1. We began by reading from Galatians.

    • O foolish Galatians, who bewitched you not to obey the truth, to whom before your eyes Yeshua the Messiah was openly set forth among you as crucified? …Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law, or by hearing of faith? Are you so foolish, having begun in the Spirit, do you now become mature by the flesh? …He that ministers the Spirit to you, working powerful works among you, is it by works of the law, or by hearing of faith? Even as Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteous-ness. Therefore those walking by faith - they are the sons of Abraham, and the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the gentiles through faith, preached the gospel to Abraham, saying, In you shall all nations be blessed [Gen. 12:3b].

      Galatians 3:1-9
    • Thank You that Your desire to save gentiles was integral in Your initial call on Father Abraham.

    • Bless You for making the way of salvation so clear and simple (Romans 10:9).

    • Hallelujah! Regards of what happens, You are still on the throne, ruling the universe (Psalm 103:19).

    • We rejoice that even this wicked Iran deal has not taken heaven by surprise.

    • Your faithfulness is part of who You are, so we can rest in that.

    • Faithful is He who called you, who also will do it.

      1 Thessalonians 5:24
    • Bless You for watching over Your Word to bring it to pass (Jeremiah 1:11-12).

    • You are building Jerusalem and You are gathering Your scattered people back home (Psalm 147:2).

    • [Early this morning, some Muslim men walked Jerusalem's streets, declaring, 'Allah is great'. So we declared 'Yeshua is Lord', singing:] 'You are Lord, You are Lord. You have risen from the dead and You are Lord. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Yeshua, You are Lord! Amen!

  2. Palestinians have called for today to be a 'day of rage'. Why today? Why not? Friday is their day of worship and what better way to honor their blood-thirsty god than by killing Jews! Also there has been an increase in rioting on the Temple Mount since Rosh Hashanah, as during this time Jews and Christians visit God's holy hill. The rioting has forced Israel to respond with increasing strength, which, of course, the world condemns - not the riots, Molotov cocktail and rock throwing, but Israel's efforts to keep the peace and deal with terrorism.

    • Thank You for the new, more realistic, rules of engagement for both the IDF and the police.

    • Give all the security forces wisdom on how to protect the innocent and stop the guilty (Romans 13:1-4).

    • Lord, help Israel's government to be more outspoken in their support of the security forces.

    • Deafen this nation to the hypocritical cries of the world whenever Israel tries to defend itself.

    • Protect Israel's security forces; be their shield (Psalm 3:3).

    • Strive, O YHWH, with those who strive with me; fight against those who fight against me. Take hold of a shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.

      Psalms 35:1-2
    • Thank You for decreasing the influence of the left-wing media and politicians in Israel.

  3. The Temple Mount is God's holy hill. We asked Him to be totally sovereign over it today.

    • Why do nations rage, and peoples meditate on a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers plot together, against YHWH and His anointed, saying, 'Let us break their bands in two and cast away their cords from us'. He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; YHWH shall mock at them. Then He shall speak to them in His anger, and trouble them in His wrath. Yes, I have set My king on My holy hill, on Zion.

      Psalms 2:1-6
    • I cried to YHWH with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill. Selah.

      Psalms 3:4
    • Abba, protect Your holy hill this day from any further terrorist attacks.

    • We proclaim that Yeshua, as You are Lord of all, You are Lord over the Temple Mount (Acts 10:36)!

    • Recall for Your Holy name's sake, all the prayers IFI and others have prayed on Your holy hill.

    • For I will defend this city to save it, for My own sake and for My servant David's sake.

      Isaiah 37:35
  4. We prayed for Israel to know how to respond now that the Iranian nuclear deal has passed the US Congress and is basically accepted by the world. The insanity of the EU wanting to boycott Israeli goods from Judea and Samaria at the same time as they have removed all boycotts from Iran, the world's leading terror nation, shows how truth really has fallen in the streets (Isaiah 59:14).

    • Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

      Isaiah 5:20
    • Lord, for the sake of intercession, please gift us with that same spirit that the sons of Issachar had so that we might understand the signs of the times to pray for what Israel should do (1 Chronicles 12:32).

    • Abba, remember Your promise to both gather and guard us (Jeremiah 31:10).

    • We thank You for Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu who has fought the good fight in warning the world for better than two decades of the extreme danger of a Shi'ite Iran with nuclear weapons.

    • We bless You as Bibi's efforts were not futile as many more are now aware of this danger. [A large majority of Americans and of the Congress are against this deal. It was passed via a political loophole.]

    • Thank You for rasing up the IDF to defend this nation in these days (Isaiah 41:10-16; Ezekiel 37:10).

    • Provide for Israel's army game-changing weaponry.

    • Impart to Israel's military planners Your plans on how to deal with this Iranian threat (Joshua 5:13-6:5).

    • Overrule the timing so that if Israel attacks Iran - You will have gone out before them (2 Samuel 5:24).

    • Help Israel to defeat Hamas in Gaza and Hizbullah in Lebanon - both Iranian proxy terror groups.

    • Prepare Israel to be globally condemned the day after any attack - yet may the fear of the Lord reign supreme in the hearts and minds of all Israel's responsible leaders (Proverbs 29:25).

  5. The UN annual General Assembly meeting starts September 15th and runs through the rest of the month. The Pope, will meet with US President Obama in the White House on the 23rd (Yom Kippur!), then he will speak to the UN on the 25th. The Palestinian flag will be raised with the rest of the nations' flags on the 30th. What a waste of what was originally a good idea - an organization of nations to prevent further Holocausts. Now this humanistic, anti-God, anti-Semitic, tower of Babel is a dangerous joke!

    • Lord, use the UN's animosity against Israel to lead Israelis to embrace their calling as a nation that dwells apart from the other nations and is a light to the gentiles (Numbers 23:9b; Isaiah 60:3).

    • Abba, when the Palestinian flag is raised in this brazen manner, we ask for an immediate response from heaven. So I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall move out of its place, in the wrath of YHWH of Hosts, and in the day of His fierce anger. (Isaiah 13:13)

    • We thank You for Israel's new UN ambassador, Danny Danon.

    • Anoint him to speak truth in this haven of lies, and to be a source of truth to some of the diplomats he will associate with. For my mouth shall speak truth; wickedness is hateful to my lips. (Proverbs 8:7)

    • When Bibi goes to the UN, protect him from any assassination plans or any other attack on his person.

    • Anoint him mightily to speak a very clear word of warning from Jerusalem (Jeremiah 6:10).

    • Enable him to use Your Word liberally. Bring this verse to his mind as he is preparing his speech: So shall My Word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall certainly do what I sent it to do. (Isaiah 55:11)

    • Hedge in Palestinian President Abbas as to what he says and does not say.

    • May the bombastic words coming from this terrorist be the final nail in the coffin of this peace process!

    • Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.

      Proverbs 16:18
  6. Israel observes the Lord's feast of Yom Kippur (Leviticus 16:1-34; 23:4, 26-32) this coming week - from Tuesday just before sundown to Wednesday just after. It is the most important of all God's feasts and has been observed for millennia as a complete fast. Whether they live here in Israel or in exile, this day is honored by most Jews. They will be gathering in the synagogues, confessing their sins and asking God to save them. What a great day for those of us who already know the Savior to also pray - and even fast - in agreement with unsaved Israel for God to answer these prayers of His people and reveal to them Yeshua, Israel's Messiah and King, the eternal High Priest and the Yom Kippur sacrifice itself!

    • Therefore in all things it befitted [Yeshua] to be made like His brothers, that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of His people.

    • Now the sum of the things which we have spoken is this: We have such a High Priest, who has sat down on the right of the throne of the Majesty in Heaven,

      Hebrews 8:1; cp. Psalm 110:1
    • But when Messiah had become a high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building nor by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered once for all into the Holies, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

      Hebrews 9:11-12
    • Therefore, brothers, having boldness to enter the Holy of Holies by the blood of Yeshua, by a new and living way which He has consecrated for us through the veil, that is to say, His flesh; and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies having been washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering (for He is faithful who promised),

      Hebrews 10:19-23
    • Please consider spending some time this coming Yom Kippur to pray for the salvation of the Jews.

    • Also pray for Israel's protection as we recall being attacked on this day in 1973.

  7. The Israeli Rabbinate has issued a call to warn all Jews away from attending the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem's Feast of Tabernacles. They say that although these Christians stand with Israel, still they want to see Israelis become Christians, i.e., gentiles. Knowing the folks at the ICEJ, we disagree. While they would love to see more Jews coming to know Messiah as Lord and Savior, they do not want them to stop being Jewish. Still, their main focus is to support and encourage this nation in line with God's will.

    • Comfort, O comfort my people, says your God.

      Isaiah 40:1
    • How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, making peace heard; who brings good news, making salvation heard; who says to Zion, Your God reigns!

      Isaiah 52:7
    • Lord, You know how most Israelis are not very fond of the Rabbinate. Therefore, when they hear this warning, use their stubbornness for Your glory, and lead them to attend the feast - 'just because!'

    • Provoke to jealousy many of the Israelis who do attend this feast - as well as all the other believing gathering in the land at this time (Romans 11:11-14).

    • Lord, at times like this many come to minister here from outside whom You have called. We welcome them and ask that they would be both blessed and a blessing.

    • Yet Lord, some who come to minister at this time are not called by You. Somehow prevent them from even coming.

    • Lead them to be where You want them to be at this crucial stage in Your last days (John 10:27).

  8. The refugee crisis in Europe is also an Islamic invasion. One form of jihad is as Muslims immigrate to another country, stay unassimilated, forms Islamic communities based on Sharia law and establish mosques. Then more Muslims come and the community grows with the goal being to place that nation under Islamic law/Allah. The goal is not to convert the infidel - but to rule over them. Is this the future of the West? The hundreds of thousands of refugees the West is receiving make it a dangerous prospect. How to pray? That the Church would take advantage of the fact that the mission field has just moved next door - and be active and creative in evangelizing. And that the Jews would see that now is the time to come home - to make aliyah - as this influx of the Islamic spirit will definitely cause an increase in active anti-Semitic attacks.

    • Behold, I will send for many fishermen, says YHWH, and they will fish them. And afterwards I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them from every mountain and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

      Jeremiah 16:16
    • We bless You for the large increase in aliyah so far this year.

    • Open the eyes of the Jews throughout the West that their comfortable time of exile is over.

    • Thus says YHWH of Hosts: Behold, I will save My people from the east country, and from the west. I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. And they shall be My people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

      Zechariah 8:7-8
    • Give Western believers an anointing to proclaim truth to those trapped under the Islamic spirit.

    • Give Western believers an anointing to help Your people return to Zion (Isaiah 49:22).

Thank you for standing in the gap for this nation and its people - so that God may be glorified.

Shabbat shalom
