1. We began our time together listening how Yeshua instructed His followers to pray, In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:9-10)

    • Thank You, Lord that every new day is a blessing out of Your hand.

    • ‘O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder consider all the works Thy hand hath made… How great Thou art. How great Thou art!’

    • You are our Lord and king!

    • Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

      Psalm 103:1
    • You are our life and the length of our days. We thank You for life! (Deuteronomy 30:20)

    • You are the same yesterday, today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

    • You number the hairs on our heads. (Matthew 10:30)

    • You are the alpha and the omega the beginning and the end. (Revelation 1:8)

    • You neither slumber nor sleep. (Psalm 121:4)

  2. Bomb threats on Jewish communities
during recent weeks there has been a wave of bombing threats against Jewish community centers across the USA as well as in Toronto and London. We prayed for the responses of the Jewish people, of the nations where they are living, of Israel and of the Church.

    • Thank You, Lord that these have been threats and not actually bombs.

    • Lord, let the nations involved deal promptly and severely with those who are making these threats.

    • May the increase in tension drive the Jewish people to make Aliyah and come home to Israel. Open their hearts towards returning home.

    • Afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

      Jeremiah 16:16
    • Lord, rather than just blaming governments and others, let Your people take responsibility for their own security and come home.

    • Wake up the Church, especially in America, to the reality that these are attacks against You, and to support Your people in making Aliyah.

    • Give Israel’s leaders wisdom in what they say and let them put everything in place to welcome the people home.

    • Let a “Welcome mat” be laid out at the Ministry of Interior so they will be looking to welcome new immigrants home rather than find every way they can to keep immigrants away.

  3. Binyamin Netanyahu
Israel’s Prime Minister continues to be surrounded by much media attention focused on allegations of misusing his position – receiving gifts, exerting influence on behalf of friends, etc. This is creating political unrest as some anticipate the possibility of Netanyahu being pushed out of office and position themselves in order to take his place, or consider possible early elections. (The next elections are due in 2019.)

    • Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.

      Proverbs 14:34
    • Lord, we ask You to expose sin and reward righteousness.

    • May these investigations against the Prime Minister lead to nothing, unless he has indeed acted wrongly.

    • Keep Bibi focused on the job of leading the nation rather than being distracted by these constant investigations.

    • Guard and protect his family and keep them at peace with each other.

    • Keep Bibi in the job of Prime Minister for as long as it is Your will. Prepare the leader or leaders of Your choosing who will eventually take his place. Give them a discernment of Your calling and a spirit of service towards You and Your people.

    • Hedge in those in the Likud Party who are out to stab Bibi in the back.

  4. Donald Trump and Mahmoud Abbas
the two men are due to speak on the phone today (Friday).

    • Harden the heart of Mahmoud Abbas (Exodus 9:12) so that he will show his true colors, revealing his stubbornness and arrogance, making outrageous demands of the US President.

    • Give wisdom and discernment to Donald Trump that he may recognize that Abbas and his friends are not true peacemakers.

    • May Trump reveal himself as a true friend of Israel.

    • Prepare Israel’s leaders to act, to speak and to be silent as necessary in the aftermath of this conversation.

  5. Russia
Netanyahu visited Russia this week for talks with Vladimir Putin, making it clear that Israel will not tolerate any permanent Iranian or Hezbollah presence in Syria, in particular on the Golan Heights.

    • Thank You that Bibi made Israel’s position clear regarding Iran.

    • May Israel’s leadership be completely united regarding this “red line” and how to respond to violations.

    • Build and maintain a strong working unity between Prime Minister Netanyahu, Defense Minister Liberman and Chief of Staff Eisenkott.

    • Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:12) Make this true for these three men.

    • Let every secret agreement between Israel and Russia be kept secret and every public agreement be clearly communicated and understood.

    • Help Putin to recognize that Iran is not Russia’s friend either.

  6. Purim
This festival commemorates the rescue of the Jews from a death edict in the Persian Empire of the 5th century B.C. Haman was the originator of this edict and it was overcome by Queen Esther risking her own life. (Vladimir Putin extended Purim greetings to Bibi Netanyahu at their meeting this week, suggesting some measure of understanding of Israel’s position vis-à-vis Iran) Purim is celebrated in Israel today (Saturday night to Monday night) with parties, costumes and fun often overflowing into drunkenness and much occult imagery.

    • Thank You for rescuing Your people in the days of Queen Esther and multiple times since!

    • Please ignite something fresh in the hearts of the people of Israel recognizing that it’s You who protect us. Let many turn to You at this time.

    • And in every province and city, wherever the king’s command and decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a holiday. Then many of the people of the land became Jews, because fear of the Jews fell upon them. (Esther 8:17) Make Purim a time of salvation that many turn to You, as fear of the Lord falls upon them.

    • Protect Your people as they celebrate Purim this year. Affirm all that is good and drive back the evil – the occult, drunkenness, etc. Guard and watch over our children and youth.

    • Give Israel’s people alertness towards possible terrorism at this time. Anoint the security services and give a sense of responsibility to every resident in the land.

  7. The Negev
During the recent IFI prayer tour, we spent much of the time in the barren dry desert expanses of Southern Israel which constitute the Negev. Like many before us we pray for the continued development of this underpopulated area of Eretz Israel. We delight to see many places which are already blossoming and fruitful as promised in God’s word.

    • For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness will be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.

      Isaiah 51:3
    • Thank You for all the little examples of Eden which we already see when we are in the desert.

    • Thank You that when the Jewish people return to the land, You bless it with abundant fruitfulness. We look forward to the Negev being filled.

    • The captives of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad shall possess the cities of the Negev. (Obadiah 20) Call the Sephardim (a common term for Spanish-speaking Jews) to inhabit the Negev.

    • Call Your people, including more Messianic Jews, to develop the desert.

    • Give wisdom to those creating the infrastructure for developing the Negev – water, electricity supplies, roads, railways. Thank You for what we can already see – huge solar electric fields, water desalination plants, etc.

  8. Bedouin
Many of those already inhabiting the desert are Bedouin, traditionally nomadic Arab tribes who can be an obstacle to Western-style development and settlement of the land. Bedouin make up some 3.5% of the total population of Israel. There are many Bedouin already involved in Israeli society, serving in a special Bedouin unit in the IDF.

    • Thank You for the ways in which the Bedouin are a blessing in Israel.

    • Make them more and more a blessing and less of an obstacle to development.

    • I will bless those who bless you (Genesis 12:3). Help the Bedouin to recognize the truth of this promise to those who bless the Jewish people.

    • Give the Israeli authorities wisdom and creativity in finding ways to absorb the Bedouin more into mainstream Israeli life.

  9. Body of Messiah

    • Thank You for the growing Body of Messiah – those who believe in Yeshua in Israel.

    • Bless their celebrations of Purim this weekend.

    • Call more believers to settle in the Negev.

    • Bless the pastors and leaders. Let them listen to Your voice and hear it. Raise up new leaders.

    • Give Your people spiritual soundness – discernment of good and evil, of wholesome teaching and false teaching .

    • Give boldness to Your people to live openly in the land as believers in Yeshua. Perfect love casts out fear. (1 John 4:18)

  10. Chuck in Germany
Our brother Chuck Cohen is ministering in Germany alongside Heinz-Jurgen Heuhsen of IFI-Deutschland. Please pray for his safety and strength and for anointing on all his teaching.

Shabbat Shalom and Purim Sameach (a joyful Purim) from Jerusalem!
