel are Your passions and central to the overall plans You have for the world. May the Church worldwide understand all these things as a spiritual matter and a spiritual battle they need to engage in.

    • Thank You for those nations and churches and believers who are not corrupted by Replacement Theology.

    • Pour out a spirit of prayer for Your purposes regarding Israel and the Jewish people.

    • Give a spirit of repentance in the Church for her ignorance of Israel and rejection of Israel.

    • Amid growing opposition, enable those understanding the truth to speak out the truth.

    • Enable Intercessors for Israel to continue to speak truth and to teach and equip others to speak truth.

  7. The Body of Messiah in Israel.

    Pray:

    • Pour out a spirit of unity which draws Your people to one another and unites us around the truth.

    • Protect Your people from deception.

    • Give Your people in Israel a stronger clearer vision for Your purposes in and through the Jewish people in the land of Israel.

    • Draw Your people together to pray.

    • Thank You for times when we come together and You bless us with Your presence.

  8. IFI Leaders:
